Welcome to Phos, our exquisite suite in the heart of Plaka, the most picturesque area in Athens' centre, offering an unparalleled view of the majestic Acropolis. Located in a prime location, our suite combines luxury, comfort, and the enchanting beauty of ancient Greece.

The Name: To the Ancient Greeks, Phos (Φῶς) was “a pure, brilliant quality of light, signifying a break in the darkness, a triumph of truth and knowledge over ignorance”. The luminosity and unique beauty of Greek light have captured the imagination of poets, Lord Byron, Odysseus Elytis, and Constantine Cavafy to name a few. Phos is the epitome of creation and beauty, in Plaka, the centre of light in our city, Athens.


Our spacious suite features modern design with traditional touches, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The highlight of the suite is the private patio, where you can relax and admire the breathtaking panorama of the Parthenon. Whether you’re sprawled out on the sofa in the living room or lying down in the bedroom, the Acropolis is never out of sight. Imagine sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine while soaking in the historic sights!
The suite includes a plush queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, a cosy sitting area, and a private bathroom with all necessary amenities. The decor showcases a blend of contemporary elegance and nods to Athens' rich history, creating a unique and memorable experience.

Location: Our suite is nestled in Plaka, in the heart of Athens, just a short walk away from major attractions such as the Acropolis, the Acropolis Museum, and the historic Monastiraki Square. You'll find an array of charming cafes, vibrant restaurants, and local shops nearby, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the city.
Despite being just a breath away from the bustling centre, the suite remains peacefully quiet, so you can escape the lively city pulse to find solace in this peaceful sanctuary any time you choose to!
Kindly note that the suite is located on the 4th floor, accessible by an elevator.

Phos is a wonderful sanctuary in the heart of Plaka, and easy walking to the top historical sights, myriad food and wine options, and shopping. It sits just under the Acropolis, with a fine view of the Parthenon. The apartment is spacious, well equipped, and nicely decorated.The hosts, both Maria and Kris, were extraordinarily helpful with guides and recommendations. They were very attentive, and we felt as if our enjoyment of the apartment and our time in Athens was of the utmost importance to them. We absolutely loved Phos.

This property is a solid 10/10. It has everything you need inside the apartment- plus the design and decor are fabulous! The deck that looks at the acropolis is a great way to start and end your day.. it is in the heart of Athens, but off the busy street so it is quiet. Perfect location . Sun shade and AC keep it cool. The elevator means no dragging your luggage. Close to everything. Book this and enjoy Athens!

This place earns a AAA+ in our book. Fabulous location, best view in town, extremely well equipped and very comfortable. If we couldn't stay, we wanted to stuff the whole thing in our suitcase and take it home with us!

Great Location!

The location of the apartment is excellent. Within easy walking distance of great restaurants and cafes as well as the Acropolis and the museum. The view of the Acropolis from the apartment was amazing, especially at night.

Incredibly convenient location, small but super efficiently designed and appointed! Magical view of the Acropolis from the apartment. We were there for three nights before our cruise and hated to leave!!! Perfect for a couple!

Great apartment in central location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great apartment, fabulous view of the Acropolis, and a central location in Plaka that is walkable to almost anywhere. And it was quiet at night so we could sleep. Well decorated with all the essentials. Highly recommend!

A spectacular view & perfect location

The apartment itself wasn't large however it was the right amount of space for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teen daughters). The communication with the host was easy, the location was amazing for exploring the city without a car and the view was INCREDIBLE!

Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights before our cruise. Amazing location. Close to all the main attractions….everything walkable. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening and morning. The view was amazing. Apartment, though small, had everything we needed. Loved the convenience of having a washer. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location with an incredible view

Phos house provides its guest with a modern apartment with incredible views and a most convenient location close to major activities and numerous restaurants. The furnishings were near new and kitchen was well stocked with high quality items. This will be my first choice of a place to book when returning to Athens.
