Amazing stay in the center of Tuscany! The house was perfectly situated in this charming town. We enjoyed not only the days in town but also how convenient it was to get around the area. If Montepulciano is on your list, stay at Maria Teresa's beautiful home!

Great property inside the town! Host was very helpful throughout the trip! Great location! Must mention however if you have anyone with physical limitations this is not the place to stay. Or if you need to leave to drive outside the village as you may not have a place to park when you return. Because of this we spent a lot of money getting private drivers and leaving the rental car parked. Parking may only be a three minute walk, but it is far too steep and too far to pull luggage up the incline. All bedrooms are up one-two flights of stairs so we left our luggage on the main floor to avoid those. Note: We were traveling with heavy luggage as in Italy two weeks and a wedding. Even without luggage the incline from parking #7 is fierce. Other than that, the actual house and host were great!

Love Love Love!

We are a family of 8 and had a lovely experience at the house. Maria’s communication was impeccable, the house is perfect, and the location can’t be beat! We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Location, location, location

The property was spectacular, and the check-in process with Maria Teresa was a breeze. Laundry facility was a bonus. The beds were comfy and the attic would have been a perfect place for kids to hang out if I had preteens (playpen was included). Hand soap dispensers and body wash was provided. Clean and comfortable. I’m coming back!

The host was very accommodating and communicated the minute we booked. The apartment is lovely & truly is in the center of Montepulciano. This is one of our favorite towns to stay in while in Tuscany. The apartment can be reached from various parking lots (since you cannot drive in the town unless you are a resident). It takes a minute to get your luggage up the street, but it's a short walk and well worth it! There are many restaurants (great Bistecca alla Fiorentina in town & pici w/any sauce & great wine) & shops right outside the door. It is a 4-story apartment. The first floor has a large sitting area, living room w/TV & large dining room table with a 1/2 bathroom. The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms & two full baths. One of the bedrooms has a large bed and a twin...it's a large room! The top floor has queen size bed in one bedroom and 2 twin beds in the other room with a sitting area and a little half bathroom. The kitchen has everything and the host leaves coffee and sugar & she has amenities for bathing. The refrigerator is a good size & has a washer/dryer. The house is very clean and the rooms have AC. Even in 90-degree Fahrenheit weather the living area is cool. There is a sauna in the basement, but we didn't use it since it's so hot in the summer. Three adults and 2 kids stayed here. It was quiet inside & everyone was able to spread out & relax. The beds were comfy & there is Wi-Fi. We enjoyed ourselves and would stay in the location again. Thank you!!

Lots of Character

This property has a lot of character. It’s very well kept and clean. If you want the classic Montepulciano home experience, this is it. It is old and during the summer a bit musty. There are a/c units in the bedrooms but not the kitchen or living rooms although they stayed comfortable during our stay. Great location, just two blocks from the center of town. Lots of restaurants and shops steps away. You will have to park outside of town if you don’t have a permit to drive in town, very tight streets. The walk from the parking lot will get your heart pumping, it’s up several flights of stairs. A challenge when you have luggage. The views from town are amazing. Maria assisted us with any information we needed and was fantastic.
