Lovely well-equipped cottage in super location

Probably the best equipped cottage we have stayed in. A super home-from-home, warm and comfortable, a large garden that the dogs loved, beautifully quiet and peaceful and only minutes drive from the sea. Super walks from the door (ours evolved into a tour of four of the local churches, fascinating!) We will definitely be back.

Another fantastic stay at the sanctuary aka the Grove

A wonderful stay in our little sanctuary. Away from the noise of cars and people, this is a rare and precious find. Somewhere that keeps out dogs happy (with woods and beach 5 minutes in each direction).

We had a wonderful time at The Grove

It was our first time at the grove, We had a fabulous welcome pack for the girls and us humans. Well stocked kitchen plenty of cutlery, and cooking pans and trays for the oven if you are eating in which we do mostly even shampoo and toothbrushes if you forget yours, lots of dog toys , the list can go on... It was so clean and wonderful garden lots of outdoor seating everything was absolutely fantastic Pete and Ali have thought of everything Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will be back soon. Already to book again

A relaxing break in the countryside

The bungalow was very clean and welcoming. It is one of the best places we've stayed in. Lovely views, a great rear garden and walks straight from the door. We wanted to stay somewhere where we could relax (we live in Cromer, just a few miles away from the Grove, and it gets very busy this time of year) and the Grove was perfect. Our elderly dog settled in immediately and found a new lease of life. A change of scenery did us all a world of good!

We love Staying at the Grove

This was our second visit to the Grove and it was superb again, so much so we have booked a third year. East Rushton Cottages takes dog friendly to new levels and the Grove is a superb example of this. The property is immaculately presented, and the peace of mind of the secure garden ensures a truly relaxed holiday. Our 3 dogs always are so settled from the moment we enter the front door, even our youngest dog who was returned to his breeder and didnt stay last year (and has only been with us 5 months was very relaxed) and we had taken his toys, but loved the toy box. We cannot thank the owners enough for such a wonderful relaxing holiday. And a huge and heartfelt thank you to Sue at ERC for assisting with my booking when my computer had a wobbly mid transaction.

My perfect holiday home

The Grove is perfect for me. It's on one floor, it is not too big, but very comfortable and cosy. To cap it all it has a lovely, large, fully enclosed rear garden with different areas to sit in so you can follow the sun or the shade at different times of the day. It's in a lovely rural location, a few minutues from Bacton Woods and only 5 minutes from the coast. My 3 toy poodles, one of which can be reactive, absolutely love it here. They fully relax, so therefore so can I. No hesitation in recommending The Grove.

Beautiful Garden

Lovely bungalow, with so much attention to detail when it comes to your dog’s comfort. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was lovely. The living room is on the smaller side, but comfortable and cosy. The jewel in the crown was the beautiful garden, our dogs loved it as much as we did. In between all the walks around the beautiful countryside. With the woods and beach not too far away. Highly recommend.

Best dog holiday ever.

The bungalow was extremely welcoming with almost everything needed for a doggy holiday, plus everything his humans needed, and some. From the moment we opened the gate to the back garden it was obviously going to be a good place to stay. Completely secure garden for ball throwing and doggy sniffing. A cupboard full of doggy toys and bowls. The kitchen had the biggest selection of utensils I've ever had in a holiday let. The welcome goodies were amazing. I was worried about whether our dog would be ok, he's never been on holiday but, unlike some places we looked at that were only tolerant of dogs, he was allowed anywhere and after a bit of hesitation made himself at home. We are already talking about our next visit.

Lovely quiet cottage

Great location if you like peace and quiet. Super views and lovely sunsets. Amazingly well equipped. Big garden, perfect for the dogs, lots of seating to enjoy the sun or the shade all day round. Quiet road with easy access to very pleasant walks. Fascinating church just around the corner, well off the beaten track.

Lovely quiet cottage

The location is idyllic, very quiet with walks from the front door. The cottage was well laid out, very clean and tidy with everything you would need. The garden is a great size and fully enclosed, perfect for sighthound 'zoomies'. A great area to holiday in with plenty to do, places to visit and dog friendly cafes, pubs & restaurants in the area.

Perfect stay

Lovely place to stay. Our 2nd visit and just as welcoming. Everything you could need and more. Great garden for sniffs and runs for the dogs if they had any energy left after the beach walks. Comfortable beds and cosy duvet. Great bathroom for nice soaks after those long walks, also amazing shower if you prefer. Brilliant place to stay

A great place for people and dogs

This was our first visit to The Grove. The bungalow is equipped with everything you could possibly need for people and dogs. It is very comfortable with amazing views over open countryside at the front. The dogs loved the large garden and the nearby walks. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely have another holiday at The Grove.

Great peaceful location

The Grove is a comfortable homely cottage, well equipped for dogs and humans. Lovely and clean and fresh on arrival. Country walks from the door and a short drive to the beach. Shops, pubs, cafes all in easy reach. If you want peace and quiet with everything else on your doorstep it is perfect!

A very special place!

Our 2nd stay in this superb dog welcoming cottage and I am sure we will book it again at some point . Home from home ,very clean and well equipped. The garden is secure and a pleasure to spend time in . Good peaceful walks from the door and short drive to Bacton woods. Everything and more we needed for our holiday was provided .

Peace and quiet

The Grove was in an excellent location, on a quiet lane with views over fields, but also close to woods and the beach. It was lovely and clean and had everything you needed. The garden was generous in size and also very secure. I would definitely recommend the cottage and look forward to my return visit later on this year.

Home from home and hound heaven

We stayed for 3 weeks due to renovation work at home. The hosts were not extremely friendly and accommodating. The property had everything you could possibly need down to the last detail. Our dogs loved it. Close to Bacton Woods, Bacton Beach (dog friendly from the car park) and Pogmey woods. We took trips out to Felbrigg and Blickling and had amazing weather throughout. Peaceful, quiet and perfect.

Excellent Place!

Comprehensive welcome information. Immaculately clean. Massive useful welcome pack. Comfy bed. Soft lovely smelling towels. Gorgeous garden with different seating areas. Garden 100% dog proof & well lit. Lovely walks right from the door. Felt really homely. Supermarket conveniently located. that will deliver. Local pub (The Bluebell) very welcoming with delicious home cooked meals. Shall definitely return!!

Brilliant Property & Facilities, in a wonderfully peaceful location

This property goes beyond Dog Friendly. Having stayed in other places "where dogs are welcome" there is such a difference when staying at a property like this which is set up for your dogs canine comfort but still caters superbly for humans too. The peace of mind of a secure garden with sunny and shady spots, multiple seating areas in the garden. Dog bowls, spare leads, dog toys, etc, some lovely locally made dog biscuits and goodies for us too in a lovely welcome hamper. Superb facilities, very well maintained, very clean and tidy, which makes for a wonderful restful, and thoroughly enjoyable holiday for you and your beloved dogs. Thank you so much, we will definitely be booking again.
