Une charmante escapade romantique pour un couple bénéficiant d'une vue imprenable sur la mer depuis toutes les chambres. Ce chalet est plein de caractère et de bizarreries avec poutres d'origine, plafonds en pente et un escalier escarpé traditionnel de Norfolk winder; idéalement situé avec vue sur la mer à quelques pas de la plage et de la promenade et à proximité de toutes les commodités. Rez de chaussée: Porte d'entrée donnant sur le salon: avec TV avec SAT GRATUIT et table à manger, porte à la cuisine: avec four électrique, plaque vitrocéramique, four micro-ondes et réfrigérateur avec compartiment congélateur. Escalier traditionnel de Norfolk winder raide menant au petit atterrissage.
Premier étage: Chambre: avec lit Kingsize, garde-robe de cabane de plage, TV murale, avec SAT GRATUIT, plafond voûté avec poutres apparentes. Salle de bain: baignoire d'angle, WC, lavabo sur pied.
Veuillez noter: Wi-Fi. Dehors à l'avant du chalet est une petite zone fermée avec table et chaises pour profiter du soleil du matin surplombant Lifeboat Plain. A beautiful cottage!

Scrimshaw Cottage is in an excellent location - close to both the sea and all the excellent cafes & local, independent shops which make Sheringham such an interesting place to stay. The Cottage has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard. We really enjoyed our two week stay - thank you!

The property was very clean and in a great location very close to shops, pubs, restaurants and the beach, Scrimshaw Cottage has sea views out of three of the windows, We had a lovely holiday and will stay there again

Happy holiday

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Scrimshaw Cottage which has been an enjoyable relaxing holiday. Ideal location for meeting friends and relatives. The cottage as usual is well equipped, tidy and very comfortable. We will certainly be back to Sheringham.

Once again we’ve had a superb week in this delightful cottage. It’s always lovely and clean. Attractively decorated and furnished. Next to the sea and just around the corner for lots of shops and cafes.

Excellent accommodation for two.

First class accommodation in Sherringham which is a very clean and tidy town. The accommodation is only a few meters away from the sea front and close to all local amenities.

Third stay

This was our third visit to Scrimshaw cottage and we love the location. It is right next to the beach and close to pubs, shops and restaurants. There is a car park right next door which now offers weekly tickets but we unload and head for the streets which offer free parking. The cottage is perfect for two is great for a weeks stay.

Excellent location and beautifully decorated cottage. Two Smart TVs were a welcome addition which most cottages don't have. A welcome pack was much appreciated together with the comprehensive summary of things to see and do within the local area.

Brilliant cottage. Stay again definitely. Spotless. Central position and just by the sea. Owners kindly left a welcome gift of delicious chocolate biscuits and a bottle of red wine!!

Relaxing & Close to Sea

The cottage was very quirky but cosy and comfortable. The accommodation was well equipped with a welcome bottle of wine , tea , coffee , milk and biscuits supplied. I thought this a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this place to stay. I will definitely be returning.

A lovely comfortable cottage

We had a really enjoyable stay in Scrimshaw Cottage. Very comfortable furniture and beds and all very well furnished. The kitchen was modern and very well equipped. The situation was brilliant, being only a few yards from the sea wall, pubs/restaurants and the main shopping streets. Thank you.

Lovely Cottage

Lovely cottage, the lounge, well laid out with two nice comfortable sofa's , coffee tables ,and good dining table ,this was a lovely room to come back to when we had been out ,so relaxing . spacious kitchen well equipped all we needed.. Upstairs bedroom and bathroom all laid out nicely, great views of the sea., Being over 80 we did find the top of the stairs abit tricky but just had to take extra care ., We did enjoy our relaxing stay .

3rd visit

This was our 3rd stay at Scrimshaw Cottage and we love the location with its sea views. Some nice new touches since last time in the new kitchen. It is a perfect place to stay for two. The parking is not an issue as there is a car park next door but we park on the streets for free a few minutes walk away after unloading. I am sure we will be back

Absolutely lovely

What a fabulous little cottage! Absolutely immaculate and with everything you could possibly need for your stay. It has a lovely 'feel' as soon as you walk in, and is extremely comfortable from the sofas to the bed. The position of the cottage is perfect with everything so close by.. shops, pubs, restaurants etc, yet tucked away slightly. It was so lovely to be able to see the sea from every window and to be so close to it. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs are fairly steep but there are only 7 of them and another 2 at the bottom going into the kitchen are usual size. There is a small car park for around 20 cars out to the side of the cottage which we used as we were there for 3 days we paid the £8.70 for 24hrs and nipped out to renew it, but as per other reviews there is plenty of free parking around if you want. We were there at the end of September but I imagine during peak season it would be a lot busier. We were very sad to leave the cottage and have every intention of re-booking for more visits.

Our 4th visit

We love the location of this cottage, right by the sea and close to all amenities. Its a 2 minute walk to pubs and 5 minutes from the main street. Nothing much has changed of late and it is perhaps ready for a little update in parts. There is plenty of free parking around Sheringham so this has never been a problem. I am sure we will visit again

Last minute break

This is our 3rd time at Scrimshaw Cottage. The cottage is very clean with a well equiped kitchen. Parking available right next to cottage for extra payment. Its perfect for 2 people. Close to beach, pubs, shops etc. Will probably stay again soon!

As usual fab holiday in Sherringham & stay in Scrimshaw Cottage - our 4th in this property. The cottage is well positioned for the beach, shops, cafes & pubs and is a great find - good value & really comfy Unfortunately this will be our last stay in this cottage - the change over day has changed to a Friday & this is totally unsuitable, meaning an extra day of leave as unable to get to Sherringham after work. A real shame as we love this little cottage.
