Lovely stay in St Ives

We had a lovely stay in a very well equipped apartment. The kitchen had everything needed if you should want to cook for yourselves.

Review of our stay

We really enjoyed our stay here, with the gorgeous view and perfect location- close to the shops and the beach. Unfortunately, the apartment wasn’t clean when we arrived. There were some dirty cutlery and a cup in the dishwasher and a lot of dust. The plastic plates in the cupboard were really dirty and had thick white dirt on. Some of the other kitchen utensils that were in the drawer were also not clean. We requested to use the high chair and cot, but these had to be cleaned as they were filthy. The fire extinguisher stand was not fitted correctly to the wall and fell off during our stay. The toilet and bathroom was not clean and there were old soap marks down the sides of the bath from previous guests. The apartment provided clean towels for our stay, soap, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets and washing machine capsules which were really useful during our stay. Overall it was a nice apartment, spacious and in a great location but the cleanliness could have been better as a lot of things were missed and not checked.

Hi Emily, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the gorgeous views, spacious apartment and that the property was close to the beach. We are very sorry to learn that the cleanliness of the apartment did not meet the standard you expected on arrival. We sincerely apologise for the issues you encountered with the kitchen items, bathroom, high chair, cot, and general dust throughout the property. This is not the level of presentation we aim to provide for our guests. We will pass all you feedback to the owner and the local contact to review. We are happy to hear that you found the amenities provided including the dishwasher tablets and cleaning product were useful for your stay. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Cornwall and hope to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes, The Luxury Coastal
