Cottage de charme à 50 mètres de la plage de Porthmeor pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Avec parking

Star Gazy se trouve dans une rue piétonne calme et dispose d’un parking privé à quelques pas, un atout supplémentaire à St. Ives. La plage de Porthmeor est à quelques minutes à pied du chalet, avec toutes les autres plages, cafés et petits magasins, etc. à 5 minutes à pied. Une fois entré dans la maison, il y a 6 marches qui vous mènent à la salle à manger, tout est alors de plain-pied. Étoile Gazy a été construit il y a environ 200 ans comme un magasin pour les poissons, et a été converti sur une confortable maison de 3 chambres il y a environ 100 ans. Étoile Gazy conserve plusieurs de ses caractéristiques d'origine, y compris planches dénudées dans la salle à manger et chambres à coucher, et de poutres et de granit exposés dans la salle à manger. Il est léger et aéré et donne sur les jardins dans la prairie. On a pris soin dans le choix des meubles et de l'équipement pour faire le chalet comme original et confortable que possible. Un pack de bienvenue contenant du thé, du café et des biscuits vous attendra, et notre gouvernante mettra tout en œuvre pour laisser quelques objets dans le chalet pour votre usage: vaisselle, sel, poivre, savon pour les mains, etc. Tous les draps et serviettes sont professionnellement lavés et inclus dans le prix. Les serviettes de plage, les lits bébés, les poussettes, les chaises hautes et tout autre équipement peuvent être loués directement auprès de Star Linen St. Ives et seront livrés et collectés pour vous. Épiciers locaux etc sont à 2 minutes à pied. Les supermarchés sont à la lisière de la ville.

The property was situated just off the beach had everything we needed to have a relaxing time in St Ives. Great help was the tap by the door to wash off the sand before entering the property. Beds were comfortable bedding fresh and clean. Host was great at communication access to the property and parking space was very straightforward. Loved our stay highly recommend

What a location!

If u want a quiet location with a 1 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to a he hustle and bustle this is it! Just perfect

We had a lovely stay at Star Gazy. The locations is perfect for Porthmeor Beach and the town. Having a car space was an added bonus. The cottage was great if a little worn but we were there at the end of a very busy season. Would definitely book again xx

It was great to have Louise and her family as our guests. Finding parking is never easy in St. Ives and we managed to purchase a space some years ago and have been very grateful for it. After this hard busy year of Covid and lack of builders etc. Star-Gazy is due for redecorating inside and out this winter ready to welcome our guests next year.

Great cottage

We had a fantastic week at Star Gazy. The cottage was spacious, light, bright, clean and so well equipped! Location is in a really quiet street but still only a 2 minute walk to Porthmeor beach. We loved wandering down at night and watching the sunset. Outside tap so useful for washing wetsuits. Car park a bonus. We would definitely return.

Sweet cottage near Porthmeor Beach.

This sweet cottage is less than a minute’s walk from the beautiful Porthmeor Beach in St Ives. It has everything you need for a holiday. A real home from home feel too. You can easily get to the shops and, although there isn’t a view of the sea, you can hear the distant sounds of the waves from the beach which is really lovely! The only thing to be aware of is the parking is up a pretty steep road/steps and takes about 5-10 minutes depending on how fit you are and it can be tricky with traffic flow getting in and out of the parking spot. But overall it is a super place, especially if you intend to spend most of your time on the beautiful Porthmeor Beach!

Great location, very close to porthmeor beach, was easy for the kids as less than a minutes walk. Has everything you need, and fairly quiet. Comfy sofa and smart tv was handy as has Netflix etc. towels were also provided, iron, hair dryer, outside tap for sand, comfy beds. Parking was handy, just a little difficult to get to with the one way systems now in place, so unloading and loading was a challenge as you feel in the way of pedestrians when pulling up. The parking was a few mins walk away but didn’t need it once parked up for the week. Kitchen provided everything we needed and has a washer/dryer. We had a lovely stay here overall

Das tolle an dem kleinen Häuschen ist, dass man in 1 Minute am Strand von St.Ives ist.Außerdem liegt es mitten in der schönen Altstadt und auch Wanderwege sind ganz in der Nähe und zu Fuß errreichbar.

Perfect location, opposite the beach just love St Ives

Perfect location right opposite the beach and two minutes from the town. Nice accommodation but could have been cleaner. I found crumbs in my bedroom and dirt between the settee. The accommodation did need updating and a proper deep clean. If your not too particular it’s the ideal accommodation at a good price.,

Lovely cottage in a great location

Great communication from the owner from start to finish. Lovely cottage in a great location, but the steps may be problematic for some. It was great being able to get to the beach in seconds, as well as being able to walk into town so quickly. We didn’t use the car all week.

Enjoyable stay

We had an enjoyable stay at star Gazy Cottage. Sandra’s communication was brilliant from booking to leaving. The location of the property was incredible-just a few feet away from the beach and shops. I do think that maybe the bathroom could do with updating as the shower is very small. But all in all a positive stay. Thank you Sandra.

We had a great time at StarGazy, great location close to both town and the beach. Check in was simple and the owner was easy to communicate with. Although there’s a few steps to enter once you are in it’s great to have property all on one level. Would stay again

The best location

This place is lovely, in a great location close to the beach and shops but really quiet too. The property has some really lovely art work on the walls which was appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to book Stargazy again, thank you:)

Perfect Location!

Stargazy is a little gem! Seconds from the beach and minutes from the harbour and town, it really is in the perfect location. Sandra left a lovely welcome bottle of wine and some essentials to get us started and her cottage is both traditional and beautiful. The parking space is a huge bonus too! Thank you Sandra, we had a wonderful week and will definitely book again!

Our family spent several wonderful holidays in St Ives and in 2002 we made the decision to buy a holiday home of our own. St Ives cafes, beaches and walks are open all year round and we carefully chose Star Gazy for its excellent, quiet, location in the heart of old St. Ives in Down-a-Long, close to the beach and restaurants as our much loved family holiday home.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Star Gazy is in a quiet pedestrian lane away from passing traffic yet only 50 meters away from the fantastic beach of Porthmeor, where you can enjoy breakfast in the cafe overlooking the beach. 2 minutes walk along the cobbled Digey takes you to the Harbour, shops, and range of cafes and restaurants.

Star Gazy is an old granite cottage with three bedrooms for up to six people and a baby, but is much enjoyed by couples also as a quiet retreat.
Full central Heating, unlimited hot water, professionally laundered linen, gas, electricity, and WiFi and net-flix are all included in the price. Star Gazy has its own parking space for an average sized family car 10 mins walk away, at the top of Windsor Hill a bonus in busy St Ives.

Off season we offer bargain rates to guests who appreciate the benefits of the quieter months of the year. 3 to 7 night breaks are available between end October and Easter.
