What a charming and well-appointed home. Wonderful views of the sea and Porthmeor Beach. The house has everything you need and is looked after to the highest standards. We have some mobility issues and Rachel checked with us before booking to ensure the house was suitable for us. We stayed at Christmas and New Year and the welcome basket was most generous. Wonderful to wake up to views of the ocean.

Das Haus macht einen sehr hĂŒbschen Eindruck. Wir wurden mit scones und tee und Kaffee empfangen. Wir fanden alles in der KĂŒche. Die Lage und die Aussicht vom Haus aus sind grandios. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Lediglich die Betten sind instabil und die Matratzen durchgelegen. Sonst gibt es aber nichts zu beanstanden. St. Ives ist unter eine Reise wert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The house was very comfortable, nicely decorated and had great views out of the back. The area was quiet but still close to a great beach and an easy 10-15 minute downhill walk to the town. The scones and cream waiting for us as we arrived was a nice touch. The host was also accommodating when we asked for an earlier check in as our train arrived very early in the morning, they let us know when the cleaning was finished so we could get in a bit earlier than the posted 3pm check in.

Lovely Place to Stay

The place was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Towels and bed linen beautiful quality. Beaches and town centre are within walking distance. Communication with the owner was easy and she responded quickly. We had a lovely long weekend and hope to return.We would highly recommend.

We loved our stay in St Ives. The house was perfect for our family of four, and was well-equipped with everything we needed. There were lovely touches, like the welcome Cornish Cream Tea and milk, plus coffee pods for the machine! The addition of games and books was a plus too. Host Rachel was super-helpful and provided lots of useful information.

New Year celebrations

From start to finish, very easy check in with great communication, upon arrival milk, scones, clotted cream and jam provid. Everything that you need is in the apartment, looks like it's been refurbished not so long ago, off road parking. Just the perfect stay with a sea view. Highly recommend this place.

Everything we needed

Recently stayed at Beach Haven with my wife and 7 month old baby. The house was spotless and had absolutely everything you’d ever want - every kitchen appliance, a travel cot and even a BBQ. Shower was big, powerful and perfect after a day at the beach. The location was unreal! Amazing views and walking distance to everything. Rachel was a fantastic host and answered any questions I had - nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and we’ll no doubt be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Breath of fresh air

Beautifully appointed house. Great location and really appreciated the space. Very well equipped and everything was clearly explained as to how to operate tv, washing machine and dishwasher. Perfect Family Getaway at Beach Haven: Immaculate Property with Stunning Views

We had a wonderful time at Beach Haven in April. The property was spotless and thoughtfully equipped, offering plenty of space for our family of four. It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal, just a short stroll from Porthmeor Beach and central St Ives, with stunning views of the beach from the property. Clean, cosy and well positioned

My family and I had a lovely break in Beach Haven, St Ives. There are super views across Porthmeor beach from the front, it's a 5 minute walk down the hill to the Tate Modern & Porthmeor; and a 12 minutes walk into the main centre and harbour area. The house is compact, clean, very well equipped, and perfect for a comfortable getaway. Thanks so much - we'll be back!

Rachel was a really good host, the cottage is set up perfectly and is in a great location with views of the beach/sea. St Ives is amazing and would highly recommend a stay here.

A family of five we wanted to provide a welcoming home for our guests to enjoy St Ives. Our children grew up on the beaches of St Ives and we visit as often as we can having lived there for several years.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

St Ives is the most beautiful town which is famous for attracting artists due to the unique quality of light. We fell in love with St Ives many years ago and feel very privileged to own Beach Haven. We love to share our home with our guests so that they too can stay in high quality accommodation with a fabulous view in this very special and unique location in beautiful Cornwall.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The views are fabulous, whether you sit on the sofa in the living room with its floor to ceiling glass wall which takes in the views over the sea, beach and island or if you wake up in the morning, open the wooden blinds and take in the view from the master bedroom. It wasn't until we finished renovating Beach Haven and sat on the sofa for the first time that we appreciated exactly how fabulous the views are! We also have a private parking space at the front of the house which is a real bonus for St Ives.
