Perfect, cozy gathering spot

Great location, plenty of space for a big group. Came with old friends and spent the time hanging out, playing games, and exploring nearby. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Dream Retreat

Lovely place in a great location

This is a lovely house on an even lovelier piece of land. Just a few minutes from a great grocery store, coffee shops, cute boutique shopping, restaurants, parks and playgrounds for the little ones, and even night life. And of COURSE a great launch point for all your hiking/natural adventures. Just perfect in the fall with colors everywhere.

Lovely property and spacious inside and outside. Accommodated our group very nicely. Kitchen was great to work in to prepare meals. Not everyone in the group could physically access the secret waterfall.

Wonderful Weekend Away at the Four Seasons

We had an incredible weekend away at this gorgeous home. So many amazing features, all neatly marked with clear instructions on how to use the various amenities in the house. We were very impressed/ Our group of 9 friends enjoyed it immensely. I've already recommended this to others! Would come back again!

mountain hideaway

Wonderful very large home in the mountains. Quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday here with plenty of room for cooking and lounging. Able to bring our dog too which was an added plus. Small village nearby with cute shops for Saturday shopping and grocery store within 5 miles. House has everything you need.

Spacious Retreat

Like the Catskills, the property is gorgeous and a bit dated. Our group of four found it comfortable. The rooms we used were pleasant enough for our needs while the two rooms on the lowest level would have been unacceptable.

Hidden Gem!

The house, property and locale were all just what we were hoping for. Spacious enough for us and our adult children to gather, with a large kitchen and dining area for the most important thing: time together. We also got in some wonderful cycling and hiking. The shopping and restaurants in the area were great. Plus bowling! The only thing I’d stay away from is the Mini Golf in Arkville. Not ready for prime time.

Beautiful Peaceful Setting

The property was exactly as the listing described! A large space with gorgeous views and ample privacy for four couples. The contemporary, but rustic decor was very pretty and comfortable, including all the beds. We had everything we needed to prepare meals for 8 people each day and room to have our meals together. Several times a day my family hike down to the falls, dogs in tow. In the evening we built a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed s'mores. Exactly the experience we were looking for! Definitely planning on returning!

Annual Friends Getaway Weekend was great

We have just returned from a great weekend getaway at this lovely country home. The size and amenities in the kitchen and great room added to the experience. Each bedroom was comfortable although some felt the temperature to fluctuate, overall, we were comfortable. The lower level bedrooms are below grade, so not at bright and airy but still comfortable. The property is beautiful and some of our friends took the hike down hill to the hidden waterfall. The home is stocked with plenty of extras which made for less trips to the grocery store. The surrounding area is very quaint with nice shops on main street and a grocery store and CVS close by. We wish the weather had cooperated so we could have used the yard, deck, and fire pit more often. Appreciate the hospitality and would recommend this property to others as Tian answered our messages/txt when we had a question.

Great House but Very Uncomfortable Furniture

This house was spacious and extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The only thing that really bothered us was the furniture. It was all extremely low to the ground and the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced. Couches slid around on floor, cushions were hard, and the beds were not comfortable either. After a long day of skiing when you just want to relax, it was hard in this house. In addition, the master bath shower drizzled water and there was absolutely no pressure. There has to be something wrong with the shower head. We used the other upstairs shower instead. We only stayed for 2 nights, but I couldn't wait to get home to my own bed, couches, and shower.

Great Getaway!

this house was very big and clean and the hiking trail and waterfalls were beautiful! My children, Shepherd, and I had a wonderful relaxing time. The town of Margaretville is very quaint and nice walking the street and visiting the shops. Thank you!
