Escape to this stylish and charming Catskills log home. This home sits in the heart of Catskills park on a secluded 11 acres property of mountain retreat. Minutes to Belleayre ski Mountain, Plattekill ski center & historic Margaretville town. Many hiking trails nearby. Tons of seasonal outdoor exploring activities to go around during your stay. The house is featuring 4 Bedrooms and can host up to 10 people, 2 modern design bathrooms, 7 seats hot tub on a large size outdoor deck, game room with pool table, dart board game, foosball table and poker pinball machine for all ages to play. Wine bar lounge to have a desirable beverage to unwind the night away. Back of the house has an outdoor basketball court and playground for some outdoor activities during the day time. This house has a space for everyone to spend a quality and memorable time with friends and family.

Second time at this house. House was great, great location. Beautiful just walking down the road. There is a small waterfall a little more then a mile down Cape Horn road. House was fine for 7 people. We had good weather for April and were able to utilize the outdoor fire pit. If you are looking for a good restaurant, Tito Banditos in Pine Hill is a great spot. Solid Mexican food and great Margaritas. Can't wait to return in the fall!

We had a wonderful winter stay! The house was spotless and very well prepared for our arrival — you can tell the hosts really care about their guests. Check-in was easy, instructions were clear, and communication was quick and helpful. We also really appreciated that the home is pet-friendly. There was plenty to do indoors, so no one was bored; both the kids and the adults had a great time. We’d happily stay again and definitely recommend this place!

Thanksgiving Fun

We had a beautiful snowy Thanksgiving in the Catskills! Everything was as described/pictured. It was the first Vrbo experience for my parents, who are in their 70s, and they loved it. Comfortable, clean, and cozy.

Catskills Stay

The house and property were beautiful. Paula was an excellent host and communication was quick and easy. The spaciousness and the game room were great as it rained a good deal of the week but our stay was still thoroughly enjoyable.

Cute house in a cute town!

We had such a nice time in Margaretville for a long weekend with close friends and family. The property was great for kids to play and us all to spend time together. The kitchen was great for a few at home meals and the fire at night was great for s’mores! The rooms and beds were comfortable and the basement was a great space for us to play board games and hang out together.

All the women enjoyed their stay. There was 10 of us women, so the 2 bathrooms to share was a bit of a challenge, but we managed.

Great property for families / moderate size groups who enjoy (friendly) competition and outdoor activities. House was as advertised or better - very nice interior with good amenities throughout. Plenty to do inside and outside on the property. Fun local options for food, golf, hiking. Paula is a very responsive / helpful host. Great trip for our group - would highly recommend!

House was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was big and was great for family dinners. 4th bedroom is in basement. I didn’t know that beforehand.

Family ski trip

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful Catskills Getaway Home. The house was exactly as described and pictured, we enjoyed all the amenities. The hot tub on the deck was perfection, just what we needed after a long day of skiing, The downstairs game room was a blast. Everything was perfect for my family of six's annual winter ski trip. Looking forward to returning.

Lovely ski destination!

This is a beautifully decorated, modern house set on a country road in the woods. Perfectly situated between Plattekill and Belleayre ski areas, we enjoyed the first snow storm of the year in cozy style! Our college-age and tween kids all wanted to know when we could go back. Great layout for everyone to have their own space and also come together for fires, meals, movies, pool, card games, etc. A winner!

Wedding weekend in Catskills

If your travels bring you to the area and this house is available I suggest you book it right away. Our multigenerational family was attending a wedding in the area and all of the other guests complained about their accommodations and we loved ours. We could have stayed in the house all day, but, we did venture out to enjoy the town as well. Watching my parents interact with my teenage kids in the game room or simply sitting around the dining table or couches was priceless.

Perfect Ski Condo

My family said the house was gorgeous, very clean and very up-to-date. They loved the house, and they loved staying there. They loved the hot tub. The game room was a big plus. Two king bed rooms were perfect. The owners were very communicative and on top of anything that was not right. They would definitely stay there again. The washer and dryer were listed as amenities; however, my family learned that it was not available for users with only a 2 night stay (weekend). It would have been helpful to know that piece of information ahead of time.

Wonderful week in the Catskills!

We were very pleased with our stay at Catskill Getaway Home! The layout of the house and the amenities make for a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. There were 8 of us (4 couples, 2 generations of family) and the house worked well for a crowd of this size. Lots of games were played around the large dining room table; delicious meals were prepared in the well-stocked kitchen; the pool table, pinball machine, basketball court, hot tub, deck and fire pit were all enjoyed. Hiking and cycling around the nearby reservoir were favorite outdoor activities. We didn't manage to fit kayaking into the schedule; maybe next time! Phillip and Paula were very responsive and helpful. If we plan another trip to this area, we will definitely return to Catskill Getaway Home!
