VILLA VANESSA - COMO AREA

Villa Vanessa has been carefully restored and tastefully furnished in 2008. The villa is set in a beautiful garden that overlooks the lake and only walking distance to shops and restaurants. With only a few kilometres from the centre of Como and from Cernobbio and with a bus stop at only 150m, Villa Vanessa makes an ideal destination. From the villa's private dock, guests can use a rental boat or water-taxis to visit the charming villages of Lake Como as Menaggio, Bellagio and Tremezzo.

As with all lake shore villas, the road is located behind the rental: it is not the main lake Como road, but a local one. Although all the rooms except one face the lake the windows are provided with triple glass.

Villa Vanessa is a 600 square meters villa that develops over three floors and is set on a 2000 square meters property.

GROUND FLOOR
Here, we find a double living room with sofas, satellite TV and French doors opening onto the terrace with beautiful lake views; a spacious dining room with fireplace and French doors that also open onto the terrace; a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, espresso machine, fridge with ice-maker, microwave; a second kitchen equipped with Weber BBQ and 40 types of wine and champagne available for purchase (price tags on the bottles) and a separate refrigerator for beer; a bathroom with shower.

FIRST FLOOR
Taking the stairs from the ground floor, we find 4 queen bedrooms with lake views, one marble bathroom with Jacuzzi, one marble bathroom with bathtub, one large bathroom with double sinks, Jacuzzi claw foot tub and separate stall shower with steam and water massage, one bathroom with hydro massage shower. One extra single bedroom is available upon request and charged (please note that this is the 9th bedroom and is available on request only).

SECOND FLOOR (no lake view from this floor)
Here we find one large bedrooms with king sized bed (beds can't be separated) with adjoining single bed and wardrobe, three twin bedrooms (beds can't be joined), a large bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi bathtub and one other bathroom with shower.

In the basement area of the villa, we find a laundry room with washing machine and a wine cellar with wines for purchase as well as olive oil and salami. A tasting area with sofas is also available on this level.

Outside, we have the large garden with private swimming pool (10x4m; 1.5m deep), Jacuzzi with hydro massage system for 6 people, large terrace (750 sq ft), private dock, table tennis, parking for 3 cars.

Please NOTE: Guests with walking difficulties need to be aware that the parking area is not on the same level as the villa's entrance. The underpass has approximately 20 steps. Upon request, a single bed can be placed in the living room area; please note that the bathroom with shower at the ground floor is not wheelchair accessible.

One extra bed for the 17th person is available only on request at €300 per week, to be paid in cash on arrival and has to be confirmed.

Facilities: fully air conditioned, fireplace, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, BBQ, satellite TV, DVD and CD players, Wi-Fi Internet, bath towels changed on Wednesday and Saturdays, bed linen changed on Saturdays, gardener 5 days a week, 2 baby cots, heating (metered), telephone (metered), house cleaning 3 hours per day Monday to Saturday, cook service on request, 1 motor boat available on request for six people and can be driven without licence (charged).
