The location is convenient, nicely styled, and clean, though it is not a wheelchair-accessible space (bathrooms, kitchen). You can see the ocean from the window, but only if you lean out; it is not truly a "sea view" from inside. The kitchen supplies were sufficient (laundry pods, dishwasher tabs, soap, new sponge), but the bathroom amenities were limited. Having basic instructions for using the washing machine would have been helpful. If staying for more than a few days, request more toilet paper. There was body soap and hand soap, but no shampoo or conditioner, so plan accordingly. Airport transportation arranged through Portugal Portfolio was easy enough, and the drivers were timely and helpful. It would be helpful if the return-to-airport booking process were a little clearer. Our biggest issue was in communicating with the host. During our stay, the temperatures reached 39C (102F) with high humidity. With no A/C, it was stifling. They provided two fans, but one had a broken blade. I notified the host of this issue immediately after our arrival. It took from Thurs. afternoon to Sat. evening to get it fixed after messaging the host via text and the Vrbo app, with repeated support from Vrbo Cares. When new fans were delivered, they were not assembled, and we had no tools. Someone came to assemble the fans on the 3rd (of 5) evenings. It was frustrating to be ignored, uncomfortable, difficult to sleep, and a health hazard to be in such high temperatures without fans.
