Wish we had more time there!

Our stay was brief, we were here for a sporting event in a nearby town, but wanted a good view while we were here! Wish we would have been able to spend more time enjoying the lake view, but we unfortunately weren’t at the property much. King size bed in the master was very comfortable if you prefer a firm mattress! We would stay again.

Perfect Fall Getaway for Honeymoon

Stayed for a few days as part of our honeymoon. Great upgraded and spacious condo with beautiful view of the Lake. Check-in and check-out procedures were easy and contactless. Owners communicated all we needed to know about internet, cable, and community amenities, etc prior to arriving. Definitely would rent with them again!

Beautiful view!

Overall, a nice property. Beautiful view right on the lake. There were a few issues with doors not opening/closing properly. Also, the ceiling fan outside didn't seem to be working. Only one dishtowel. Would be nice if there was an extra. Hand soap bottles nee replacing.

Labor Day Lake trip

The condo was perfect. It had all the amenities we needed for a great stay on the lake. We kept our boat right in front and had easy access to everything. Definitely a do over soon.

Sweet Spot on Smith Mountain Lake

Exceeded my expectations! A lovely spot, in my opinion the best on the lake. Our abode was perfect-ground level overlooking the lake which was easy for my elderly Mom to navigate and we had a courtesy spot to dock our boat at night. We fell in love with Bernard’s Landing and our place. Hosts prepared us well and provided us with a great experience. We will return!

Weekend getaway

My husband and I went for a long weekend. House was very clean and nicely decorated. The view of the water was very nice and enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the boats go by. Excellent restaurant right in the resort. Owner very responsive .

Relaxing Visit

Condo is in a nice location with a good view of the lake. Inside condition was fine with only one exception; the twin mattresses. Getting into or out of the beds was extremely noisy, making it impossible to take a nighttime bathroom run without waking others. They definitely need to be replaced.

All mattresses in this condo have been replaced! No more squeaky twin mattresses and a upgraded KING mattress for the master bedroom. We also just had this condo and all our units freshly painted and updated for the 2022. season. Thanks for the feedback and for staying with us!

We live in Virginia, work hard during the year and wanted a place to go to get away from the daily grind. We hope to share a place other families can come to get away also!
