The Mews House is a unique, one bed apartment that is perfectly located. It is a charming home from home in a quiet neighbourhood within the city centre, situated on a quiet cobbled lane - only seven mins walk from Princes St. There is a double bedroom, en-suite shower room, sitting area, dining area and fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, microwave cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher.. On a warmer evening you can also sit on your own patio amongst the flowers and join the locals who do the same!

Top quality accommodation with furnishings and linens of a high standard, in an excellent location. The apartment has been thoughtfully designed with everything you need for your stay. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, the shower was hot and the towels fluffy. Jennifer is an excellent communicator and hostess. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fabulous space quiet neighborhood

The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood. Great location for our tour meet ups. Jen checked on us regularly. This renovated mews is definitely the place to stay while you’re in Edinburgh.

Wonderful Stay in Edinburgh

Loved our stay at the Mews house in Edinburgh. Surrounded by cobblestone streets and lovely Georgian style architecture, this little apartment is in a quiet spot about 15 minutes walk from the center of town; 25 minutes from the castle. Jennifer was great with the communication. Highly recommend the Mews.

Great location for us (a retired couple who enjoy walking); we had a rental car and Jen went out of her way to show us free street parking ca. 20-minute walk away; Jen drove us back when we left the car (thanks again Jen!). Quiet oasis away from the crowds, but an easy walk to everything. The space is small but efficient ... it had everything we needed. Will happily return again.

This Mews Cottage is beautiful. It has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The welcome hamper was much appreciated as were the toiletries in the bathroom.

What can I say about the mews? So very much! It was very clean and comfortable. The water pressure was amazing with nice hot water. The towels were big, fluffy and absorbent. You don’t find towels like that in a hotel! The bed linens were cozy, I love good bed linens. The location is great! Very easy to get to wherever you need to go by walking or bus. The area is just beautiful, I could have sat on the patio the whole trip and enjoyed it. While we didn't get to meet Jen, she was easy to contact and very friendly, very accommodating too. Everything about the mews was wonderful, I highly recommend it and would most definitely stay here again!

Cute Little Cottage a short walk from The Royal Mile

This is a nice little place with only a 15 or 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile. If you would rather, it is an even shorter walk to the bus stop. The cottage had everything we needed including a washer for our laundry. Our host, Jen, met us when we checked in and explained everything we needed to know, including where to park the rental car. Note: you can't park at the cottage but free parking is a little walk away. We were close to everything we wanted to do!

What an amazing time I had at The Mews! For 30 days I felt so well cared for. Jennifer was easily available and immediately responsive. The Mews is central with a quiet location. The property offers a unique experience with ease and great comfort. I am rather picky when it comes to linens and pillows, particularly for a month long stay. Everything was top notch. The kitchen was well supplied and laundry easy to use. I did not rent a car, but walked most places. Multiple grocery stores were within 0.5 miles. Coffee, restaurants, bus stop, Waters of Leith trail were all close and site seeing was super easy. I loved being at The Mews and hope to return again and again and again and...Thank you Jennifer for creating such a magical place. While I'm grateful to be home in the U.S., a piece of my heart (and my rest) remains in your little corner of the globe.
