Jason's review

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Miguel. The comfortable sun beds were a stand out and the A/C was very welcome. It was also a good base for exploring local attractions and enjoying a morning walk along the cliffs

Lovely villa- great place to be for a family holiday. The pool was great and it was nice to be in a quiet estate. Being close to lovely hikes and a secluded hidden beach was great. Also it is walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Fantastic location

This was a great location, so close to the beach, there is a little park and a communal pool which is brilliant. We had a few teething issues with WiFi but elite were very quick and responsive in resolving. Overall it was a great house snd we loved our stay

Thank you, Katharine. We had a wonderful stay at Casa Miguel! The communal swimming pool was very popular with our children, as was the play area in front of the house. With a pushchair, the nearby beach was not accessible to us because of the steps, but we had rented a car to get around. Everything went very well at Casa Miguel. One possible regret: the kitchen being upstairs, which limited our outdoor meals (the ground floor terrace was indeed more pleasant than the one upstairs). Thank you for a great stay, and I look forward to seeing you again in the Algarve!

Emma rated their stay

Great villa. Fantastic to have a private pool (no one seemed to be using the communal pool). Was very quiet enclave of villas, and one of the loveliest beaches we have been to was less than a 10 min walk through a cave. Communication was excellent - especially when we locked ourselves out. Would highly recommend

Sandrine rated their stay

We stayed here one week and had a lovely time. We felt right at home and the area was really quiet. The location is fantastic, a few minute walk to one of the best beaches around. We were pleasantly surprised to find a few essentials in the house when we arrived such as butter, jam, milk, eggs and chips. There was a small playground for kids and while we had a private pool, we enjoyed taking our kid to the communal pool too. I would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Miguel and the villa had everything we needed travelling as a family with teenagers. The kitchen was well equipped, and we arrived to a few groceries to get us started, which was an nice surprise. The outdoor space was great (see views from the first floor) and had a good mixture of shaded seating areas and loungers by the pool-side. The highlights were definitely the pool and the proximity to Praia de Carvalho!

The home is in a good location, safe and easy to find

The home is in a good location, safe and easy to find. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The living room furniture was a bit dated but comfortable. Nice pool and great views from the upper floor. Access to Seven Hanging Valleys trail is very close. We made good use of the washing machine and because of the climate, our clothes dried quickly outside. There are 4 restaurants within 5 min drive (would highly recommend La Bella Vita, Lighthouse Bar and Grill and Restaurante Jardim do Farol) as well as a small grocery store.

Ronan-s review

Extremely well located near the beach in a "private" neighborhood. Very quiet. Attention, on the other hand the shops are at least 8/10 minutes by car. Accommodation with bedrooms on the ground floor and kitchen and living room upstairs. The pool is cleaned every 3 days! great.

Allison's review

Casa Miguel was the perfect home away from home for our family vacation in the Algarve! The home was beautiful, the pool was pristine, and the neighborhood was quiet and incredibly charming. We were four adults traveling with a four year old and a ten month old, and loved being a ten minute walk to the most beautiful beach in the Algarve, and in a quiet neighborhood that is a five minute walk to some of the best views on the seven hanging valleys trail. We did not want to leave, and will definitely be returning to this very special place in the Algarve!! Also, Katharine was super responsive and answered all of our questions quickly, which was incredibly helpful!

Benoit's review

We spent a very nice week with the family (5 persons) in a beautiful environment and a superb house. Everything was as we expected, as described and as pictures provided. We really enjoy this quiet place (at least during the period we have been there which was not high season), view on the ocean from the terrasse (perfect for a pretty breakfastlunch), safety barrier for the pool, 5 minutes walk from a small beach where we were swimming in the sea (really nice place !). The property was very clean, the equipment available on site was also more than comfortable... In brief, we highly recommend the place and we will not hesitate to come back. Thanks a lot for this breathly holydays and we hope to be back there soon !
