Oldbury is a charming 2-bedroom apartment located at the border of Christ Church and St. Philip, offering a tranquil garden and a cosy terrace to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our fully air-conditioned accommodation is just 2.9 km from Foul Bay Beach, and we offer private parking with the added benefit of complimentary car usage (Terms apply).

About the Apartment
This spacious apartment features two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. You’ll have everything you need for a relaxing stay, including a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, and coffee machine, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning to keep you cool. The apartment is perfect for couples, families, or friends looking to unwind.

Located just 1 km (5 minutes by car) from Grantley Adams International Airport, Oldbury is a convenient yet peaceful retreat. Whether you're here for business, adventure, or a beach getaway, you'll find that our apartment is the perfect place to come home after a busy day.

Enjoy Your Stay
Our self-catering apartment comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including high-speed internet, a flat-screen TV in both the living room and master bedroom, and air-conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans. The open-plan kitchen and living room are breezy and inviting, with French doors that open onto your private balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances you need, including a fridge, stove, toaster, coffee machine, and microwave oven.

Relax and Unwind
Take time to enjoy the tranquil garden or relax on the private balcony while watching the sunrise or sunset. We also provide a dedicated smoking area on the front patio garden for those who smoke. For added convenience, there’s a laundry area with a washer.

Car Usage (Terms)
For your convenience, we offer complimentary car usage for stays of 5 days or more. A car deposit of USD 350 is required (separate from any other deposits), and it will be refunded after the car is returned in good condition. If you're planning to stay for less than 5 days, please feel free to reach out to us for more details.

Safety and Cleanliness
Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We take extra care to clean and sanitize all frequently touched surfaces between reservations, so you can relax knowing that you’re in a safe and clean environment.

Housekeeping
A cleaning fee of $60 per clean is charged, and an obligatory clean is required once per week, including a change of bed linens and bath & beach towels. Airbnb covers the cost of one housekeeping service for stays of one week or longer. If you're staying longer than a week, additional housekeeping services can be arranged, and payment for those services is due at check-in.

Other Important Details
•⁠ ⁠A 10% accommodation levy is required by the Barbados government, and this will be added to your accommodation charges (payable in cash at check-in).
•⁠ ⁠Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving the apartment to prevent rain from entering.
•⁠ ⁠For safety reasons, no open flames, candles, or incense are allowed on the property.
•⁠ ⁠The apartment and balcony are not suitable for storing surfboards or bicycles – please use the garden area instead.
•⁠ ⁠We ask that guests respect quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure everyone has a peaceful stay.

Beautiful and clean home. Had just about everything I needed. The address provided made it difficult to locate the property initially. However, the owner was extremely kind and helpful—offering additional directions and even taking the time to FaceTime with me to ensure I found the correct location. I truly appreciated their support and responsiveness. For future guests, it may be helpful to provide a more precise or detailed address to make arrival smoother and allow for greater self-sufficiency. That was the only minor drawback of an otherwise positive stay. Would book again, thank you Brian!

The host appeared welcoming. The amenities were definitely lacking. Most places I’ve booked, provided welcoming packages that would contain coffee and condiments. Not in this case. There were no paper towels or toilet paper. We were advised that our local contact would be a gentleman who hasn’t worked for the host in months. There are a number of plumbing issues which only allows one fully functioning shower. The photo on the site is not an accurate depiction. On the plus side, the home is very clean and sensibly decorated. The midweek linen change is non existent as well as the exterior patio area. It is however close to transportation.

When we arrived it smelt very clean as if someone just left from cleaning, as the week went on we started to smell sewage, due to the main bath room toilet leaking all over the floor. There was no toilet paper when we arrived which was not cool after travelling all day. We then realized there was no bags for garbage, no dish soap, no body soap as discribed in the listing. We had to go buy everything. Communication with Brian good and he responded in good time. He did supplement us for everything we had to buy with $25 CAD even though the basic necessities where much higher due to very high costs of everything in Barbados. The front bedroom was very loud do to the main road being right there so we ended up putting the queen mattress on the two twins and slept in the back room. Not comfortable at all but at least it was quiet and then could get some sleep. Great place if you want to be close to airport, only 5 mins away. Car was nice to have to drive around the island, however it definitely needs some work. Front bumper is taped on and kept coming off causing scrapping on the road. Its in rough shape. Not sure I would recommend this place unless you don't care about traffic noise and are only there to sleep, bring ear plugs.

Stressful experience, stay away.

Brian took a deposit for the car which now two days after leaving I'm still waiting to hear back about, it would seem that this 350USD deposit I paid for the car isn't being returned, so the car is not free and I feel like I've been scammed 350USD. The car was given to us with a flat tire, the owner did not initially agree to repair it and wanted us to pay for it. They eventually did agree to repair the tire. The place itself needs a good refresh it’s quite worn, pots and pans are old and flaking into our food. The washing machine had several issues during the trip, we had to deal with organizing the repair people to come, despite two trips to the apartment, it still wasn't working when we lift. The primary bedroom is next to a busy highway and I was awoken many times a night by the loud traffic going by. Overall the issues with the apartment made for a stressful experience for us on what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday, I don't recommend this vacation property.
