Sunrise Casita at Hudson Bend Ranch - Wedding, Event, Retreat, and Vacations

Sunrise Casita is a 600 sq ft private studio-style guest house with two queen beds, one full bath, and kitchenette. It is private, safe, and quiet, and offers access to all of the shared outdoor space of Hudson Bend Ranch.

Bathed in sunlight at sunrise, the Sunrise Casita porch is a great place to start your morning drinking coffee, watching the wild birds, and even encounter our family of deer on the ranch. The porch has vintage lawn chairs, a Weber gas grill, fire pit, and picnic table.

Hudson Bend Ranch can best be described as a cross between a Texas Ranch and Austin Botanical Gardens with influence by Lady Bird Johnson. We are the perfect home base to enjoy the Lake Travis area with friends and family!

We are five gated acres on the Hudson Bend peninsula surrounded by Lake Travis. We have a 3500 sq ft ranch-themed home, a private guest house, two vintage airstreams, and a barn apartment.

We are group-friendly and cater to weddings, reunions, retreats, parties, and any other gatherings seeking a safe, private place with ample parking and room to social distance.

Outdoor living is huge at Hudson Bend Ranch. Koi pond, wind chimes, a covered porch, winding paths, a pergola, blooming perennials, songbirds, cedar furniture, and 200 year-old Live Oaks make the courtyard a magical retreat.

We strive to only use non-toxic cleaning compounds, scent-free bath and laundry soaps, and hypoallergenic house filters. The floors are 100% stained concrete (no carpet) and are mopped frequently.

We love pets! Feel free to bring your dogs and cats with you - we are very pet-friendly.

The Sunrise Casita courtyard and parking are dedicated to you and consist of the areas in front. You should not encounter other guests. If you wish to walk around the property, that’s fine, just please respect the privacy of other guests.

Please do not use the main house courtyard which sits behind Sunrise Casita. It is private to guests staying there.
