Cottage review

Cottage was lovely, location good but parking not great met with hostile neighbours one sat on our car. Love Chippy, good pubs and lovely food.

Relaxing stay

Great location, pubs and shops within easy walking distance. Cozy property on a pretty street with well equipped kitchen. Beds very comfortable.

Lovely place to stay

The Snug is beautifully presented and in a great location. Several pubs only a few minutes walk away that serve lovely food. The hot tub was a welcome addition after walking all day. The only slight downside is that the on street parking was quite often full up which meant having to park in one of the town carparks. Not ideal when you have bags to carry or its raining.

Brilliant stay, well looked after!

We had a lovely stay and everything was really clean and modern. The hot tub was a win for the kids and it was in a really good location. Kevin looked after us after a mix up over beds, great customer service. Try the Chequers for an excellent roast

A great little house for a stay

A very comfortable house, lovely and clean and everything we needed. The only problem we had was that the WiFi kept dropping out and we struggled to watch the tv. We didn’t see that as a huge issue though and would definitely recommend this property.

Girlie weekend at The Snug

The snug was a cosy cottage , excellent location with a wonderful hot tub in the garden. Location was so good close to cafes , pubs and restaurants and not far from other quaint villages and popular attractions. If you have young children or elderly you have to be mindful of the steep stairs up to the bedroom. We felt it also lacked the essentials such as condiments, kitchen paper and maybe a bottle of water or something in the fridge. Also if you arrived late be mindful of the parking. We had two cars and arrived after 5 o clock and the parking on the road was not ideal. We had to sit in our cars and wait for others to leave as there were double yellow lines on the road.. Considering it’s a quiet location the road was busier than we expected. As 3 women on a girls weekend it was ideal for us as we were winding down and enjoying the location and the hot tub. We would recommend The Snug as we all had a good relaxing time.
