We had an absolutely wonderful time. The condo was fantastic. Clean. Well organized. Nice view. Sat on the lanai every morning and watch the waves. Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely fantastic

We could not have had a better stay for our month in Honolulu. The unit was newly renovated, thoughtfully and completely stocked, had a surprising amount of storage space, and partial views of the ocean, Diamond Head and the mountains. Convenient to everything in Waikiki. It was such a pleasant place to come home to and we even managed to do our remote work comfortably. Highly recommended!

Family Vacation from Los Angeles

This place was beautiful and had all the amenities. Just wasn't informed that the pool would be unavailable during our stay due to construction. Also cable tv in bedroom did not work and wasn't available until the last few days of our vacation. Beds are very comfortable and family had a great time.

Amazing Unit

We have stayed on Oahu many times and this was my favorite to date. We usually prefer Maui but this stay made me think this might be my new spot. The unit was super clean and bright and centrally located to everything. It was surprisingly nice to be away from the main strip where it's always noisy and crowded yet could get there on a quick walk. This surprised me because we normally do stay right on the beach and I was concerned I may not enjoy this as much. Wrong! The lanai has beautiful views of the mountains to the left, Diamond head straight on and the ocean to the right. The garage with no parking fee was a huge bonus and the pool and rooftop desk while simple, were pretty perfect. The kitchen was adequately stocked and great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. I really can't say enough good things about the property and this unit in particular. Will definitely be back!

Not a great experience

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is not nearly as nice as it appears in these photos. Does not meet the High Standard I have come to expect from Captain Cook. I thought perhaps all condos in this building were this poorly maintained, but after seeing 2 other units I was even more disappointed. For two months rental, at the same price as the nice units, we were frustrated.

Bathroom door could not be closed account previous renters must of flooded floor and it sucked up into door and door now needs to be replaced. Kitchen stove fan does not work. Kitchen window will not close. Other than that it was a good holiday and the location is perfect. Property manager came and saw the problems. Lots of beach chairs and other beach equipment. Oh also one chair is quite unsafe to use in dining room.

The unit is clean, updated, bright, AC, comfy bed, quiet and central location and parking. We also appreciated the personal touch of being welcomed at the unit, shown around and and asked if we needed anything to make our stay great. The gentleman that met us was so kind and helpful. I would stay in this unit again in a heart beat and probably will again this fall if it's available.

Highly recommend this accomodation. only 5 mins walk to the beach and to international market place! spacious, clean, good bed. not much people using the pool which was good for privacy!

Just like the photos

We spent a week in September. Byron was easy to deal with and the condo was just lie the pictures. A couple of small things needed fixing (balcony door handle and bedroom window) and the repairs were arranged promptly. Would happily stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 2 blocks from the beach with reasonable views. Nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella and boogie boards to use. Also great to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. There was 3 of use so the lay out with the bathroom seperate to the main bedroom was also a plus. The main entrance to the units was a bit dated and the pool area was bare and a bland so we did not use it much. It was the end of the summer season so the unit as a whole (especially the bathroom) could have done with a good scrub! Over all we had a great stay.

Reviewer Comments: 3回目の滞在です。バイロンさんとのチェックインもスムーズに出来ました。床も綺麗にリノベーションされていました、ラナイのテーブルも新しくなっていて、キッチンも綺麗に掃除がされておりまして、滞在中は気持ちよく過ごせました。クヒオ通りにもすぐ出られますし、お部屋からの眺めも最高でした。ひとつだけ、火災報知器が誤報で2回鳴りました、パトカー、消防車が出動し、不安になりました。誤報で良かったです。また、次回もお世話になります。

April 2019 Stay

Overall the experience was great. There was a few things we noticed that didn’t seem to be too awful. When we arrive we were allowed early access to the rental. Which was nice sense we had a good 2 hours before we were scheduled for allowed entry. Pretty location, easy walk to beach, shops, restaurants, and more. The interior was nice and had all you need. The bedroom DVR for the cable wasn’t working, so no late night watching tv for us. Dusting wasn’t done. But yet again we were allowed early entry. The view from the patio was beautiful. If we were to go back we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for our family trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived in travel crisis and the team we worked with were quick to respond, kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to get us into our room and make our stay perfect. The room was equipped with everything we need and more. Cleanliness is incredibly important to me and we could not find the slightest sign of visitors before us, it was impeccable. The amenities were well cared for and the location was perfect walking distance from our favorite beaches and restaurants. We hope to stay again someday and will recommend it in the future!

A mixed bag of good and not so good.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a mixed experience in this property. On the positive side the apartment was clean and well located just off Kuhio. The main bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. On the not so positive side the apartment is looking a little more drab than the photos (laminate floors and furniture looking old), we had a few issues in the apartment with the WIFI and one of the TVs not working as well as electricity points in the bathroom not working and were not able to reach our consultant for support. Eventually I contacted Captain Cook Resorts via email (there was no telephone option for current guests other than our consultant who we couldn’t reach). Once we were in contact they immediately addressed all the issues they could. We also had a day where building maintenance was carried out and the water was shut off. Signage in the elevator stated from 9-10.30am. This was then extended to the full day which was very inconvenient but not really in control of Captain Cook Resorts. The main living area is full of light which is nice but makes it hard to watch the tv and the kids could not sleep once the sun rose as they were sleeping on the fold away beds. This could easily be fixed with some heavier drapes to block the light when required (the main bedroom had these). Otherwise we had a reasonable stay.

All of our Property Managers do their best to be available but sometimes circumstances can be unpredictable. Our office and reservations phone numbers are on all correspondence that we send out regarding guest reservations and confirmation. We are glad that once addressed these issues were resolved during your stay. We are sorry for any inconvenience and understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t turn out as planned. Fantastic rental property

Beautiful clean apartment .Loved the openness and also the privacy of the bedroom , with the option to close the doors was a bonus . The fold a way beds were comfortable as was the bed in the main bedroom ....luxury at its best .The condo had a well stocked kitchen ,including a washer/ direr as a bonus !Aircon in lounge and bedroom worked well .Close to all of the shops ,bars,restaurants,beach and transport .Only issue we had was the Internet ,kept dropping out .Management were quick to respond , to solve the problem. Would recommend,but suggest you get a US SIM card as Internet ,not always reliable .4
