Cozy home away from home

Went to Costa Rica for our baby moon! I am 7 months pregnant and absolutely loved this spot. It was quiet, clean and cozy! Just far enough from town to get away from the crowds and still enjoy a nice stroll into town when we needed. Great views from the master bedroom porch! The pool was always clean and hardly ever busy. The guards were very friendly as well!

Great place to stay

Property is in a nice location with a pool bbq area that is kept very clean. We did have an issue with the microwave not working and did not have it resolved before we left. But other then that a great place to stay.

Great beach - nice apartment

The condo had everything we needed. Small kitchen, great balconies, towels, but the linens and beds overall were stiff and hard. This unit is not updated which we knew, but nicer linens would really help. Beach access is a short walk. The front gate guard was lovely and very helpful. It is directly Nextdoor to the Langosta bistro and a short walk to a pizza and pasta restaurant and a market.

Great place!

We were doing a tour of Costa Rica, and Tamarindo was our last stop. Check in was a breeze, the front gate man had the keys ready for us. The condo was clean, and everything worked great. The only issue we had was one night one of the air conditioners stopped working; a quick google search told us that for that model to flip the circuit breaker for 30 seconds and reboot. After that we had no issues at all. Restaurants and small grocery stores are within a 4 minute walk of the location making it easy to just relax. Great place!!

Nice, but smelled like smoke & tub didn't work

We picked this place as an extension to a weekend trip with friends. We were drawn to the location, price, and amenities. But when we got there, the condo smelled like stale cigarette smoke and the big hot tub featured in the photos didn't work! For what we paid each night, those two things are deal breakers for returning to this property in the future. Customer service was good. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.

Great quiet location across street from a beach

We stayed here for a week with our two young children and 4 adults (2 parents, 2 grandparents). Great quiet location, away from busy main streets of Tamarindo - we rented a golf cart and relied on this for any trips to Tamarindo (although you could walk 15mins - not as possible with two little kids or in hot sun!). Loved being able to walk across the street to the beach for sunset and some morning walks (not swimmable due to ++ rocks and riptides). Great pool and hot tub and quiet building — seemed to be mostly owners or long term renters. Great wifi, loved having 2 balconies. Very clean, safe (with friendly security guards), all as advertised. Only minor issues were dishwasher that didn’t work (sent repair person after a few attempts or contact manager but still didn’t work for us) and a very sparsely stocked kitchen - no working scissors, only one kitchen towel, few utensils. We cooked most meals here and ate on balcony which worked very well.

Great location and condo. Some problems.

Naxos is a very nice condo in Playa Langosta. When we arrived we found that there was no coffee maker. We contacted the Manager and they had one brought in within a day. Two days later when we tried to run the dishwasher we noted it did not work. We immediately contacted the Manager who asked if we would like it repaired during our stay . We said yes. No one came despite us contacting the Manager again. For our 14 day vacation we had to wash each dish, cup, knife, fork etc by hand. When looking at the amenties before booking we knew there was a DW and that was important to us because we do most of our own cooking in the unit. So that was disappointing. As far as cleanliness goes, at first glance it all appeared clean. It was only when you started opening things up that you noticed the cleaning was surface only. My wife had to give the entire kitchen and cupboard handles all a good clean before we felt comfortable using it. This is a very good spacious unit in a beautiful building in a great location. Hopefully some upgrades will be done and more attention to a good clean between guests. That would make all the difference.

Great place outside of Tamarindo

The condo was really nice and the pool was fun for the kids. It’s quiet, and a short walk from the town. We were a little confused when the check out time was, the email said 10:00am and the book in the condo said 11:00am. I asked the manager and he said 11:00am, but the cleaners where there at 10:00am waiting for us to leave.

Great Spot!!!

We loved this condo! Great location! Just far enough out of the hustle of Tamarindo, but close enough to be there when you want. Clean and stocked with all you need. Beautiful views from the back deck! Washer and dryer were great and nice safe parking! Security guards are very nice! We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for a great quick couple nights!

Great stay at Naxos 15

Naxos 15 in the Playa Langosta neighborhood just south of Tamarindo is exactly as advertised in its listing. The unit has a spacious open concept and is fully equipped with a washer/dryer and complimentary detergent, kitchen appliances and utensils. Nice firm beds and high quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap provided by the management company, Vacasa. The Naxos condominium building is exceptionally well-maintained and all the staff is friendly and helpful. Very nice pool that isn't at all crowded. It is well worth the 10 minute walk south to the pristine swimming beach in the Las Baulas national park. The beach across the street from Naxos isn't swimmable, but is beautiful, fun to walk, and is an excellent spot for watching sunsets. It's an easy 10 minute walk north to Tamarindo's long and very swimmable beach, and not far beyond that to Tamarindo town center. Golf carts are available for rent nearby if you don't want to walk. Golf carts, ATVs, and cars share the road between Tamarindo and Playa Langosta. A special shoutout to Walter's Fish & Cheeses, an Italian cafe and deli down the street. Great for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend the Tamarindo area, and specifically, Naxos 15 and the quiet, lovely Playa Langosta neighborhood.

Great Location and very safe!

We loved being able to walk from the condo to the beach. The gate makes you feel safe and the guard there is very friendly. The complex sits on a round circle that is great for a run, doing like 4 laps a morning etc... There are monkeys hanging in the trees just outside and it is very pretty. The home is very comfortable and the balconies have beautiful views of the sunsets and scenery.

Happy with our stay

The customer service was top notch! Any questions I had were promptly answered and dealt with. We really enjoyed our 14 might stay, it was comfortable and easy and location was great! If I could make any suggestions it would be a refresh of the kitchen items. There were some things missing that would have made cooking easier.... baking sheets etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place

This property was the perfect place for my group. We wanted a kitchen and this one was complete with everything we needed. It had a beautiful pool and was safe and secure. It was only a five minute walk to a quiet spot on the beach but only a 15 minute walk to “downtown” Tamarindo. We loved being next to Tamarindo, within walking distance yet far enough away to have a quiet experience when we wanted. Loved having two balconies on either side of the apartment that was an added nice touch.

Great stay in Langosta!

I loved this location. About a 5 minute drive from the Tamarindo town center or a 15 to 20 minute walk. The staff was very welcoming and the building is very secure. The unit was spacious with great balcony views. Our contact person was responsive to the few requests and notations we expressed about the unit. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Great place. Great location!

This property was clean, a great location from beach, excursions, and nightlife. It was more than we expected. We were looking for a quick getaway and staying at nexos was the icing on the cake.

A clean and decent property but expect just the basics

I expected more amenities as we have experienced in other properties. The unit was clean and large enough for our party of 4 and an ideal location away from the hustle of Tamarindo but a short walk for dinner and nightlife
