Check in was good. Arrived at the home. Bottom floor was a/c cool. Couldn't sleep in any of the rooms upstairs. Wasn't able to sleep in the master bedroom as of all the rooms upstairs and bathrooms had the heater on. It was more hotter up stairs than outside Phoenix weather. My husband and I had to sleep on the couches downstairs. Text the host and didn't get an answer back till the next day. She provided owner's phone number was told Owner was to call me in the morning. Never got a call back. I reached out to the owner. Her maintenance people didn't get there till about 12hrs later and confirmed the heater was stuck on up stairs. They offered another hidden studio within the house with a full size bedroom. Room was very nice and cold. Once my stay was over I reached out to the host to see if I can at least get a credit for the first night since we didnt get to use the master bedroom. Her offer was very low and she would only credit me after I leave a positive review. That to me is very unfair, unprofessional and disrespectful. So with that said, the pool was very dirty, very poor back lighting. I don't like to give negative reviews but with bad my experience I had to share. By the way, a repair ac company was to show up as well and they never did. For the rest of our wknd, we slept in that studio on a full size bed. Washed the cups we used and even took the trash out before we checked out on Monday. I will not come back to this rental.If greed is better keep refund.

Laura What a disappointing review and far twist from the truth. I the owner had offered you a refund, you had been first stay of season, the pool had been acid washed, drained and cleaned freshly filled and serviced. AC had been tuned for the season, but we are all human and errors happen. AC has since been fixed 50% refund on your first night stay I believe is reasonable. You checked in at 10pm impossible to get team out at that time, we worked swiftly to get matters resolved within our capability. All rooms also have fans

The reason for the lower ratings is because of the following issues:- The host sent me a message the day before saying that no parties can take place. I found this odd and kind of irritating since they didn’t send any other info than that message. Like I’m going have a party in their home. Smh. - The listing said they would send the key code 3 days before but I had to message the host 3 times to ask for it including 15 minutes before checkin time which I didn’t particularly care for. - The home is rather outdated and feels well lived in. The owners seem like they either live there or moved and kept all the old furniture. It has a very lived in feel. While it was fairly clean it just wasn’t what I was expecting. - The pool was very dirty and I didn’t even use it because of The condition. I don’t want to sound too picky so overall it wasn’t bad for the price just a few things to point out.

Ron, I appreciate your feedback and take on board all comments made. Firstly let me apologize, it is never my intention to cause bad feelings The question about the parties or illegal gathering was raised by the platform AI( not sure why), but for insurance and platform protection I'm required to confirm, this with you before checkout-in. Re access details this is always provided on the day and within 1 HR of your check-in reason being one of safety..the codes are changed periodically and ensure security, or in the event of a violation, so impossible to know the code until the day. The code is not given until check-in as we have had bad experience from guests who obtain code cancel reservation and use facilities unfortunately guest like this exist and spoil it for everyone, another reason for the late code release is to provide time for the change over crew to get the place ready without the pressure of guests walking in during a clean. I will double check information on platform and ensure this is corrected. Ron you are correct this is my family holiday home,but our personal belongings are sorted away. More of a reason to know the property would be taken care of. We do get a lot of traffic with guest and therefore have a small window to do maintenance and for a home of this size is is endless. The property has just had new low E windows installed, new AC, new top of the range Pool system on the market, installed new security doors, I could keep listening,
