Easy walk to the beach

A fantastic location if you want a straightforward walk to the beach. Pleasant garden to sit in and listen to the birdsong. Clean and comfortable throughout. Our second visit here.

Two minutes from a dog friendly beach

A clean and cosy bungalow in a very peaceful location about two minutes walk from the beach. The bungalow has a secure garden and is very dog friendly. There are lots of walks from the door and a very friendly dog cafe (Watsons) on the coast road heading towards Paston.

What a lovely review, thank you so much. Really pleased you enjoyed your time so close to the sea at Stone's Throw. As well as Watsons there is Cafe Carmel and the Kingfisher Cafe. We are so lucky to have them such an easy walk away and so dog friendly.

Lovely location, amazing accommodation, wonderful walks, beautiful beaches and amenities.

Stones Throw is a very clean and comfortable bungalow in a quiet location. The bungalow has a secure garden and is very dog friendly. It’s a short walk to a beautiful beach which was fantastic for our young and energetic dog. Bacton Woods and Pigneys Woods are not far away and perfect for walking during the hot weather. Local cafes, shop, pub, two fish and chip shops and a Chinese takeaway in walking distance. We really enjoyed our visit to North Norfolk very much and would love to return again. After reading lots of reviews we can definitely confirm that East Rushton Cottages delivered on our expectations.

Fantastic location for beach

The bungalow was really nice, very clean and with comfy beds. The beach is only a short walk away, and there was always beach there even at high tide. The dogs really loved it. Lovely walks in the area , Bacton Woods and the Weavers Way being two of them.

Immaculately clean & dog friendly too!

We loved our short break at Stones Throw with ERC. The bungalow was immaculately clean and smelt very fresh. Dog friendly but not at all “doggy”. Comfortable beds and sofas, completely secure back garden, and a very short walk to the best sandy beach which we mostly had to ourselves despite the amazing weather! Local cafes, a shop and 2 pubs within walking distance and not far from Cromer / Sheringham and North Walsham for more facilities. Highly recommend this lovely place to stay - one of our new favourites!

Just perfect

We had a great stay at stones throw and would highly recommend. Short walk to the beach tucked away in a quiet little cul da sac with everything you need to satisfy your holiday. The whole property was pristine and the garden fully enclosed well maintained for the 4 dogs to enjoy. ERC cottages are simply the best this is our 4th cottage rental as it's great for all human and fur babies needs we wouldn't use any other properties as the quality is superb and communication is prompt and efficient. Well done ERC you knock every other company out of the park

What a fabulous review of our much loved Stone's Throw. We really appreciate you taking the time to make such lovely comments and for coming back to us for your dogs' holidays! I went to pick up the dog buggy and crate that we provided and saw the cleaner doing the changeover after your stay and she was delighted with how clean and tidy you left it, so a big thank you for that too!

Excellent Stay

Stone's Throw is a lovely, well equipped, well decorated bungalow situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Bacton. There is adequate parking in front of the property. The garden is secure for dogs. We were confident when letting our dogs out that there was no way of escaping, especially as one of our dogs is Houdini where escape opportunities exist. The property is warm, serviced by a combi boiler, so there's always lots of hot water. The kitchen is on the smaller side, however, we managed quite well when preparing meals. The beds are comfy and I had the best nights sleep in a long time. The bathroom has a lovely power shower over the bath which is not ideal for me physically, however, there is a grab handle to make it easier to get in and out of the bath, so I didn't have an issue. The beach is a leisurely ten minutes walk away on the flat. There is a ramp down onto the beach and when the tide is out, the beach is quite expansive. If the tide is in, most of the beach disappears, however, there is a walk along the dunes. Stone's Throw is ideally situated to visit some lovely places in north Norfolk. I would highly recommend Stone's Throw.

Spotlessly clean home with easy beach access minutes from the door

Stone's Throw is positioned in a quiet cul-de-sac set just far enough back from the beach to avoid the strongest winds but near enough for a level walk round. The access to the sand is down a short wooden ramp which was perfect for our 3 small dogs who enjoyed daily walks along the golden sand stretching in both directions.The modern bungalow was immaculately clean and well equipped with a small and pretty totally secure back garden. The bonus space in the sun trap conservatory gave us ample opportunity to relax. The perfect base to explore the Norfolk coast and countryside by car or stay put and enjoy the walkable facilities nearby. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
