Magnifique maison de ville à quelques minutes de la plage! Cette maison de 2 chambres, 2, 5 salles de bains est située à Lost Key Golf & Beach Club avec de nombreux équipements. Profitez de l'accÚs au club de plage privé avec un restaurant à service complet, une piscine et un service de salon sur la plage. Vous aurez également accÚs à la piscine privée, au centre de remise en forme et aux courts de tennis, qui ne sont qu'à quelques pas. Toutes les chambres ont une télévision Sling et les deux chambres disposent d'une salle de bain privée. Il y a aussi un lit escamotable queen dans le salon. To begin, it’s important to note that the owner of this unit was kind & communicated with us when I reached out about our experience/troubles in the moments, but this community was so poorly ran during our time here that I wish the owner would do more to make right what we experienced. I’ve been told this is a rarity with this property & community but as a loyal lifetime beach-goer of over 25+ years to the gulf coast, this is hands down the worst experience I’ve had. I do wish the owner would’ve offered to reimburse us for beach service because we had to be our OWN beach service for 2/3 days of our trip. Day 1: After waiting on the shuttle that was advertised yet never ran that day, when we finally arrived to the beach in the 10am hour, there were no beach service workers. We had to, along with all other guests, drag our own big beach loungers from back by the dunes & place our umbrellas ourselves. As three young women, this was NOT ideal, particularly since we paid for this service. Day 2: Beach service never showed because of “weather.” There were showers & storms around the area, but never did it rain until after 3pm that day & EVERY other facility around us had their beach service, but not us. Again, a day I feel I should’ve been compensated for since I didn’t have advertised beach service. Day 3: Beach service was out but with a handwritten sign asking we stack our own loungers for them. Also, we would not have booked here had the shuttle not been advertised. Day 1 of no shuttle ruined us on trusting it, so we drove & got sand all in our vehicle in order to park in the public beach lot next door to the beach club; although I did see it running on days 2 & 3, I’m still unclear on its run hours. It seemed that we & all other guests on the beach stayed confused & baffled on the shuttle & beach service frustrations. I’ve never stayed off of the beachfront options, but loved how this was advertised & seemed perfect since we would be dropped right off, emulating a beachfront type of option essentially. I just feel that we were misguided. Again, the owner was kind to us in the moments. When we arrived, our upstairs air was not working properly. I appreciated that she was prompt on that matter. Also, I can tell she took pride in the unit itself & it was very clean & beautiful. All in all, we won’t be back to Lost Key because these experiences just muddied what was advertised as a wonderful place to stay overall.

Nice, Pet Friendly Townhouse

We enjoy traveling with our dogs and this property accommodated that need. The home is comfortable, and the owners were responsive to our calls and text messages. Any minor problems that we had were taken care of immediately.

Disappointing

-The community is well-kept and quiet. The rental was nice enough. The walls were scuffed and the carpet was worn and stained in places creating a dingy feel. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean though. -The older male security attendant at the gatehouse was very rude. We arrived at 2:30pm. (I messaged the owner about checking in but never got a response.) We realized the check-in wasn’t until 3pm, but it was 30 minutes and we thought we’d be able to go on and check in. We were told to turn around and come back at the correct check-in time, not when we “want” to check in. -The amenities were lacking at best. We never saw the beach shuttle running (it remained parked at the entrance to the community during our stay) so we opted to drive, park at public access and walk to the beach club. The very limited parking at the beach club was closed. Once at the beach club, we learned that the restaurant is closed Mon-Wed. (Our first day was Monday.) And, when the beach club is open it closes at 5pm. The “roof top” pool is small and mediocre. Beach chairs and umbrellas are first come, first served so it was necessary to arrive at the beach early to claim the front rows. If you were later than 9:30 you were out of luck for a spot even four or five rows deep. Golf was not discounted at all for staying in the community. $97/round plus a cart. This wasn’t any different than the public price. The community pool and fitness center were both nice, but we only got to use the pool on the very first night we arrived as it was closed the remainder of the trip due to a health code violation. We never saw anyone working to correct the problem and the host was unresponsive as to when it would be fixed. Apparently this is an on-going issue because a resident that lives in the community shared it is not uncommon for the pool to be closed and “they’ve had a lot of problems.” -The beach equipment and bikes at the house weren’t great either, unfortunately. My husband had to pull out tools to fix the handle bars on a bike as they were hanging loose and the bike was not rideable without the fix. -We had a good week because we were with our kids and the beach is beautiful. The property itself was not the nicest we’ve stayed in, but we were comfortable. The pool and club closures along with the golf rates and rude security were not the fault of the owners, but the lack of communication from them was very disappointing.

Paradise!

We’ve been vacationing in Perdido Key for years. This was our first visit to Lost Key, and we absolutely loved our condo. Highly recommend and hope to return again!

A lot of potential with let down

We were very much looking forward to enjoying this trip. We like the beach but having the community pool and restaurant/bar was a big draw. Well the pool was shut down by the health department because of how dirty it was and the restaurant and bar were not opened at all. The pool on the beach was so crowded and dirty bc people had no where else to go with their little ones. Was not fun. We wanted a place we didn’t have to leave and that didn’t happen. The house was nice and good set up. Would definitely stay again if the amenities were actually available as stated. The HOA came by and shared this so not the first time the pool had been shut down. So much potential but not worth the risk of not actually being able to use amenities.

Great Property, clean and well stocked for your vacation stay.

Enjoyed our stay, wish there were golf carts to rent to go back and forth to the beach amenities. We had to drive back and forth to the beach, the shuttle was not always on schedule and would not let us bring extra items on the shuttle.

We had a great time on a much needed vacation. The property was clean and perfect for what we needed. We loved hanging out at the beach and the pools. It was relaxing and stress free. We did not want to leave and my daughter is already trying to plan our next trip!

Lovely home, great location in cute neighborhood close to beach. Slight wear to carpet (person came to inspect during visit to repair ) and two broken chairs, but otherwise a great location for a beach vacation as well as both pools the complex offers.

Paradise Found!

There is a reason for the Glover's 5* rating. Their property is a slice of heaven. It is convenient to the main thoroughfare between Pensacola and Orange Beach. 7 minute walk to beach. They have thought of all your needs and provided for them adequately. Other properties we have stayed, you are on your own running to the Dollar store for every little thing. The property is very well furnished and modern. Beach toys, bicycles, a grill, beautiful patio. I could go on, but you need to get booking before your dates are taken! The Pell Family 04/2021

Great location and stay

We really liked the area and the beach club was great. It was like being at a hotel with service. We hadn't been to Perdido Key before and really liked the surrounding area and had a great time. The townhome was nicely furnished and the grill was a nice bonus.

Perfection

We loved our stay ! Pictures are exactly what you get ! Very clean and convenient. Bobbie was attentive and answered all my questions promptly . Only disappointment the whole trip was that we couldn’t take our dog to the beach but there is a small dog beach area close by that worked for us. We hope to come back next summer !

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. The proximity to the beach and both pools And beach club was great, and the home was beautiful and clean. The owner was very sweet and extremely responsive to all of my questions! Would book again with them in a heartbeat!

Hey there! We are Casey and Bobbie Jo from Dallas, TX. We live in Dallas with our two fur babies, Bentley and Sasha. The 4 of us love the beach and always wanted to have a place to call our own near the water. Lost Key had everything we were looking for - pool, gym, golf course, private beach club and the space we wanted for our growing family.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Although this property is not on the water, it makes up for it with all the amenities that are included for us and our guests. It is a spacious townhome (comfortably sleeps 6 people), it is literally a 7 minute walk to the beach on a sidewalk or the shuttle will pick you up directly outside the townhome, it has 2 pool (one at the private beach club on the beach overlooking the ocean and the other next to the fully equipped gym), and it has a beach club with full service at the pool and the beach (umbrella setup, chairs are included and food and drink service). This home has everything you could possibly want or need for your beach vacation!
