Lovely apartment located in the very city center of Rome, at a few steps from Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Campo de Fiori.

The apartment is located in a little alley, right next to Piazza della Chiesa Nuova, where you can find a taxi station, a bus station and a supermarket. By the way, the apartment is centrally located, there is no need to use the bus, you can walk everywhere!

The apartment has his own independent entrance (24 steps from the street level), and it is composed by a bright and large living room with a comfortable brand new sofa (convertible in a double bed if needed), 4 armchairs, table and TV. A portable fan is provided during summer. From the window you can see the lateral wall of the church Santa Maria della Vallicella, better known as Chiesa Nuova: built between 1500 and 1600, the church is famous for the fresco paintings by Pietro da Cortona and the amazing altarpiece by Rubens.

The air conditioned master bedroom has a brand new double bed for 2 with a very comfortable matress, wardrobe, dresser and mirror. Right in front of the bedroom is the recently fully restored bathroom with WC, bidet and a XL shower (renovation January 2020).

The fully equipped kitchen has a round table with 4 chairs, fridge and freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer.

The apartment was very spacious and clean, and Chiara was a lovely and welcoming host. The location was perfect for sightseeing and walking, with picturesque streets and lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. The only issue was the heavy construction outside the apartment. They are building a subway station and loud construction started early in the morning and went until late at night. This would be fine for a couple staying at the apartment because there is AC in the main bedroom and it was quiet with the windows closed. If you plan to have people sleeping on the sofa bed just be aware that there is no AC and the construction means the windows can’t be left open.

We would just like to add a little context regarding the points you mentioned, as it may be helpful for future guests. The apartment is located in a beautiful 17th-century historic building. Because of the building's protected status, it is not possible to install an outdoor air-conditioning unit on the main façade. For this reason, the bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, while the living room is provided with two fans to ensure guests' comfort. Many of our guests appreciate the unique experience of staying in a beautifully preserved historic Roman building, with its original thick stone walls that naturally help keep the apartment cool and quiet. Regarding the nearby construction work, the site is approximately 150 metres from the apartment and is separated by noise barriers. Unfortunately, this is a public infrastructure project beyond our control. Fortunately, thanks to the apartment's thick historic walls and modern PVC windows, indoor noise is generally very limited when the windows are closed. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to Rome in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in the heart of Rome. The location was excellent, making it easy to walk to many of the major attractions within 25 to 30 minutes or less, depending on your pace and the crowds. Having so many historic sites, shops, and restaurants within walking distance made exploring the city very convenient.One of our favorite discoveries was a quaint nearby restaurant managed by Dave, who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The pizza, bread, and lasagna were outstanding and became our favorite meals during our stay. There were also several shops nearby, and we found a grocery store just a block away when we returned from visiting the Colosseum one evening.The host was very responsive and attentive. When we experienced an issue with the toilet continuously running, they arrived within about an hour and resolved the problem promptly.Future guests may find it helpful to know that there is one air conditioning unit located in the back room. During our stay from September 6th through September 9th, temperatures were quite warm. Guests who prefer a colder sleeping environment should note that the room with the air conditioning unit stays the coolest, while other areas may be warmer depending on the weather and time of year.Additionally, there are approximately 20 stairs leading to the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen. This was not an issue for us, but it may be something to consider when carrying luggage or for those with mobility

Thank you as well for highlighting some of the practical features of the apartment, including the stairs and the air conditioning. The stairs to the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen are mentioned in the description and also visible in the listing photos, but we appreciate you pointing them out as something future guests may wish to consider. Regarding the AC, the apartment is located in a 17th-century listed building, where there are unfortunately strict restrictions on installing units on the façade, including in the living room. We are nevertheless looking into whether there might be an alternative solution to improve the cooling of the common areas, although we don’t yet know if this will be possible. Your comments will certainly be helpful to future guests when planning their stay. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we would be very happy to welcome you back to Rome!

Stay here! If you are looking for an easy home base for your trip to Rome, this is it. The hosts were exceptional. They met us when we arrived, earlier than expected which they didn’t have to do, helped us with some forgotten paperwork, and made us feel truly at home. The home was clean, the space had everything we needed, and it was perfect.

Amazing location. The largest apt I have stayed in Europe. A popular tiramisu spot, two sizes and very popular gelato,Frigidarium, are a few steps away. These places always had a long line so as soon as we saw it short we waited. The apt is on a wonderful small walking street and close to a large plaza. Close to everything honestly. I would definitely be back. We were only 2 but 2 could definitely sleep in the living room if allowed. Also, the restaurant close by closes at a decent hour and the windows are very good so it was quiet all night.

Our host Chiara was amazing getting us checked in, providing local resources, and checking in throughout our stay. Apartment had all the basic accommodation we needed and was VERY clean. One king bed, pull out couch and 2 convertible chair/beds worked fine for our family of 4. Great location…. Easy walk to many sights, shopping, restaurants, etc!!

Excellent location and friendly host

Our host chiara met us to check in and was so helpful as we had many questions and were so disoriented from our flight. She was extremely kind and helpful. Also the place is beautiful, spacious and a great kitchen but the location is the real gem. Not in a noisy spot but right in the heart of the best neighborhood in Rome. So easy to get everywhere and right by taxi stand , pharmacy, grocery store and beautiful small streets to wander.

Great facilities which covered all our needs.we were impressed with the well lit and quiet appartment even though it was close to via V Emanuele. Given the opportunity we will definitely use the location again and recommend it even for a small family.we also found it a very easy reference point to all the obvious landmarks. Excellent location and comfortable apartment!

We travelled as a family to Rome and stayed in this nicely outfitted apartment. The beds were brand new and extremely comfortable! All of the basic supplies were provided and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Chiara is the most amazing host - supplying us with fantastic restaurant recommendations (all closeby) and most importantly the tours she arranged were outstanding. I would definitely stay in this apartment in the future and I would recommend it highly.

Conveniently located and comfortable

We wanted an apartment in Rome to rent so we could eat in sometimes, as well as walk to most of the sites we wished to visit. The apartment was conveniently located, not in the very best part of Rome, but we certainly felt comfortable and our goal of being able to walk was realistic and achievable. Our host was attentive, available and helpful. We will book there again when we return to Rome.

The perfect location for seeing Rome

The perfect location for seeing Rome. This lovely spacious apartment was right in the center of Rome easy walking distance to Campo de Fiori, the pantheon, piazza Navona. The taxi stand right outside was so convenient. There is also a pharmacy and a market very close. Chiara is a delightful hostess. She arranged for a car to pick me up at the airport and everything went smoothly. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
