Our family had a wonderful holiday staying at this cottage. Everything was as expected and more - lots of space inside and outside! The bedrooms were comfortable and private. The kitchen is well equipped with extra small appliances. Would definitely consider renting again.

As advertised, the cottage is located on a small lake (Roberts Lake). The cottage is large (6 bedrooms) and very well supplied with linens, towels, cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, and other daily requirements. There is a beautiful virew from the sun deck onto the lake. There is also a small sandy beach and a dock. We stayed for a week with our family (grown children and grandchildren), and there was plenty to keep evryone happy and occupied, including many board games abd outdoor activities.

Fabulous spot for all ages! 10 of us ranging in age from 2-73 thoroughly enjoyed this spacious and extremely well equipped cottage. Great games room, dining room table easily accommodates 10. The dock is lovely with a shallow sandy beach area for the kids. Paddle boat, canoe and SUP were very much enjoyed and appreciated. There is a huge flat grassy lawn with all sorts of games available. Bedrooms were lovely and there are two large balconies with lots of seating - great spots to chat or read. Hostess met us on arrival and gave us an orientation to the property. It was fun to watch planes fly overhead on route to a runway near the end of the lake. There was even a lovely welcome gift. I would highly recommend this location and we look forward to returning.

Wonderful waterfront property

Our family had a great time with all the water sports equipment and appreciated the fact that the lawn was huge and away from the water esp. for the little ones. We could play all kinds of games on the property and so much was provided!! Also the open concept kitchen, dining and sitting area was amazing for family gatherings!! Everything was in great working order and our family enjoyed all the amenities.

Family Vacation

We had a beautiful week celebrating my Mom’s 70th Birthday with my parents, brother and his family. The house was comfortable, clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The kids had a great time in the games room and there was plenty of grass and sand for them to run and play. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock, swimming and getting out on the water in the kayak, canoe and paddle board. Kathy was a wonderful hostess readily available to answer any questions and welcome us to her home.

Beautiful house!

My family and I had a fantastic time at Kathy’s place this July! The house was very large and clean and all the amenities were provided. Great fishing off the dock & there was a nice sandy area for the kids to play. We snoozed on the amazing deck when it rained and played bocce everyday! The yard is massive and the kids ran and played volleyball. The dog also had a blast running in the yard and playing outside all day. I would highly recommend Kathys place for your next getaway. Thanks Kathy!

We had a great week and Kathy was very quick to respond to any questions we had and explained everything upon our arrival. The cottage itself is fantastic and was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. The waterfront and dock are very well taken care of and we enjoyed the whole yard and all the activities there to use. Also, the complimentary wine and Muskoka coolers Kathy left for us were such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again.

Great waterfront cottage

Our group had a great time at Kathy's cottage. It is fully stocked, well-equipped, spacious inside and out. Big rooms, huge flat lawn to play soccer, volleyball, or badminton. Fire pit, Muskoka chairs, outstanding dock, a mirror lake with beautiful wildlife spots on the shores and in the water. We literally took thousands of photos of memorable moments. Kathy was a wonderful host, quick to respond and made us feel welcome into her home. The property is perfect and we would definitely consider staying there again. Thanks Kathy! We already missing those great days ...

Kathy welcomed us with a quick tour and complimentary wine and coolers - very thoughtful. Her home is well-stocked with equipment (especially the kitchen) and entertainment - lots of games. We were a group of 8 adults and 4 children. The house was very spacious with a large table big enough for our group to sit together for meals and to play games. The basement is set up as a games room and our grandchildren loved spending time there. We were out on the lake in the paddleboat and canoe, enjoyed that very much. The property is perfect, as the lawn is huge and flat - perfect for games - with a sandy beach and shallow water for little ones. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and clean home

Kathy welcomed us with a quick tour and treats. Her home is well-stocked with equipment (especially the kitchen) and entertainment. Great for large groups - we had 3 families with young children and were rained out all weekend. Despite this, the surrounding was beautiful and the kids had lots to do with board games, toys, air hockey and and foosball. Comfortable beds and the home was very clean. The only downside is that if you were to spend a lot of time outside during your stay, you can hear the traffic from the highway close by. You cannot hear it inside the house and it’s not noticeable at night outdoors.

Fantastic Cottage Getaway

8 of us had the pleasure of staying here and enjoying 2 rounds of golf at Seguin Valley (10 min away) and The Ridge of Manitou (38 min away). The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could need (dishes, towels, etc) The bedrooms were all very roomy with great beds. The AC was a big plus. Nice sized kitchen and living room/dining room with space for everyone. The lawn is huge, great for games outside. The beach area and dock were where we spent most of our time. Smaller lake so the water was very warm. We didn't notice much traffic on the lake or any noise from the airport/highway. Great location and host. Kathy was quick to respond, was very detailed with her walk through and very nice. She even left us with two complimentary 6 packs of Muskoka tall boys on arrival! Would highly recommend and looking forward to going back!

Great Family Escape Location

We were a group of 8 adults and 3 children, the house was very spacious with a large table big enough for our group to sit together for meals and to play games. The basement is set up as a games room, our grandchildren loved spending time there. We were out on the lake in the paddleboat and canoe, enjoyed that very much. The yard is large and there are many outdoor games available, and we very much enjoyed just sitting on the deck with the view of the lake. We were there at Thanksgiving so the weather wasn't as nice as if we'd been there in the summer, it would be an absolutely wonderful location for a summer stay.

Great group getaway

This house was very spacious and had everything that multiple families could need to enjoy a vacation. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked and the rooms were spacious with comfy beds. There were lots of board games and lawn games to enjoy. The highway noises and planes took some getting used to, but we ended up naming a couple of the planes we saw frequently. Kathy was very communicative and showed us the house upon arrival. You can tell she takes great pride in her home. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay - overall, it was really awesome. Kathy was very responsive. I would have given 5 stars for this stay except that the refrigerator broke down during our stay. Luckily, Kathy had a backup refrigerator in the garage, which was helpful but a bit inconvenient. She also had one on order and arrive 2 days prior to our departure.

Beautiful location, great home!

We loved our stay at Kathy's home. The house itself is really well equipped, spacious, plenty of room for kids to be kids. Ours had a ton of rainy-day fun on the Wii and with the air hockey table. The property is gorgeous, there is great for swimming off the dock (deep and rocky lake, not weedy), and we all loved the boats and water toys. Plenty to do, and we had a fantastic holiday!

Beautiful, clean home.

Kathy's home is very spacious, clean and exactly what we need for a quiet break. This home was freshly cleaned when we arrived. Kathy is very pleasant and took the time to do a walk-thru with us. The kitchen is very well equipped with pots, utensils and spices. Thank you Kathy for being an awesome host, we will definitely stay at your place again. I really enjoyed sitting on those red chairs and looking out at the lake.

Wonderful cottage

Our group of 9 adults and 2 toddlers had a great time spending a few nights at this spacious cottage. It had a large yard that lead to the nice deck over the water. We spent our days by the water and hanging out in the yard and at nights hanging by the fire pit. Kathy is very responsive, accommodating and also supplied essentials for our 3 night stay. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful property

Our group had a wonderful stay! The property was fantastic, we really enjoyed playing on the grass and the sandy beach entry. The cottage is large and accommodated our group of 3 families very well. Kathy is a responsive and attentive host. Would recommend!

Great family getaway place

We visited the cottage for the Thanksgiving weekend - the fall colours were absolutely breathtaking! The cottage itself has everything one might need for a larger family stay inside; and a nice outdoor space: a fire pit and a dock that gives great views of the lake in both directions. Would definitely book again!
