Dundee Charm - Les dates d'automne et de vacances vont vite

Vous visualisez l'un des meilleurs VRBO de la région d'Omaha. Cette grande mais confortable maison est nichée au cœur du quartier historique de Dundee, un quartier du début du XXe siècle situé dans le centre d’Omaha. Les installations comprennent des planchers en bois revampés, une cuisine mise à jour, des salles de bains rénovées, des lits en mousse à mémoire de forme, un jardin clôturé avec un patio, un barbecue et un parking extérieur. Presque tous les meubles sont neufs à partir de fin 2017! Nous avons des Smart TV dans chaque chambre et un 4KTV dans le salon, le tout avec des options de streaming premium.

Il y a 2 chambres au niveau principal qui sont facilement accessibles. Le reste de la maison nécessite des escaliers. La chambre supérieure avec 2 lits doubles nécessite un escalier en bonne santé auquel on accède par la chambre principale au rez-de-chaussée.

Clean, spacious, well appointed and so cute! Lots of room for a family stay. Easy to stay with kids (two toddlers on our trip). Owner was easy to work with, spot is in a great location. We will stay again!

Lovely, cozy and family-friendly house

Booked this house for a family trip and there was more than enough room for all of us. The house is clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with necessities. Brett was marvelous to work with and we will definitely be using this again!

Thankful for Family Time!

Our family was able to celebrate Thanksgiving together for the first time in 6 years. Dundee Charm was the perfect place for us to be together for a large meal, playing multiple board games, watching football and volleyball games and many great memories. Thank you for providing such a great location!

Delightful stay for large group

House was just as advertised -- lovely, clean spaces. Appreciated the abundance of furnishings, places to sit, bedrooms and baths with clean fresh linens and towels. Kitchen has everything you need! Charming house with a lot of room!

This is a nice home with lovely beds, wood floors and a surprising 4 big bedrooms. There a lot of kitchen amenities and extras in the bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again next time we are in Omaha.

Highly recommend this home. My second visit was just as nice as the first a year ago. Dundee location makes it easy to get anywhere in town. Plenty of space inside and out. Home was clean and ready. WiFi/TV/tech all good. There was COFFEE!! Will return if I get back to Omaha. 👍

Easy and convenient stay!

We enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable in this cute rental. The only issue we had was one bedroom we had where my husband and I slept had a very low ceiling and my husband and I keep banging our heads on it. Otherwise, everything was great and the owner was very accommodating and easy to work with!

Property was well located and well furnished (kitchen had more than most). Communication with the manager was a bit spotty as we had to ping him after check in time for the entry code. Coffee pot had not been cleaned from past use and dishwasher wasn’t unloaded. Nothing that would keep us from staying there again, but a couple of misses.

Centrally Located

It was fairly easy to get to the locations we needed to. Warning: This is not a house for everyone! Grandparents ended up staying in a hotel instead because they couldn't get up on the beds or in the shower. The bathroom on the main level is so tiny, I knocked the TP off trying to get undressed. As I'm sure it is with all very old houses, its super squeaky and loud, no sneaking in late! The stairs going upstairs and downstairs are pretty narrow and steep and not for the faint of heart. Things were very clean, we didn't use the kitchen. I wouldn't cram 11 people in here, we had 6 adult sized people and it was perfect. You should know is that there is no air conditioning upstairs in what I assume was once an attic. I thought we would be catching cool enough weather but we couldn't even open the windows because there weren't screens on them. It ended up being so warm up there, we couldn't use those beds the last night and had to find room on the main level couches. I would consider the area a little sketchy, I wouldn't walk around alone. The house sits on a pretty steep hill and the front steps are slanting a little so again, watch your step. All in all, we were hardly there so it was nice to have a centrally located home base and it was quiet. We saw bunnies and had a racoon visit.

Thank you for taking the time to review. I'm glad you noticed that we use extra-thick 14" memory foam mattresses for guest comfort. We also have footstools available for children and anyone else needing a boost. The bathroom in the basement is very spacious, featuring a double sink. The stairs leading to the basement meet code requirements, but please note that the stairs to the upper floor are slightly steep. However, we haven't had any issues with past guests. The attic has separate AC controls, and our team is always available to assist guests with programming or adjusting the TV and climate systems in the house. Dundee is a historic area of the city known for its safety and is highly sought after by families and professionals living in Omaha.

Omaha weekend

We had a great experience - the owner went out if their way to accommodate our grandkids with lots of toys and vehicles, high chair and pack n play. Well stocked kitchen dishes, pans, etc. I would recommend grabbing coffee and spices that you like to use if you want to cook. Great tv setups plenty of room for 8 of us for the weekend. Convenient location, nice neighborhood.

Dundee Charmer, indeed

Everything about this home was great. Comfy living room and bedrooms. (The beds have kinda tall profiles with storage underneath and even though I’m a shortie I made it work. Comfy!) Nice kitchen. Perfect midtown location, close to stores and restaurants. Easy to book and check in. Great communication with the property host. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Nice back yard with room for my young lab mix to play. I’d sure love to stay here again the next time I visit Omaha.

Nice touches… fresh tulips on the table … nice linens… great kitchen supplies….fresh coffee ….large table for gathering and outside seating to enjoy the weather. Brett made our trip so easy and enjoyable. It was very clean and the bedding & linens were super nice.

Charming, organized, great location

This charming house was the perfect “ home base” for my husband, son, fiancé and I to spend Thanksgiving with our many Omaha relatives. We loved our walks in the neighborhood- highly recommend Hoppy Tacos A short walk away. Communication with the manager/ owner Was outstanding. The house is Very clean and organized. Highly recommend for a small group!

Midwest Getaway

Accurate Description, great location for Us!

The property is as described, Brett is incredibly accommodating, he even came over in person to address a minor issue. We would stay here again.
