The Space:

A three-bedroom apartment sleeping up to eight, set on Church Street in the centre of York's historic city. The living, dining, and kitchen areas sit within an open layout, making it a practical and comfortable base for groups, families and hen stays.

The apartment includes two bathrooms, one of which features a bathtub. Three bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge accommodate up to eight guests across the space.



The Neighborhood:

The Kings Apartments sit in one of York's most central positions, within easy walking distance of the city's most visited landmarks and quieter corners alike.

York Minster, the second largest Gothic cathedral in Northern Europe, is moments away. The Shambles, York's most photographed medieval street with its timber-framed overhanging buildings, is well known to Harry Potter fans and history enthusiasts alike. Clifford's Tower, the largest surviving remnant of York Castle, and the York City Walls, nearly two miles of walkable historic fortification, are both close by.



For those interested in the city's deeper history, the Jorvik Viking Centre, York Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum, and York Art Gallery are all within reach. The York Dungeon and a range of ghost tours offer a look at the city's darker past, while York's Chocolate Story traces a different kind of local heritage.



The River Ouse is a short walk away, with City Cruises running boat tours along the water. York's markets, including the Shambles Market, SPARK York, and the Farmers Market, provide a grounded look at everyday city life. In late November through December, the York St Nicholas Fair brings over 100 alpine-style chalets to the city centre, making it one of the UK's most well-regarded Christmas markets. Getting Around:

Located in the heart of York's city centre, the apartment is less than a mile from the train station, offering excellent transport links for both business and leisure travelers. Vehicle access to the property is restricted due to city regulations in central York. Cars are permitted on the surrounding streets before 10.30am and after 5pm. If you are arriving by car, there are several nearby public car parks just a 5 minute walk away.



Other Things to Note:

The apartment is located in the heart of York's city centre. As with most vibrant historic locations, some evening street activity may be audible. Earplugs are provided for guests who prefer a quieter night's sleep.



Arranged over three floors, this charming home features a spiral staircase, it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or young children.



A sofa bed can be provided for an additional charge of £20. If you require this, please let us know in advance so we can arrange for our team to provide the necessary linen before your arrival.



We are happy to welcome one well-behaved dog for a fee of £30 per stay. To make things easier, dog bowls are provided. We kindly ask that dogs are house-trained, kept of all furniture, and not left unattended in the property at any time.
