Magnifique appartement de 2 chambres en centre-ville avec vue imprenable, récemment rénové à un niveau très élevé, le 10 Stonegate Court est un joyau caché dans le cœur animé de la ville. Accueillant 4 personnes dans 2 chambres doubles bien aménagées, l'espace de vie décloisonné dispose d'une baie vitrée et d'un petit balcon avec vue sur York Minster. Une grande terrasse privée avec salle à manger pour 6 personnes partant de la chambre principale, idéale pour les repas d'été ou le café du matin. L'appartement dispose d'une machine à café Nespresso.

Just perfect for location. Everything really is on your doorstep. Comfortable and exceptionally clean apartment. Wheelchair freindly. Very well stocked kitchen area (apart from food obviously ) One very minor negative was no kitchen roll.Unless it was in a place i did not spot.

A very central location

This property was ideally situated for access to all the attractions & street life. The accommodation was lovely ample space & clean & we would live to stay there again. Although in the main hub of the town it was very quiet.

A really nice apartment in the heart of York. Lots of space, clean, quiet, modern, and bright. Very comfortable. It even has an outdoor patio. We truly enjoyed our stay there, highly recommended.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

This unit was stunning! So spacious & well appointed, with a balcony AND a terrace. On a 2 week tour of England, this unit was hands down the nicest property we stayed at. And such a great location inside the walled city, but quiet and completely secure. What a treat!If we ever return to the area, I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

Lovely stay

We had a great stay at StoneGate. Myself and my partner too my in laws for a few nights stay, everything was right on our doorstep. Apartment had everything we needed. Would definitely book again.

A great located, clean and comfortable apartment

Amazing location in the centre of town, minister, dungeon, museum and other attraction in walking distance and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants! Clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Parking space is included in stay but it is about a 10 min walk away from the apartment so keep this in mind. Would definitely book again!

Perfect city centre pad for exploring

It’s probably one of the best located apartments in York with open views from balconies and both the master bedroom and the Living room area looking over Yorkminster’s rose window. Perfectly located next to loads of shops, pubs and restaurants. The master bathroom had a broken shower and that was the only issue we had during the weekend. To top it off the apartment came with a car parking pass, which as you can imagine, is a pretty rare thing in a mediaeval city. ! We will definitely look to book this apartment again, we had a great weekend with a perfect base for exploring the city.

Originally booked three nights and unfortunately, we had to leave after only one night. Unfortunately, there was an issue with ants in the main room and kitchen. We were not comfortable staying with our young son through the treatment that would be necessary to rid the apartment of the ants. The management company was prompt with their communications and generously refunded us for the last two nights. Would also like to note that the apartment is in need of some updating and repairs, was not cleaned thoroughly, there is no good coffee-making option (only espresso machine and tiny French press) and there is no AC.

Great location and beautiful spacious accommodation

We stayed at flat 10 Stonegate York for a short break with a couple of friends. The location was perfect, central yet quiet and everything was on our doorstep. Parking for one car was via a permit at a 6 -8 minute walk away. The Flat was very spacious and extremely clean. It was pretty well appointed too. The only 2 things I would note: a non- slip shower mat in the ensuite would have been useful and a table or dressing table in the main bedroom too. Otherwise the beds were extremely comfy, lovely sheets and very warm and cosy throughout. The other added benefits were the 2 outside spaces, a large patio and a small balcony. Didn't use them in December but would have been great in summer, especially with such a great view of the Minster. Would definitely book again.

Location is wonderful

This property is managed by a company & maybe that’s the issue. The location is wonderful but upkeep items seem to be ignored. Both showers leak onto the floors & both drains are very stopped up-we ended up standing in 2 to 3 inches of water. The bottom rack of the dishwasher is missing all its wheels so you have to pick up the rack each time to load and then insert back into the dishwasher to operate. We reported the drains, and the receptionist at the company acted like she’d heard it all before. All that said, if you want to be close to the Minster this apartment is good. Just don’t expect that it’s offered by an owner who takes pride in the place.

This property was in an amazing location, AMAZING view of the minster, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great outdoor spaces, just wonderful in every way... EXCEPT: the cleaning crew needs to do a better job. The place wasn't dirty but was more like a 16 year old had been forced to clean before going out with friends. Freezer needed defrosting--I didn't even know modern freezers could even frost up like that. Also, carpeting could use a good steam cleaning. Nothing terrible. However one very annoying thing: the master bath shower drained so slowly the water barely moved and was in danger of overflowing. When it did eventually drain a layer of soap scum was left. When I called Stays York they said it was the fault of the building and "not to worry about it"! What? I'm standing in an inch of soapy dirty water. Building's fault? I bought my own drain cleaner and with a bit of diligence was able to fix it myself. That shouldn't be my job. But the worst was having my concern brushed off like it wasn't their problem. "Don't worry about it." Other reviewers have complained about the drains so I assumed it would be fixed but no. If I can do it, they can do it. Having said that, I would probably stay there again because it was an outstanding location and having two bathrooms was such a luxury. Just fix the drains pete's sake!!!

We really enjoyed our stay was a lovely apartment , was spacious clean and had everything you needed . Also has outside space . Its about a 10 minute walk or so to where you can park your car with a car permit. And the apartment is right by shops and short walk to pubs and resturants. Would definitely stay there again .

Really great accomodation, right in the heart of York.

Loved this place. Comfortable, clean, spacious. The wee terrace out the back was an extra plus, the sun hit it around midday, it was lovely to sit out and have a late breakfast or afternoon tea. Despite being so central, it was very quiet. Would definitely go back again.

Short stay in York

Lovely apartment overlooking York minster . Very modern and contemporary with all mod cons. When we arrived we had a lovely little hamper from stays of York . This contained a few essentials and some local luxury items . Very nice indeed. There were four of us so ideal with double room each . Few issues were the first room had no mirror . So difficult with makeup etc . There was one in bathroom but this steamed up after use . The en-suite room had a mirror but this was not near a plug so difficult to see when drying hair . There is no parking but the stays York lady advised us of times and places to unload etc . Very central and it was lovely to just come downstairs and out into the busy street . Plenty of cafes, bars shops on your doorstep. We wanted to stay longer !!

10 Stonegate

This accommodation is a modern flat in a residential complex; be aware of it but don’t let it put you off. It should be mentioned that it’s not in Stonegate, rather that’s the name of the complex and you enter it from Blake St - after the initial surprise, again don’t let that put you off. It’s city centre with all the pro’s and cons that brings, but it’s ideal for ignoring the car for the entire time you’re there and walking the walls, eating in the restaurants and drinking in the pubs! The flat was spotlessly clean and well equipped for our 4 day stay; it has a secure entry to the flats and a lift should it be required, and the views of the Minster from the small front balcony were a beautiful backdrop to breakfast and lunch. Yes the space below is - actually what is it?! - overgrown with vegetation, but it’s so overgrown it just looks like a wild garden and certainly wasn't off putting. Accept that it’s a modern city centre flat and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Lastly, a word for Stays York - they helped us out in a difficult situation and tweaked the dates of our stay - many thanks for your flexibility!
