A small and cozy cottage. Very private. Kitchen was well supplied and I appreciated the teabags and coffee samples! It is a beautiful spot on Rowleys Bay and close to Ellison Bay and Sister Bay. I stopped at KickAsh Coffee in Ellison Bay every day for their great coffee and salads and baked goods. One challenging thing was going up and down the circular stairway in the cottage. It was especially hard to get a suitcase up those stairs and older people might have a problem climbing up and down. The upstairs bedrooms were hot at night until the owner responded to my concern by suggesting I put the window fan in the bedroom window. And it definitely helped!

Rustic getaway

Neat little hideaway on the edge of the woods and close to the bay. Nice spot for 2 families to hang out over long weekend to play card games, eat and relax adtet a busy day.

We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin was very cute and homey. The beds were comfortable, and living room space was enjoyable. The only thing we would suggested would be something to help take the dampness out of the house. We would definitely book again. Thank you!

Relaxing and quiet

The property is great! All kitchen utensils and dish ware that you need. Great fishing to walkable pier. Went out at night to see all the stars and super moon! Sad to see Rowleys Bay burned down. We’ve stayed at this VRBO for the last 4 years. Always enjoyable .

Highly recommend

This place worked out perfect for our group of 6. The location was lovely and just a short walk to the water. These folks thought of everything, including a charger with a selection of cables for all devices. There were lots of cozy blankets (it really cooled down at night). It's a very quiet area but a short drive to busier areas, if that is your thing.

The cabin worked out great for our family stay. It was very quiet and close to the water! We had a great time exploring the peninsula. We stay in Door County every year and always have a fantastic time!

Door county gem

Amazing, relaxing cabin that is a stones throw from Rowleys bay. Great location for anglers! This would also be an ideal stay for anyone who wants to experience door county but wants to be away from the hustle of the summer tourists. Highly recommend!

Just Perfect

My time at the cabin was just perfect. Everything you need and a great hide away spot that is very private yet convenient. I would highly recommend owner’s Ed and Jill too, as they were available and so helpful.

Relaxing get-away

Peaceful retreat in the woods. A wonderful time to be in Door County and witness the changing colors of fall. Well equiped property that didn't disappoint. There is not one negative thing to say about our experience. Looking forward to another visit next year!
