Belle maison confortable avec un emplacement exceptionnel en ville

Bienvenue au Moose Manor Bar Harbor. Ceci est notre maison, et nous aimerions partager avec vous! Situé sur la rue fédérale, Moose Manor est une maison neuve 1904 Angleterre-style avec toutes les mises à niveau et les commodités de la vie moderne. Fraßchement peint partout avec exquis, cuisine design entiÚrement équipée et d'une salle de bain entiÚrement mis à jour. Tous les conforts de la maison dans un emplacement idéal, à proximité de tout.

Il ya 3 chambres pouvant accueillir confortablement 6. Une chambre avec un lit queen, la deuxiÚme a un lit double ou lits jumeaux, et la troisiÚme a un jumeau. Il ya une salle de bains (avec une magnifique baignoire sur pieds!) au deuxiÚme étage. Chaque chambre comprend des miroirs muraux pour réduire la demande pour le temps de miroir de salle de bains. La chambre principale comprend une table de toilette avec la lumiÚre / miroir. Toutes les chambres disposent du soleil et des brises de l'océan abondantes.

La façade de la maison dispose d'une véranda magnifique avec une table de bistrot / chaises, rocker et un futon. Parfait pour le café du matin ou une sieste. Le doux bruit des mouettes locales est souvent présent.

À l'arriĂšre de la maison, juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la cuisine, vous trouverez un petit pont de bois avec un barbecue Weber et chaises pour profiter de l'aprĂšs-midi brise fraĂźche pendant que votre steak griller.

La cuisine a tout ce dont vous aurez besoin si vous choisissez de prĂ©parer certains de vos propres repas pendant votre sĂ©jour, y compris certains Ă©lĂ©ments de garde-manger de base pour votre usage. Top-of-the-line de petits appareils (y compris cafetiĂšre Bunn!) sont disponibles aussi bien. Les autres Ă©lĂ©ments comprennent fabricant belge de gaufres, grille-pain 4 tranches Cuisinart, mixeur, robot-, Crock Pot, casseroles / poĂȘles et cuire-ware ainsi que d'un pot de homard ENTREPRISES SUR pour faire bouillir votre propre «attraper» Ă  la maison! A wonderful house, exceptionally clean and organized. The house location is perfect distance to Bar Harbor marina, food and drinks, shopping etc
 Driveway parks 2 vehicles and with it being only a 5 minute drive to Acadia was a huge plus. Highly recommend, the location made our stay our #1 trip !! 5- all the way!!

Moose Manor was the perfect home base for our family to explore Acadia National Park. The home was immaculate, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved being able to walk into town and to the waterfront with ease without worrying about parking. We are already dreaming about our return trip!

Great Spot Close to Everything

We had a family of 5 stay the week of July 4th. The house is very close to downtown. The best part is the parking, which we did not appreciate prior to booking. The area was very crowded and parking was hard to come by. Luckily we had our own private driveway next to the house. Besides that, everything was clean and comfortable. Paul was also very responsive to any questions we had and also provided some great activity and restaurant recommendations.

Perfect Bar Harbor location and extremely helpful host

Location is about as convenient as you can get for Bar Harbor. The house was perfect for our family of four. Paul was a wonderful host whose suggestions on activities and restaurants ended up being our favorite parts of the trip.

Family hiking vacation

Wonderful house close to everything!

My husband and I had a great week-long stay at Moose Manor! The house was clean, comfortable, well-stocked and in a fantastic location in Bar Harbor. We had to work remotely part of the time, and the internet connection did not disappoint. Paul was a wonderful host, with great communication before, and great suggestions for activities and restaurants. Thanks for a relaxing stay, and we hope to be back soon!

Incredible first-time Bar Harbor stay

Our family of 4 had a PERFECT vacation. Everything at the home was precisely as advertised, and perfectly spotless. We contemplated staying a couple miles outside of downtown, but this was the most enjoyable vacation ever- Just a short walk to all meals, gorgeous downtown, and beautiful views of the harbor; or a 10 minute drive into Acadia. Paul was a great and responsive host and we had a great time! We will absolutely be coming back!

The Perfect Location

Paul and Joy’s property was great! The in-town location was perfect. A very short walk to shopping along the main street, all the best restaurants, and the bar island path for low tide. The house was spotless, had everything we may have needed, and Paul made communication a breeze. Will definitely come back to stay here!

Great location in Bar Harbor!

Stayed in this home with our 9 month old, 3 yo, and 5 yo. The description was very accurate, and Paul was great to work with and had wonderful suggestions on activities. I can't overstate how great the location is within Bar Harbor. Easy to walk to everything and don't have to fight parking during a busy summer season.

Highly recommend Moose Manor

Moose Manor is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor on a quiet, low traffic street and included off-street parking. The home was extremely clean with a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed. The communication with Paul was excellent, leading up to our trip, during the trip and post-trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose Manor and highly recommend this home.

Wonderful property and excellent location

Ours was a family of five adults for one week vacation. I was a little nervous that all of us could survive on one full bathroom (with toilet in basement), but it couldn’t have worked out better. Everyone had different schedules for bathing with some at night, some in the morning and some during the day after an activity. The property itself was perfect in that the kitchen was well stocked, had an eating area, and ample area for all of us to hang after being out and about. We used the fans at night and slept well in all of the rooms. The front porch gave us another area to split up. It was so nice to have full size laundry in the basement too. The home is one block off the main road, Cottage St but was tucked away and quiet. The town is quiet at night. I’m so glad we stayed in town versus some remote location. It was great having the dedicated parking space and the location of the home was fantastic. Short walk to grocery and very close to the green and all of the town shops and restaurants as well as the pier. We probably didn’t need to rent a car given that the Island Explorer has stops at all of the main places and you can easily walk the town and should due to limited in town parking. Homeowner Paul was the perfect host providing information on the home and activities going on both in advance of our trip and while there. We’ve never had that kind of interaction from a host. We will gladly stay here again!

Love this property!

We had a wonderful week in Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and beyond! The location of Moose Manor makes it super easy to walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants in the town of Bar Harbor as you are right there. With no worries for parking. You are also walking distance to go across the sand bar at low tide to Bar Harbor. This home had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. The beds are very comfortable. We really liked all the space on the enclosed front porch. And the dining and living room. I look forward to coming back to Moose Manor next year!

Awesome location and property layout

We had an amazing time in Acadia with our family of 6. Our two boys shared the large second room, our almost teenage daughter enjoyed the smallest charming bedroom, and we shared the largest bedroom with our baby daughter. It was a perfect layout for us. We were so happy to walk into town for ice cream and dinner after long days of hiking! We also loved the awesome downstairs layout and the porch, where we watched the torrential rain on Wednesday. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were so comfortable! We were so happy here. Thank you!

Home in the middle of the Bar Harbor action

Moose Manor Lodge is situated in the perfect location to take advantage of all downtown Bar Harbor has to offer. All of Bar Harbor's amenities are walkable and the off-street parking is appreciated. Someone from my group went to Acadia National Park everyday of our 1 week stay and going back and forth to the park is a short distance by car. The house has a nice kitchen and plenty of dining space. We appreciated the lobster supplies, as we cooked our own lobsters 2 times during our stay. I also enjoyed sitting on the enclosed porch on the cooler mornings. The owner was very responsive when we had a question during our stay. What a lovely home, we can't wait to stay again on our next trip to Bar Harbor.

Fantastic Bar Harbor property!

My family of five just returned from an incredible stay at Moose Manor! The house could not be more conveniently located to everything- just a short walk to restaurants, shops, bike rental across the street and quick ride into Acadia! This was especially helpful with young kids (6,4 & 3yr) and little legs! Our favorite activity from years past was playing in the tidal pools by Bar Island and this year it was merely a 5 minute walk from the house! Paul was so easy to deal with and extremely helpful and accommodating (especially during this chaotic year of covid!). The only thing I'd note is the proximity to the post office which can cause some noise in the morning but the convenience of the location far outweighed sound from trucks in my opinion. I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to coming back!

Excellent in town location. Can walk to everywhere.

My family of 6 stayed at Moose Manor in late August of our vacation. The in-town location on a small side street could not be beat. We could walk to literally everything in town, but at the same time our kids could safely ride their bikes and play out on the road. The house is clean, has modern amenities, includes a fully stocked kitchen and is very comfortable. The only small concerns was is the house does not have a bathroom on the first floor. This is a minor inconvenience. And also the back of the house is in close proximity to the local post office whose trucks often arrive at 5 AM on week days. But this isn't a big issue once you learn to shut windows on that side of the house. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Moose Manor for our 25th anniversary! We had never been to Bar Harbor, so it was going to be a totally new experience for us. Paul and Joy's house was located so conveniently to everything!! They had told us we wouldn't need a car while we were there and that everything was within walking distance...and it is absolutely true. The only time we used our car was to get to and from the airport and to drive out to a place where we went on a boat excursion to Somes Sound. You can walk out the front door of Moose Manor and be at the bike/kayak rental place in 2 minutes and dozens or restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream places, shops, etc. within 3-6 minutes. And the harbor and Shore Path are only a 5-minute walk away. It was WONDERFUL! The house itself is spotless, cozy, nicely decorated and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch with its big windows and very much appreciated having a washer and dryer available. And Paul and Joy were so kind to give us lots of information about Bar Harbor and things to do there before we went. Finally, we really enjoyed that there was a keypad code to the front door and that we didn't have to mess with a key all week. We already had lots to take with us whenever we went hiking, biking, kayaking, etc., so that was a really nice convenience that my husband and I commented on several times while we were there. Bottom line...we LOVED Moose Manor and Bar Harbor. It truly was one of our best vacations ever!

We are Paul and Joy Strathman and we had lived in the Midwest for the past 25 years. It all began when we took a trip to Maine, simply because we'd never been there before.

Since then, we've been back to various parts of Coastal Maine every year and while we enjoy all the towns we've visited, we have fallen hopelessly in love with Bar Harbor. As so often happens when one visits a very special place, one's mind wanders into the possibilities of someday living there.

Moose Manor Bar Harbor is truly a dream come true. This 1904 New England-style residence is perfectly located right in town; walking distance to everything. We have filled Moose Manor Bar Harbor with things we love and have included all the comforts that we enjoy when we are there. We hope that you will enjoy our very special home and likewise fall in love with Bar Harbor.

While on one of our early visits to Bar Harbor, we went for a walk. As we passed by this house, my wife said, 'Paul, please buy me that porch!' We both chuckled and continued our walk. Little did we know that we would not only someday buy the porch, but the wonderful home which sits behind it as well!

This inviting home has been lovingly cared for by each owner since the house was built in 1904. We are only the 4th family to own this property. The warmth and charm of Moose Manor Bar Harbor is captivating and it's fabulous location cannot be beat!
