Bienvenue à Shangri La, notre petit coin de paradis. Profitez du lever du soleil sur l'océan Atlantique avec une tasse de café chaud et le ciel change de couleur dans l'après-midi.

Ceci est une townhome multiniveaux en bord de mer avec deux chambres et deux salles de bains. La chambre principale est située au dernier étage et la deuxième chambre est située au rez-de-chaussée. La maison de ville peut accueillir 8 personnes confortablement! Le concept ouvert, cuisine entièrement équipée offre beaucoup d'espace de comptoir et beaucoup de lumière naturelle. Le salon a une vue imprenable sur la plage et l'océan. Notre lieu est conçu pour le confort et le plaisir. Les couleurs sont vibrantes, le style est détendu et tout est peu d'entretien.

Quel est notre meilleur atout? L'accès à la plage.
Le garage est plein de "jouets"; planches de paddle, planches de surf, planches de bodyboard, chaises de plage, parasols et parasols. Nous facilitons la détente avec les orteils dans le sable ou l'activité dans l'eau. Gardez un œil sur la faune! Vous pouvez souvent voir des dauphins jouer dans les vagues, surtout au crépuscule et à l'aube. Pendant les mois d'hiver, l'observation des oiseaux est presque difficile à ne pas faire. Pendant l'été, vous pourriez voir des tortues pondant des œufs la nuit (assurez-vous de ne pas les déranger ou les effrayer!)

Melbourne Beach est une petite ville pittoresque avec beaucoup d'entreprises locales. Vous cherchez une aventure gourmande? Le Melbourne Beach Market propose une charcuterie unique et merveilleuse et une sélection de vins impressionnante. Juste en face de la chaussée est Old Melbourne, un quartier historique qui offre plus de restaurants locaux et de petites boutiques.

So close to everything, Publix to the south, Walmart and bait shop to the north. House has everything you need!! Our favorite place to stay!

Wonderful stay

My family and I had a wonderful week at Shang Ri La. Their home is amazing, well stocked and the views can not be beat. Any questions a had were answered almost instantly. We are looking forward to another stay here!

Great Stay

Been coming down to Melbourne Beach for the last 7 years, best place to stay with kids due to all the bunk beds on the bottom floor. Great Kitchen, Laundry machines, boogie boards and surf boards in the garage. Owners are super outgoing and easy to get in touch with! Would love to stay here again next year! Shangrila Rocks!

Family New Year get away.

Stayed at Shangra La for the New year to visit with family living in the area. We had such a beautiful vacation. We could not have asked for a more lovely place to stay. The owners could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Would recommend.

Our stay was wonderful. This special spot is truly a Shangrila! Steps away from the beautiful beach!

They’ve truly thought of everything! Plenty of sleeping accommodations, yet open and roomy. This place is warm and welcoming with everything you need for an easy, ocean-side getaway. Steps from the beach, the views over the ocean are everything. We’ll be back!

Condo on the Ocean: our perfect Shangrila

Appropriately named, Shangrila, this Unit stops at nothing short of spectacular…ocean breezes, colorful morning sunrises and the relaxing sound of waves. Like staying with a dear friend, our hosts thought of everything..fully equipped and tastefully decorated…right down to all the beach toys and Space launches watched right from the balcony. Who says Shangrila is an imaginary place!

Idyllic Getaway

This was an amazing, beautifully decorated, multi-level beachhouse with fantastic views of the ocean. The beach was breathtaking and not at all crowded, which sometimes made it feel like our own private sanctuary. The sunrises were spectacular. We even witnessed a fisherman catch a shark! Boogie boards, surf boards, beach chairs and umbrella were all available for our use. The owners communicated everything very well and check in was seamless. Shangri La certainly lives up to its name and Melbourne Beach is a hidden gem. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.

Wonderful Christmas Stay at Shangrila!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. From the communication when first booking to the arrival and the stay, communication with Marianne was excellent. The property is a 4 level condo with direct view of the beach from the main living area. The kitchen is well-lit, bright and fully supplied with every essential a family would need, from pots, pans, casserole dishes, bowls and numerous serving platters, you are set. The unit sits directly on the beach and 20 paces outside your backdoor you are in the sand on a fairly private beach with no high rises and loud clatter of tourists around. Excellent!

Great place for kids

A very kid friendly place to stay! Who doesn’t like bunk beds for kids right!!!?? The kitchen was awesome and all the door walls all had blinds which is great when the sun heats up! Kitchen had all the amenities you’ll need to make meals. Fans in kitchen have remotes, how cool is that. There are bikes and paddle boards and surf boards in the garage to use! We loved it here and hope to come back next year! Shangri-La was indeed a magical place! Garreth & Kristi

Every detail covered....

Marianne's condo was perfect for our family getaway. With four teenage children, there was plenty of room in the downstairs bunk room and the master bedroom with loft area provided ample space. It was impeccably clean and provided every possible amenity necessary for a week at the beach. We had a couple cool days so did not spend them all on the sand, but the location allowed for easy access to get to know the area. Marianne was easily reachable to answer any questions, with very quick response time. Would highly recommend!!

Easter Break 2023

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful multi-level townhouse. We are a family of five (with 3 teens) and had plenty of space for our seven night stay. The unit itself has tons of character with an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean from the upper balcony and living room area. The beach is just a few feet away and very private. There are places to eat just a few miles away or you could switch it up and stay in and utilize the fully stocked kitchen. Thank you Marianne and Edgardo for the great communication and allowing us to stay at the Shangri-La! 🌴 - The O'Brien's (New Jersey)

Siblings Reunited

Our reasons for traveling was a nervous experience for we were reuniting our daughter with her brother. But Marianne & Edgardo helped make us feel more relaxed. The owners are very proud of providing a great experience for their guests. The little touches such as personal body products, spices and condiments, and everything you need for playing in the sand. They provide above and beyond my expectations and what I packed thinking what I might need. Fast responses to my questions. The number of beds provided accommodated large families and the kitchen is stocked accordingly. I can not say enough of how I would highly recommend their place.

If you love want to be AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE OCEAN - stay here!

My family and I spent almost 2 weeks at Shangrila. The hosts were very friendly and the place was perfect for our needs. The condo is completely stocked with every single thing you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. It is bright and plenty of light throughout the unit as there are vaulted ceilings- an open floor plan- and lots of windows to let the Florida sunshine in. One of the best parts of this condo is the proximity to the water. If you LOVE the ocean and the beach, you will be thrilled because this home is as close as possible to the shore. Coffee every morning on the porch watching the sunrise and dolphins, and an easy walk 10 feet to the stairs when you’re ready to hit the beach. Ideal! We spent hours on the beach walking, looking for shells, reading in comfortable (provided) beach lounge chairs and playing in the water on provided boogie boards. Thank you so much, Marianne! We loved our stay!

Checking out Melborne Beach!

Overall, we loved our time at this townhouse. There were two problems that we let the owners know about the first one being dog fur all over the place :( we realize that that is a problem with the cleaning people and I let the owners know about it right away, and had to spend vacation time cleaning in order to feel comfortable here and they apologized. secondly, the bed was very low and very soft so if it is going to hamper your back in anyway it’s something to think about. Also, if you have trouble doing stairs, this is not the place for you. The stairs leading down to the beach, which are numerous over 18 stairs I believe, the bottom half of the stairs the railings have been washed out by the hurricane, which was five months ago, so it’s really inexcusable that the condo association has not repaired this so people can get down to the beach easily and safely. This has nothing to do with the owners definitely has everything to do with the complex association. All in all it was a gorgeous unit, and we felt like we were at home, and the owners go away out of the way to make you feel welcomed and the extra things that they have there for you are amazing ! The basket of snacks, the bottle of “welcome wine”, all of the books and games for kids, not to mention the bikes in the garage that we loved using, and all of the surfing equipment and beach stuff just shows that they want you to feel welcome here and have a wonderful getaway.

Thank you Cindy, I am glad you overall had a good time! The overpasses to the beach are being fixed as we speak. As you probably could tell from walking on the beach, we were lucky! We still have beach, stairs and minimum erosion. However, when storms hit any area it sometimes takes awhile to get things back to normal, since the companies that can provide the needed services quickly book up. Great location

Several snags…the water pouring out of the ice maker in the freezer, ceiling fan didn’t work. Didn’t realize it was plugged into an outlet?!? The location was great for us as my mother and sister live across the road. Owners were lovely.

Family beach reunion

The condo was clean and provided great amenities including paddle board and beach chairs. Check in was smooth. We had perfect weather, perfect view and perfect beach. One thing the condo could use is screens on all the slider doors. It would be nice to open them for cross breeze and no bugs. At least the family room patio had them.

Amazing!

This townhouse is wonderful! It is well stocked with everything you could possibly want including boogie boards, surf boards, paddle boards, chairs. We brought our own surf boards and paddle board but they have them already there if you need them. Great surfing and fishing area!

A wonderful oasis in paradise

The house is an amazing three-level home with sweeping views of the ocean. It felt immediately comfortable and intimate in a single move. Would absolutely stay again.
