Entièrement rénové et magnifiquement mis à jour en 2013 avec un nouveau plan d'étage. Une cuisine bien équipée dispose de nouveaux comptoirs en granit, des appareils en acier inoxydable, des armoires à fermeture douce, des planchers de tuiles et la liste continue! Adjacent est une grande salle à manger parfaite pour se divertir.

Cette spacieuse maison de 4 chambres et 4 salles de bain est située à un demi pâté de maisons de la plage de sable de Sombrero. Profitez des après-midis dans la piscine cristalline et surdimensionnée ou apportez votre bateau pour des sorties de pêche et de plongée en apnée au-dessus de nos abondants récifs de corail.

Les caractéristiques uniques de cette maison sont une rampe de bateau privé (10 pieds de large), un quai de 52 pieds plus une aire de lancement de kayak / SUP de 6 pieds, et 100 pieds de front de mer. Un cong��lateur d'appâts est fourni pour vos prises fraîches. Pour ceux qui se prélassent au bord de la piscine, cette maison comprend une salle de bains pratique au niveau du sol.

La première suite de maître a un lit king et salle de bain complète avec double lavabos, carrelage et douche en verre. Accessible depuis la chambre principale, vous pourrez accéder à un grand porche grillagé et profiter du café du matin ou d'un après-midi de vin et de détente. La deuxième suite de maître a également un lit king, salle de bain complète et a accès à la véranda. Les 2 chambres queen partagent une salle de bain avec combo douche / baignoire. 4 télévisions à écran plat LCD, dont une chaîne de plus de 50 pouces avec câble HD dans le salon et des téléviseurs 32 pouces dans les chambres à coucher; DVD et Internet sans fil fourniront tout le luxe de la maison.

* S'il vous plaît noter ... le lot vacant à côté de cette maison est prévu pour commencer une nouvelle construction de maison en septembre 2019. Nous prévoyons que cette construction durera au moins 12 mois.

This was an amazing home for all of us to stay in. Very clean, great layout with Pool and dock. Big plus was The Boat launch on property. Location was just five minutes out of the canal to the ocean. This was such a perfect vacation home that we decided to make another reservation for mini season 2026.

I cannot say enough good things about this home! It's beautiful, very spacious, quiet and CLEAN! This home is loaded with absolutely everything you need for a great vacation. Easy access to open water if you bring a boat and easy access to Sombrero beach! Rental company was great too! We will definitely be back!

Perfect spot in the Keys for 2 families with young kids

I can’t imagine a more perfect house for a couple families to vacation in the keys! The ocean was three minutes away by boat, the fishing from the dock kept the kids entertained for hours, and the ramp made for easy paddleboard and kayak launches. We spent hours on the screened porches and in the pool, and the wonderfully stocked kitchen was a huge bonus. The short walk to Sombrero beach and the short drive to Publix made this an ideal location. We’ll be back!

Wonderful Place for a Girl Trip!

We really enjoyed our stay in Marathon! The location is excellent with a short walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and shopping. We loved the heated pool! The layout of the house was good with separated sleeping areas and a great room in the middle. The one exception was that the "extra or 1/2 bath" was downstairs in the garage area. This worked great for coming in from the beach or pool but left one bedroom across the house from a bathroom. It also seemed like the house could use a good deep cleaning. The house is really nice in a wonderful location and a nice neighborhood and we would highly recommend it!!

Recent Vacation

We had a great time and the house was beautiful! Wonderful location and close to everything. Frustration was more with the management company and lack of communication/response about small items. Possibility of early check in - no response. Hair dryer on site - no response. Called on our last day to see how things were, reminded them that we'd being leaving in about an hour to drop keys off (as previously communicated) arrived and no one was there. The house on the side of us was under construction - NOISE was very annoying! Would have been nice to have had a heads up!!

We are surprised to see you were frustrated with the lack of communication from us. In reviewing our email correspondence we noted, we received your email regarding the hair dryer on 2/25 at 1:22p and we replied the same day at 3:03p. We received your email inquiry regarding an early check-in on 2/25 at 1:19p and we replied the same day at 2:24p. We have had a construction notice posted on all of our marketing platforms for this property since we were informed of the construction start. And just in case a guests departs while we are away from the office, we have a drop box located right by our front door, as a convenience for guest to deposit their keys. Thank you for staying with us and come again soon!

Perfect family vacation

The home is beautiful! Very clean, plenty of room for our family of 6, and a wonderful location! We rented kayaks to take advantage of the water access and spent many hours in the beautiful pool in the backyard. We enjoyed a day trip to Key West, fulfilled a life long dream of swimming with dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center and basked in the sun on the wonderful beaches. Perfect home and perfect location to spend quality time with the family!

Left it cleaner than I found it

I was very surprised that a rental of that cost would not come with an adequate supply of cleaning products, toilet paper, and paper towels. Good thing my friend brought them with him from Panama City. None in the stores either due to COVID-19. The stove was terribly dirty. I bought glass stove cleaner and worked on that for a good day or so. Looked fabulous when I was done. Had to get my own propane exchange. Then fixed their grill because it didn’t work. Placed a new regulator on the grill. The amount of laundry requested to be done by check out is ridiculous. Black mold in the front loader washer was concerning. Nice place. I’m sure the above is not the owners fault but they should know how the management company rates. I feel I should get the cleaning fee as I left it cleaner than I found it.

To clarify the points you mentioned: We notified incoming guests in advance there was a shortage of basic essentials on the island due to Covid 19 and encouraged guests to bring these items with them from the mainland. We are glad your friend was able to do so. When you notified us the grill was not working, we replied letting you know we would send our maintenance man to fix it. You choose to buy the parts and fix it yourself. Note, you have left us the receipt and we are reimbursing you for these items. Additionally, we instruct guests to notify us immediately if they find the stove or any area of the house not cleaned to their satisfaction. A quick call to our office would have resulted in the cleaning crew being sent to the house to address anything that did not meet your expectations. We hope you can come again soon and relax and enjoy your stay!

Nice Place...Few Drawbacks

Great house, however be aware of the following ... Pros: Location is great, five min walk to Sombrero Beach, central location is ideal with Publix grocery store close by. The house is layed out nicely with plenty or room. Cons: No toilet paper in bathrooms...not even to get you started. No garbage bags are supplied. The bath towels are in poor condition...dingy white, very thin and some holes in them too. The couch and loveseat are terribly uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Wasn’t a fan of the rental agency calling one morning to advise the pest control company would be coming out. I told them they could take care of the exterior of the house, but not the inside with our belongings inside. In departing they want you to start a load of laundry...what if you don’t have laundry soap? I didn’t go on vacation to do laundry.

Please note, our cleaners supply a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom as well as trash bags for each trash can. Upon arrival, if you found there was an oversight and these items were not in your rental home, a quick call to our office would have resolved the issue immediately and would have resulted in someone bringing these items to you. Towels are replaced regularly in our homes, older towels can be missed when we rotate in the new ones. These too, could very easily have been brought to you as well. Our office is conveniently located right in the center of Marathon and we advise all guests at check-in to reach out to us if anything is out of the ordinary or not in keeping with your expectations at your rental home. Waiting until you depart and making us aware in an online review does not give us the opportunity to resolve the issue and provide the missing items while you are here. Additionally, departure procedures ask guests to start a load of linens to help the cleaners get a jump start on the cleaning process. Help us help you next time, please reach out should you need our assistance, so we can ensure your rental home meets all your expectations.

Exceeded our expectations

The home was lovely with a great kitchen, which we made the most of. We saw lots of opportunities for outdoor activities, but we enjoyed the home/pool/location so much that we didn't venture out often. There are two screened in porches that were wonderful for morning coffee. Sombrero Beach was a 2-3 minute walk away. (Don't miss the sunsets and night sky!) I would suggest bringing a device and cord to hook to the tv if you want to watch movies. (If there was a way to do that, we couldn't figure it out.) We did take the 1 hour drive to Key West for a ghost tour, which was a lot of fun. Overall, the house exceeded our expectations, we would definitely rent it again.
