Très charmant, chaleureux et rustique Une véritable expérience de la cabine! (8 personnes) 2 Bdrm w / Loft, 1 lit queen, 1 lit double, 2 lits jumeaux, et 1 Hide-a-bed. 1 Bain Cuisine complète w / micro-ondes, TV / magnétoscope / Sat / DVD, cheminée, bûches, pin noueux et planchers de bois. Isolé dans les arbres. Très rustique. Très propre. Une vraie expérience de la cabine. I’ve stayed at many cabins in Greer but this may be my new favorite. 4 adults for 3 nights. Drove out to Alpine for the day and Big Lake. Fun Saturday at Molly Butler’s and finished Sunday breakfast at The Rendezvous Cafe. All favorites. Cabin is back off the road with plenty of privacy. Super clean. Easily slept 2 couples and had two futon couches that could accommodate kids if needed. Definitely recommend this cabin.

wonderful cabin

we've stayed at the Montgomery's cabin before, and we'll keep coming back. it's a wonderful CABIN with log construction, wooden walls and ceilings, and a great woodburning fireplace. it's always clean and the hosts put up fall decorations.

Beautiful Cozy Cabin

We loved everything about the Montgomery Cabin. It was so cute, charming and cozy! The views were incredible and the huge fire place kept us so warm! They had everything we needed to cook & bbq, more then expected. It was a perfect birthday getaway, we will definitely be back again! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

wonderful cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to do it again. The cabin was all in beautiful knotty pine, and nice and clean. Speaking of wood, one of the best parts of the cabin is the great wood burning fireplace. The kitchen has the patina of a cabin which has served meals to generations of happy families - wonderful feel.

A hidden gem in the heart of Greer!

My husband and I just stayed 4 nights at the Montgomery cabin and it was amazing!!! The cabin was so cute and quaint and had everything we needed. It’s close enough to great creeks and Big Lake where we did some hiking and fishing. Each night we enjoyed a nice warm fire while we made dinner. I’ve already shared the link with several people as I highly recommend this cabin!

Nice cabin in winter

This cabin is well setup for those traveling to Greer. 4WD is necessary with snow due to slope of the drive. Provided firewood was appreciated and utilized. Books were a nice touch. Overall a nice little cabin.

Adventure and relaxing

Out for hiking and then off to fishing. Back to the cabin, rest and refresh, then out to dinner. Evening time, comfortable on the porch listening to the wind in the trees, admiring the stars😴

Cute cabin

Lovely little cabin in the trees. We really enjoyed our stay and the communication of Cabin Butler. We also appreciated being able to get in early due to the snowstorm. They were so friendly and helpful and accommodating. We were super impressed!!! They even made sure our driveway was plowed each day. We were cozy and cared for. Very nice experience! Highly recommend!

Awesome And Magical Cabin

We just love this cabin with all of its special touches. The location is fabulous, secluded in the trees. Quaint, cozy and decorated beautifully. My husband's only remark was possibly a different couch where you are not leaning back so far. Not comfortable. I agreed with him. Thank you.

Quiet Time

This Cabin was truly a great place to visit. Check in and getting to the Cabin was a breeze. Our second day there, the owner came to introduce himself and let us know if we needed anything to let him know. The only concerns we had while our visit were the seating in the living room was not comfortable enough for 4 people and were not the cleanest. These are truly minor concerns and would not stop me from renting again!

The owners are extremely nice. They live right above this rental. I would not want 8 people in this place. One bed is a full which is not favorable for 2 adults, other one is a queen and 2 upstairs were singles which only for children. The futon couch would not be suitable for 2. We had 6 at one time and that was to much for only one bathroom. The paper products are very frugal. Livingroom can not seat many due to futon and rocking chair only seats besides dinner table. Kitchen is only good for one person at a time. So this rental is nice although only a 3 star. Tough having owners able to see you at all times. Not comfortable at all if you have 8. 4 works due to living room size and 1 bbathroom.Cant say enough about owners. Extremely nice and helpful. Very pleasant.

Rustic getaway

Main reason we chose this property was the fact that they allowed 3 dogs! We were able to tether them on the porch during the day. Over all it was clean, found a few dead spiders. Not sure how long it had been since the last guests used it. Loved the nostalgic knotty pine interior and log exterior. Charming decor... very rustic everything. Built in the 1950's charm! The loft twin bedroom is fun for older kids, steep, narrow staircase not suitable for preschoolers. Beds were comfortable for a few nights,lots of bedding, towels etc and no dishwasher just added to the 50's charm!!! ha! Well equipped kitchen....but needs a set of plastic drinking glasses. LOTS of dishes, silverware, knives, etc. but only a few glasses, wine glasses etc. sobring some with you. The owner lives near by and very helpful! Parking is level and close to cabin which is located on a hill side. Had a very relaxing stay seeing the sights.

Disappointing Weekend

Our weekend getaway was less than perfect. While the listing states limited cell phone coverage, the listing also states WiFi. The WiFi never worked. Called from land line in cabin the 1st day, no response. Went into office 2nd day, no action and no update provided. Very disappointing customer service. Had to drive to street corner just to get connection to tell family to call land line in case of emergency. And not 100% sure that phone received calls either.
