Francis Creek Retreat, construit en 1881, est l'une des premières maisons dans le village victorien historique de Ferndale. En plus d'être confortable, propre et bien aménagée, notre maison ensoleillée de deux chambres est à quelques pas de la rue Main. Il est à une minute de marche des fantastiques restaurants, bars, boutiques, parc et même des terrains de pétanque de la ville! Belle et sauvage Centerville Beach est un pittoresque cinq miles en voiture. Nous aimons cette maison et sommes confiants que vous apprécierez votre séjour à Ferndale.

L'espace

Francis Creek House est un confortable et mignon deux chambres, une salle de bain (douche seulement) à la maison avec une grande cuisine, salon et salle à manger. La table de bistro et le barbecue au propane sur la grande terrasse arrière sont parfaits pour profiter d'une journée ensoleillée et l'ambiance tranquille de Francis Creek, qui court derrière la maison. Cette maison est l'une des plus anciennes de notre ville, et nous aimons la façon dont vous pouvez voir les poutres de cèdre taillées à la main dans la cuisine.

La maison a le wifi partout et la télévision par câble dans le salon. Les lits et les tapis sont neufs et l'intérieur de la maison est fraîchement peint. Nous avons de l'eau chaude à la demande et du chauffage à air pulsé. Il y a une buanderie avec une laveuse et une sécheuse pour votre usage. Profitez du café du Keurig le matin. La cuisine a des casseroles et des casseroles et une épicerie un pâté de maisons pour le petit déjeuner à la maison, ou partez dans les cafés locaux dans la rue pour un copieux petit déjeuner Ferndale.

Francis Creek Retreat est juste à quelques portes du plus grand arbre de Noël illuminé vivant, et un endroit confortable pour regarder la Ferndale Lighted Tractor Parade, qui passe devant la porte d'entrée de la maison chaque Décembre!

I grew up in Ferndale, and this place is nicely sized and perfectly located to explore the town with a small family. The house was comfortable and had great amenities. We will be staying again.

Relaxing retreat

We loved this little house. It was perfect for our book trip weekend. Loved the charm and history. We parked and walked all over. Location is great. Hope to come back and stay here again. Definitely recommend

The darling 1880's cottage was wonderful !! Very clean and inviting. Definitely a home away from home. We have stayed in Ferndale several times in the past but never so close to town. Very convenient to walk a minute or two to visit the local stores. The owners have thought of everything when it came to supplies. We cooked most of our meals at home. We had all that we needed. Very relaxing and restful stay. Plan to return in the future. Thank you.

Wonderful time in a Fun town

We enjoyed our visit to the town of Ferndale. The house felt like home and was in walking distance to everything. I would recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in a fun Victorian town.

Loved this cozy home!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The house looks small on the outside but is actually quite roomy and very comfortable. It was impeccably clean, with thoughtful details throughout, comfortable beds, a very well appointed kitchen, and even some toys, which our preschooler loved playing with! We also really appreciated the washer and dryer onsite, which came in handy after getting soaked and muddy on rainy forest hikes. All in all, a great place to stay. Thank you Kathleen!

Excellent home away from home

We enjoyed our stay in this nicely appointed home! Very clean and comfortable, and our hosts provided everything needed for a great stay! Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Ferndale. Only slight negative is bath could use more lighting but that would not prevent us from staying here again. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay in Ferndale. It is a charming town. This home was super clean, well appointed and the communication with the owners/host was top notch. Great location with an easy stroll to the main part of town. We would recommend this house. Our only constructive comment is that the listing implies a private back deck. It is shared with a back rental unit and you would have full view of their front door and the guests coming and going. Fortunately there were no guests in the second unit when we were there. You also have full view of the two neighboring properties and their activity. We ended up not using the back deck since it was not as private and secluded as we were expecting.

Perfect Ferndale Getaway

We loved our stay here. The house is in a great location, just a block or two away from the center of Ferndale. We were able to walk less than 5 minutes to all the shopping and dining options in town and return to this homey retreat afterward. The owner was extremely responsive when I had a question, too. We also really appreciated how clean everything was. The owner clearly put a lot of care and upkeep into maintaining the property. It was a real pleasure to stay here.

This charming farmhouse in Ferndale California was perfect for our visit with family living nearby. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Only a couple miles away from the ocean. We were able to barbecue on the back deck and the kitchen is well appointed.

Ferndale at Halloween

A wonderful farmhouse reminded me of my childhood home. Thank you for all the amenities. The town was especially decked out for Halloween. Fall is the best time to visit north coast

Cute and Convenient!

This little house was just perfect for my family to use. I have two little boys and it was great to have a place where they can play and wind down. This house is located perfectly for walking downtown Ferndale and getting to the beach. We were able to walk to dinner every night and visit the park in the afternoons where the boys loved to play. The house had everything we needed to cook and feel right at home. The boys even had breakfast on the back patio on morning! We can't wait to visit again!

Perfect spot in the heart of Ferndale!

We visit Ferndale regularly, but this was our first time looking for a rental home. We were specifically looking for something with space for our two boys, ages 7 and 10, that was available last minute. This quaint little house has it all. At the quiet end of town (really, though - Ferndale is nothing but quiet!), we loved the ability to walk everywhere yet still be tucked away from it all. Adorably decorated and super cozy - staying in has never been so fun! Whether it was trips to the beach, bbq'ing on the back deck or grabbing ice cream down the street, the Francis Creek Retreat is the place to call home in Ferndale. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and even those things you may have forgot to pack. The beds were comfy and hard to get out of in the morning, and we loved the regular evening visits of deer. We will be back :)

Such a beautiful quiet town

Coming from the mountains of Colorado, we did not expect Ferndale to be such a quiet place. Other than the dogs barking once, you don’t hear a thing from this cute house. It was the quietest place we have ever been to. The natural environment must absorb all the sounds. You don’t even wake up to any birds singing. Unbelievable how you could sleep until noon if you forget to set an alarm. We loved the town, house location and especially the lost coast road. The local beach was also so beautiful watching the seals pop up from the waves to say hi. We are so thankful we did not stay further north by the national park. We want to come back someday and try more restaurants in town. Only negative on the house is the lack of dishwasher. Adding a small one even in the laundry room would make the home complete. Thanks for the fun stay. The house had everything we needed! Picking the wild blackberries everywhere made the trip even better. We needed one more day to make the fresh berry pie. Next time. Cheers.
