Bienvenue! Notre poteau et poutre de vigne classique dégage une atmosphère pittoresque et rustique avec des détails uniques - cuisine complète avec cafetière Keurig, four à micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, deux chambres au premier étage (la chambre à l'arrière a un lit Queen et une entrée privée sur le pont arrière; la 2e chambre a des lits jumeaux) avec buanderie et salle de bain complète. Un grand maître loft au deuxième étage dispose d'un lit à baldaquin Queen, salle de bains complète, balcon privé et une bibliothèque / salon. Profitez de la magnifique vue sur la nature depuis la majestueuse fenêtre du salon ou prenez un bain de soleil / admirez les étoiles sur la grande terrasse arrière avec barbecue au gaz et éclairage de style café pour vos réceptions nocturnes. Notre chemin à travers les bois, sur le ruisseau Coca Cola, vous amène à l'extrémité privée de la plage de Lambert's Cove, avec ses eaux tranquilles et ses magnifiques couchers de soleil. C’est vraiment un lieu privilégié pour renouer avec la famille et / ou les amis. WiFi et télévision avec DVD inclus.

Charming rustic home with amazing sunset viewing

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, rustic home. Located in a somewhat secluded area away from the heavy-traffic in the town, it worked great as home base to explore the island. The master suite on the second floor is spacious with a small balcony and large bathroom. Plenty of shelves, dressers and closet space. The narrow spiral stairs to the second level are a little precarious and hard to maneuver with luggage. Anyone with mobility issues may wants to stay in one of the two smaller rooms on the main floor. Kitchen has new appliances and all the basics we needed. The semi private beach area is a real bonus. Beautiful sunset viewing! The walk there is less than 10 minutes through the woods on a narrow path and down a short but steep dune. Well worth the effort! The house is set back from the road up a long dirt driveway. Very quiet and peaceful setting. We would gladly stay here again.

Best of MVY

The Hill House is an amazing property in every sense of the word -- The House itself is incredibly cozy while being architecturally beautiful ... it has great indoor space as well as outdoor space. We had every meal on the deck and also enjoyed the fire pit. The location can't be beat -- Lamberts Cove is hands down the best beach on the island and the fact that you have a walking path to the private section of Lamberts makes it a no-brainer. The sunsets at the beach are amazing -- think Menemsha without the crowds. You feel completely remote yet your 10 minutes from Vineyard Haven and about 20 from Menemsha or OB. And finally it was a pleasure to deal with the owners of this cottage -- very amenable and immediate answers. We have been renting in the Vineyard for decades and this house is by far my favorite.

Perfect In Every Way!

LOVED staying here! Beautiful, short walk to the amazing Lambert's cove. Convenient to EVERY part of the island by car. A great kitchen, living and bedroom room arrangement for our family. The upstairs loft/bedroom is accessible by a spiral staircase - perfect for teens! We loved staying here and hope to return soon!

Rustic beach oasis

Our time spent here couldn’t have been more enjoyable. The house had an adorable chic, rustic vibe that accommodated our family of six comfortably. The 5 minute walk on a wooden pathway lead us to a practically private beach where we spent the days with our toes in the sand, rallied the family for a few competitive kayak races and watched amazing sunsets before heading back to the house to enjoy dinner on the deck under cafe lights and stars. The perfect place to spend our family vacation.

Dream Spot

The perfect hideaway on Martha's Vineyard. Our family truly enjoyed this rustic but magic home. The short walk to Lamberts Cove Beach was our favorite part. The best sunsets on the island and the clear waters will be missed. Thank you Angela and Russel for sharing your place with us.

charming cottage in the woods

We had a wonderful time here. The house is cute and charming, with a huge two-story window in the living room overlooking the woods, and a lovely path that takes you (a 5-10 minute walk) to a beautiful private beach that is adjoining/continuous with Lamberts Cove Beach. Seth's Pond and other ponds are also very nearby. We had amazing weather -- went to the beach or a pond every day. You have the best of both worlds in this location-- beautiful woods and beach but close enough to Cronig's market, Vineyard Haven stores and great restaurants so that you can get to civilization easily if you need to! Russell (the owner) and a neighbor were extremely helpful and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.
