It was a beautiful rental that was excellently maintained. The property manager was kind and courteous. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely visit again in January,2017.

We had a wonderful stay. We arrived an hour or so earlier than we expected, were able to meet the local host who was lovely. The unit was fully outfitted for all of our cooking needs (the store is right across the street), they also provided rackets for the tennis court (next to the unit, which was not disruptive via noise or lighting), and even buckets and shovels for sandcastles which the kids loved. The first-floor location was ideal, limiting the need to climb stairs when accessing the beach which was directly out front. There are both stairs and a ramp to access the unit from the parking side. We really enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Perfect 2 master bedroom unit

Wonderful communication from the owner and his property manager. Hurricane Beryl became known the day we left for Cayman. Property owner called and allowed us to bow out if we wanted. We did not bow out and ended up safe and sound in this unit. Property Owner was amazing and ready to place us elsewhere. We stayed in the unit and had no fears and no damage. Great Owner and property manager (brought us a battery lantern).

Great stay on the east end!

Great stay on the east end of the island. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. Chloe was very helpful with anything we asked about. We stayed in June so it wasn’t crowded at all. Italian restaurant across the street was good and we also ate at Tukka twice. Took the sting ray city tour from Rum Point and also toured the Crystal Caves. Lovely place.

Rainy stay

Property was clean and nice. Had issues with resort telling us we didnt have access to gym. Would also not let us use basketballs, volleyballs, corn hole bags etc. which would of been nice to know as we could have brought that stuff with us. Also did not get any directions on what to clean up at the end of the stay. Nice place any we will return, thanks!

Wyndham Reef Castaway Cove

We love staying at this property as a whole. It is steps to the beach and you have access to the pools, hot tub, restaurant and bar. There is a small grocery store, liquor store, gift shop and a great Italian restaurant right across the street. Also it is easy driving to Crystal Caves, Rum Point, Kaibo and Starfish Point.

Beautiful unit, great location and great service! It truly is a piece of paradise. Being able to directly walk out to beach was a great way to start each morning. Owner John and Property Manager Chloe were awesome. We hope to be able to stay again!

We purchased this unit at the Cast Away Cove on the East End of Grand Cayman in 2018. We have owned at this resort for over 25 years and purchased a 1/4 share of a 2 bedroom condo in 2015. John is on the MAC board for the timeshare side and The ExCo board for Castaway Cove. Prior to this we rented several seasonal condos at the Racquet Club in Scottsdale Arizona so we are familiar with vacation rentals

This is a great location on the Island side of Grand Cayman. We first visited Grand Cayman with our children for a summer vacation in the late 90s. While we were staying on the East End we ventured into town but after exploring the island, we fell in love with the East End because of its tranquility and beauty. We love to hike, bike, snorkel, and scuba dive and not being big city fans, we fell in love with the sparsely developed East End vs. the concrete jungle of 7 mile beach and West Bay. We were lucky enough to find a seller with a corner unit on the ground floor adjacent to the tennis courts which remains one of the best located units in the development of 53 condos!

If a hurricane warning is issued by the National Weather Service in the Cayman Islands for the time of your stay and Cast Away Cove closes and you have not arrived on island, a refund will be issued for your entire stay with no penalties. If a Hurricane warning is issued during your stay and you leave the Island, the remaining days of your stay plus $200 will be refunded with no penalties. This is our worry free guarantee.

We love getting up in the morning, walking out the sliding glass doors five feet from the beach and enjoying our coffee while looking at some of the most beautiful sunrises we've ever seen. Later in the day, it is wonderful to be able to walk right outside, carrying your pool gear and not having to lug everything down the stairs or to an elevator! The close parking right in front of the unit makes carrying groceries, swim gear, etc. very easy. We'd love to host you for a fabulous vacation!

Restaurants Close by our condo
Reef Resort, Beach bar and Tides. Happy hour 4-6 everyday with drink specials and happy hour snacks such as calamari, conch fritters and pizza. Tides has formal dining and The barefoot Man on Thursday night. On property!
Italian Kitchen, Troy and Audrey owners open Tues- Sunday. Across the street. Great seafood dishes, pasta and Pizza. The garlic knots are awesome.
Tukka, Australian fusion with a Cayman Flair (I know it sounds weird but it’s very good). Walkabout Wednesday prix fix menu, fish Friday and happy hour. They will pick you up about 3 miles away, +1 345-947-2700
Caboose, About 10 minutes from the condo close to the intersection of Frank Sound Road and Queens Highway. Great local food at very reasonable prices. Best for lunch as the mosquitos can be bothersome at night if there isn’t a strong breeze.

Many other restaurants in the east end about a 10 minute drive from the condo.
