«Tupelo Honey» - Nouvelle maison haut de gamme offrant une vue magnifique sur le parcours de golf. Cette charmante maison de 4 chambres à coucher est située au centre de la forêt maritime de l’île exclusive Bald Head, qui surplombe le 11e fairway du country club BHI. À seulement 10 minutes à pied de la plage, cette résidence offre une vue extraordinaire sur la nature, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. Le plan d'étage ouvert est parfait pour recevoir avec des finitions architecturales incroyables dans toute la maison. La cuisine est conçue par les maîtres et est parfaite pour le chef de votre groupe! Cette beauté peut accueillir 8 personnes avec une suite principale au rez-de-chaussée avec un lit king-size et un espace bureau, deux chambres à l'étage à la fois avec lits queen et une salle de bain séparée pour chacune. Il y a aussi un loft (4ème chambre) qui comprend une télévision et peut accueillir deux personnes supplémentaires. Nous avons beaucoup de matériel de plage, barbecue, wifi et deux voiturettes de golf pour 4 passagers. Un abonnement temporaire au BHI Golf est également disponible à l'achat pendant votre séjour. Cela inclut un accès complet à la piscine du club BHI, à la salle de remise en forme, au golf, au croquet, au tennis et aux restaurants.

This home is so fun and adorably designed. We've been coming to bald head every year for about 6 years and this was our favorite place by far. Great location and the home was perfect for a big family group. We loved backing up to the golf course. We are hoping to return here every year. Loved it!

Beautiful location

The house itself was exactly as pictured with many wonderful amenities. Only complaints are that the living room couches and the mattress in the crofter are well past their life expectancy.

Women’s Retreat Weekend

💛💛💛🍯 This house was the absolute best for our women’s retreat weekend. We felt right at home instantly. I had a desk to work at in the lower level and there was lots of room to spread out in the beautiful great room. The quality of the home is the tippy top. So thankful to have gotten to enjoy it for a long weekend.

Gorgeous BHI retreat!

Tupelo Honey was the perfect getaway to take some overseas guests for some relaxation before the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was incredible- nicely decorated and beautifully designed. Everyone agreed that this was the nicest house we'd ever stay in. The kitchen was well appointed and there was plenty of space for 5 adults. We enjoyed afternoons on the deck and porch and especially had fun driving around in the golf carts. We would not hesitate to come back to the house again.

Beautiful home and setting

Decor simply beautiful and fun. Much care and thought went into quality materials and decorating! Location ideal for centralized access to all of the island. A disappointment was too firm bedding on all beds- some of our group really did not sleep well at all. Also seating in living area may need replacing-very low and no longer cushiony.

Peaceful Island Getaway

Tupelo Honey is a well-appointed home with a peaceful view of the golf course. Plenty of room for most families to spread out and have some private space. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal time. There was toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent and laundry detergent to last for a long weekend. The living room furniture truly does need to be updated, it was very uncomfortable to sit on for more than 45 minutes at a time. We did have to clean off the outdoor furniture upon arrival as that had been overlooked by the cleaning service but it didn't take very long to do. We would stay at Tupelo Honey again; it has a nice central location on the island near everything. Thanks for hosting us!

Beautiful home and location

Loved everything about the home with the exception of cleanliness. The kitchen counters, cabinets and table were sticky with food residue as if they had not been wiped down. Bathroom floors needed to be swept and mopped. There were no cleaning supplies for us to clean the areas that were left unclean. The towels were washed but were not clean, as if they didn’t use enough detergent. They were folded damp and put away which left them smelling like mildew. We know the house is big and it’s a lot to clean in an afternoon but common wiping down of cabinets and counters should be standard. The furniture in the living room needs to be replaced as well, you sit on the cushions and they slide out from underneath. Aside from these things the house has a great vibe and we had a great time.

Disappointed and Dirty

I have been coming to Bald Head Island for over 25 years and this was the second time I have rented with BHI Services. First, I would like to say that I made a mistake by booking this house. I was unaware that BHI Services was the rental company that serviced the property, and if I had known, I would not have even considered the house. This was not my first experience in one of their properties, but it is certainly my last. When my family and I arrived, we immediately did as much surface sanitation as possible, due to COVID-19, but we soon discovered bigger sanitation problems within the house; when we walked inside the house for the first time, there were visible food scraps on the floor from previous renters; when we opened the fridge, there were leftover, half eaten food containers inside; and after sanitizing the bathrooms thoroughly, there was still dirt, filth, and hair on the sinks and in the showers and bathtubs. Furthermore, because of a lack of adequate tools, I had to buy a new vacuum from the store, and after I vacuumed the floors and carpets one time, there was a bucket's worth of dirt and dust accumulated inside. Overall, I spent over 200 dollars on cleaning supplies for the house, and put in over 6 hours of work with my family to get it to a basic level of sanitation. In general and especially during the coronavirus, I had expected a higher level of sanitation, and what my family and I had to deal with was unacceptable. I have photos of the bags of dirt that came up in the vacuum cleaner— unbelievable. I had a previous experience with this company (different rental) last year. House was filthy. Renter beware!

We are on island 24-7 and have an after hours emergency line that we would have been happy to come over and care for any items that you needed taken care of. Do Not Go By The Picture

After 10 years of talking to my wife's Aunt and Uncle about Bald Head Island. We took weeks of researching the perfect home. It was our 25th wedding anniversary was on 4/3/2019 and we had all 3 of our children with us. 7 people total. We had stayed on Bald Head Island 10-15 times each time better than the one before renting through Bald Head Island rental management. Everything was GREAT until it wasn't. Once we arrived we found out that the (mother in law suite) that was pictured was being renovated and now our aunt and uncle could not have their own space and enjoy PARADISE. I called the management company about 15 minutes into arriving and they said they would call me back. We waited 3 hours with no call back and once I called and talked to them they said the (mother in law suite) was never a part of the rental package? there was a loft with a pull out sofa that could sleep 2 additional people was the 4th bedroom?? Which now was an inconvenience to the whole family and our stay on the island. It rain all day the next day I called again and asked if there were any golf carts available with the plastic protection that we could rent to go out to restaurants, the local market or exploring or could we rent the plastic shields for the existing golf carts - once again they said they would call me back. No one ever called back from the management team so we had to stay in the house the entire day. A full day lost. The home was beautiful and the people on the island made it a wonderful experience, but the communication and customer service from the management company was not what I was use to when visiting bald Head Island. We may look at other options in the future when renting our dream vacation home because when I go on vacation I shouldn't have to WORK so hard to make the vacation enjoyable. Please read descriptions very carefully before you book because the home you rent may not match the picture you see on the website? Signed, Disappointed guess

I am sorry you were not happy. Our phone number is posted on vrbo, our website and inside the property. You continued to call a real estate agent on the island outside of our renal company. We never received your messages because you were not calling our office or mobile. We even gave you our mobile number yet you continued to call someone else. We are always prompt with all of our guests. We clearly state in our description the bed configuration in our home. We do not list anything in our description about a crofter. I am sorry you felt mislead, but it is clearly stated the configuration of each room. We do not advertise cart covers on our carts. We are sorry about the rainy day while you were on your vacation. Again, our apologies for your disappointment. We take lots of pride in our home and we always make sure all of our guests have a great experience. We are always a call, text or email away and always respond immediately when contacted directly.

Tupelo Honey was great!

We had a great time at Tupelo Honey. The house had everything we needed. The golf carts were very zippy, which we appreciated a great deal. The only minor downside was that some of the kitchen utensils and cookware were not clean when we arrived. But the property manager was very responsive and immediately sent out a cleaning crew.

What A Fabulous Property!

Our group of 8 ranged from ages 22 - 73 and everyone of us had a fantastic time due to to the quality and layout of the property! We had all we needed to make ourselves at home yet be on vacation. Even with a few rainy days there was room for all of us to be together yet have our own space! The quality of custom construction and superior interior decoration really made us feel special guests!!

A vacay all about Mom

We enjoyed our stay! The home is centrally located to the market, ferry, beach, club, etc. which allowed us to get anywhere we wanted quickly. Perfect Island Escape

The house was so well appointed and laid out, it was a treat to spend a few days at Tupelo Honey. Its close to everything, the porch is a perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail while the sun sets over the golf course before making dinner in the incredible kitchen. We already can't wait to go back!
