Great off property option for a Disney vacation

Second time staying at Westgate and it was a great option for our vacation. Close to parks and free shuttle to drop us off and pick us up.

We enjoyed bn close 2 City Walk,Disney Springs, all the nice restaurants&groc

The pools were nice they had a lot of other activities like bowling,miniature golf,bowling,&the Waterpark we'll check out next trip down!

Great location

The resort was nice … they could have dusted and cleaned bathrooms better… my husband and I went and purchased cleaning products from the market and cleaned it. … … but overall great relaxing stay … we really enjoyed.

Very nice location. The staff was accommodating since our first room had no air conditioning. They moved us to another room with assistance from the Resort staff.

Best stay ever!!!!

We had an unbelievable time at this beautiful condo... so clean and beautiful... 8 mins from universal studio,12 minutes from Disney.. excellent location.. the pool we were in was not crowded with no more than 10 people on any of the 5 days we were there.. the owner was wonderful to work with. The entire experience was a15 out of 10. We will definitely be staying here in the future

Nice Property

Studio was clean, and very comfortable. Check-in was a little crazy - but was fine... the room and property are super convenient to Orlando activities and a safe very nice property. I was only in for a quick overnight so I did not have a chance to look at all the amenities the property offers. The owners were great and checked in with me via text to make sure all was well... nice touch!

Perfect place

Stayed here thurs thru Sunday in oct 2019. Everything was very clean, property was well appointed with shops, places for food, pools and alcohol and snack bars at the pool. Staff was friendly! And this was for every member- maids, handymen, bellhops... We used Shuttle service to Epcot, only wish was for a shuttle to and from airport. Had the 1 bedroom- bed was very comfortable, pull out sofa (didn’t use) cute screened in porch with furniture. Bathroom was nice separate toilet from shower and jetted bathtub. Will most certainly stay here again!!

Good location to visit theme parks

Our host was very responsive, even offering to help us book theme park tickets in advance of our trip. Our interactions were great. There were a few minor issues with the property that stopped us from enjoying it as much as we might have liked: one cockroach found in the bathroom (not unusual in Florida this time of year), a light that flickered so we just kept it off and the tv was not hooked up to service. Wasn't a problem to leave one light off and we only wanted to watch tv once, so overall, these minor things didn't impact our trip very much. Nicely located near Disney theme parks and the mini-market on the property was super convenient! The spa was nice. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Loud and noisy

I would not recommend for someone on a business trip. First room had antiquated air conditioning unit which sounded like a jet buzz saw going off every 15 min. Front desk told me others have complained about this. Second room was above basketball courts and pool. Constant kids screaming until 11 pm. Not the place for me.

Nice for the money

The room was dated and the linens were not great. The couch was terrible to sleep on and the mattress was super squeaky that it kept everyone up. We moved the mattress off the couch into the floor and finally was able to sleep but it was not comfy. The kitchenette area was cute and tidy. There was not a broom to sweep up a spill in the bathroom which kinda sucked but we made do. The shower door is very hard to open and my kid About freaked out thinking they were stuck. The staff was super nice and helpful, the grounds are beautiful!

Disappointing

We were not informed there was a $20/day/person charge for the lazy river, (which we specifically asked about before booking). The sliding glass door to the balcony was very hard to open, DVD player didn’t work, the phone in the room didn’t work, the coffee pot didn’t work (that was the only thing that got fixed.). We pretty much got the run-around anytime we attempted to get even one of those things addressed. Oh and discovered on the last day the tub didn’t hold the water. The second the faucet was shut off, you could hear it draining. There was also 87 kids in the hot tub, unsupervised, and there was a ton of leaves and things floating in it. Security saw all the kids in it and did nothing. My host was informed of all of this and did not respond at all. We only had contact with resort staff on property. I will never book a resort room owned by a 3rd party again. The host acted like he was not responsible for anything. Didn’t offer compensation or even respond once he knew there were issues.

Comfortable

Overall, well above average. Property and amenities were perfect for visiting the parks and relaxing afterwards. Grounds and multiple pools with spas were clean and well maintained. Security was visible both at the entry as well as on the grounds. Room with jetted tub, walk-in shower, microwave and fridge were nice to have. Unfortunately, a few room items could have been checked by the staff prior to our arrival. Sliding glass door to balcony needed a lot of effort to use, freezer was in major need of a defrosting and was almost useless, and the safe was not functioning (batteries?). Would definitely stay here again with a more thorough walk-through upon arrival.

Super location and on site amenities

Overall, a beautiful property. So many amenities on site. So close to all the major theme parks. Only 5 minutes to SeaWorld, 10 to Universal, 15-20 to all the Disney parks. Very easy access to I-4, shopping center and restaurants. Room could have been a little cleaner, the fridge door was sticky and dirty inside and all around and under it. Same with the bathroom floor, as well as the jacuzzi tub. They definitely needed a deep clean. The bed was super comfortable. Plenty of pillows and nice to have a little kitchenette as well. The grounds were beautiful and the pool areas were clean and fun.
