What a view! We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It has a beautiful view in the back. Check in was easy and communication with the owner was great. Cottage is in a good location not far from town.

A slice of Heaven

At the risk of this property being booked when I want to come back to Talkeetna, I loved this property. Eight of us booked 2 cabins and were pleasantly surprised they were next to each other. We were greeted by Whitney, the host who provided great information about the area. Our view of Denali and the range from the back deck of the 1st cabin was fabulous! Great location, clean cozy cabins and they were perfect for 4 people in each. There is a 3rd cabin to the left. Our next group visit, we will try to get all 3! Thanks Whitney for a wonderful stay!

Excellent view of the mountains, really loved and used the deck. Cabin was clean and cozy. There was plenty of room for our group of 4. We were lucky enough to get a great view of Denali. Spent a day travelling to the national park, a bit of a drive but highly recommend that. Overall a nice place to stay.

We had such a wonderful time here! Our family all felt it was very nice. Not too far from town but far enough that you felt able to enjoy the wild. The host was amazing and so helpful for our stay. 10/10, will be staying here if we are ever back in the area! We saw a moose and her twins just down the road!

The BEST view

We really liked our stay here, not least, because the mountain was out at around 6.30am when we woke up and wow, what a view to wake up to!TLDR: would stay again.To be aware of: 1) if you're not comfortable on gravel roads, it might be a touch hairy. We are, and had a 4WD rental, so it was a fun ride up the hill. 2) Only 1 of the 3 bedrooms with the mountain view (upstairs queen). But this means the communal space has the view too, so everyone can appreciate it. 3) Bathroom is downstairs. 4) Mosquitos, of course, are everywhere. We thought it wonderful that they included one of those electronic 'tennis raquets' to zap any that got inside.5) If you like long showers, this is not the place for you. The nature of the location means that you need to be conservative with water. There's enough, so long as you're not going crazy.6) If you're there in the summer, take a good eye mask with you.Bottom line: would stay again, and keep everything crossed for the glorious view once more.

Incredible views of the Mount McKinley mountain range

Popped in late for a quick overnight stay and we’re not at all disappointed. The views are spectacular and the accommodations are acceptable. I would recommend this property as more than satisfactory, especially for the price you pay.
