Condo was spacious and had a view of the ocean from the living room. Staff was very accommodating. The pool across the street was very nice.The elevator was not working most of the time we were there and the beach in front of the building was small and not scenic. The onsite restaurant was disappointing, but restaurants a few blocks away were excellent..

Amazing stay

Perfect location just steps from the beach and 5th av its a very quiet street yet near multiple convenience stores and clubs. The view from this condo is amazing its a big and spacious condo, we rented a car and it has secured parking garage available just for guests. The beach situation with the erosion right now is a problem all over Playa, nothing they can do about it but you also have access to the pools at El Taj Beach its like a little oasis. Loved the staff always super attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

You cannot beat the location - the condo is off of busy 5th Ave on a lush and quiet side street; restaurants, shops, and clubs are all within walking distance and you're right on the water! The ferry to Cozumel is an easy 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace and there are fishing and diving boats that go out right from the beach. The unit was spacious, and clean, and has amazing outdoor areas and views - perfect for sitting outside, having a drink, and listening to the surf. The staff is always incredibly helpful and gracious. We've been to Playa multiple times and the beach comes and goes depending on Mother Nature. As someone else mentioned this is an issue everywhere in Playa, not just El Taj. 10/10 would recommend and we'll be back soon!

We loved our accommodations so much. Pet friendly for our little Pomeranian. Worked well for our family of four, including two teen boys. The view from our room was stunning. The pool was gorgeous as well, plus it was a wonderful bonus to have our own private hot tub. We used it almost every night. The restaurant attached to hotel was not only convenient, but had great food, beautiful view and amazing service. Staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Gave good advice when we were looking for good beaches and places to eat. The property was well maintained and clean. Nice touch with the pond with the koi fish and turtle. As a mom, I loved that there was a washer and dryer so I could do laundry before we returned home, and having the kitchen throughout our stay was very nice. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

An awesome condo!

We had a really good experience. The condo was as advertised. The location was great. The beach club was handy and the food good. The only negative was not with the property, but rather the front desk staff and the registration. Upon check-in we were given 1 key for 4 adults, which was ok with me, we made do just fine. But at checkout they said we were given 2 keys, because it said on the registration that 2 was issued. The young lady that checked us in seemed rather new and inexperienced and she made a mistake. But they wanted to charge me $25 for the extra key that I never received. Anyway they said they would be able to review video footage to verify. But that remains to be seen. So, just make sure you are given 2 keys at check-in is my suggestion to you. Otherwise the service and staff were very helpful and attentive and housekeeping was available daily if requested. The wifi was not working, but not a big deal as we watched no movies or really required wifi. I did not ask for help with the issue as it was not a big deal for us. We did have spotty at&t service there. The pools were nice as were the grounds. There was not a lot of beach in this particular area, but there is plenty within walking distance. I would highly recommend this condo and this property to anyone.

Location and amenities are great

The property is located within walking distance to the main retail avenue, other popular beach clubs, restaurants and entertainment. The property has a restaurant/bar that provides breakfast all day, the pool is clean and the concierge is helpful in providing suggested dining and activities. I will state I was able to find better options for dinner and entertainment by simple Google searches. Speaking of Internet, the WiFi in the condo was more than sufficient for me and my wife to research our day's options and stay abreast of personal communications back home. The kitchen is fully stocked with dish and glassware for your convenience. Once I realized Laura was stateside and had direct Whatsapp contacts to the property, I felt at ease with the trip to come. The view from the master bedroom window was basically rooftops of other buildings in the area that are not as well maintained but the view from the deck area makes up for it. If you want a comfortable, safe, prime location for a Mexican Riviera beach getaway, this place is a great choice.
