Pittoresque et charmante 1 chambre dans le bâtiment historique est Downtown Seward

Cette charmante 1 chambre est située à seulement 1 pâté de maisons de Resurrection Bay et du centre Sea Life et à 1 rue des boutiques et des restaurants du centre-ville. L'un des bâtiments les plus anciens de Sewards et à l'origine une pension des anciens jours de chemin de fer, venez séjourner et faire partie de l'histoire de Sewards. Parlant de l'histoire, nous sommes juste derrière le musée / bibliothèque. Cette location a été entièrement rénovée mais nous avons conservé un peu du charme ancien. La cuisine a un brûleur à plaque unique, four à convection, micro-ondes et un réfrigérateur. Aussi 1 chambre, salle de bain et espace de vie. Nous construisons tranquillement et observons des heures tranquilles. Nous avons des résidents locaux qui vivent également dans le bâtiment. Nous fournissons des possibilités d'emploi pour un résident local avec vos frais de nettoyage. Le stationnement est gratuit à l'avant du bâtiment. Great sentier à 1 pâté de maisons qui mène à la petite port de bateau 1 mile away. Peut accueillir 2 adultes et 2 enfants en bas âge

Great location a very short walk to the downtown shopping area & some bars & resturants. The other resturant & store area by the marina is just a mile & half away so could walk or drive to it. It is exactly as pictured and kitchen has every cooking appliance you could want.

This little apartment was at an extremely convenient location, near restaurants and the Sea Life Center. We found the bed too soft for our taste, and it is (as advertised) a small place. But it does have a kitchen and two chairs to sit at in the entry way, so we were comfortable enough. The price was quite good, so we felt we had a good deal.

It was the cutest little apartment, perfect for my husband and I! The host made sure to breakdown all the information you needed for check in and check out. Shelly was very responsive and gave many suggestions for tours and food. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to from this stay- the small boat harbor being the farthest around a mile. The place was very clean and had everything you could need from kitchen appliances, to soap in bathroom, to fans in the bedroom! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

I highly recommend this apartment if you're staying in Seward. Very clean, organized, and seamless process for check-in/check-out. We stayed in a downstairs unit in this small historic apartment building. The kitchen has everything you'd ever want or need. We appreciated they had some Tupperware for us to borrow to pack a lunch. It's a relatively small space, but they have maximized the layout and it has a huge empty closet for luggage, two chairs for lounging, and a long counter with stools for setting out your stuff. For the two of us it was perfect. It's just a minute walk to the beach/park, restaurants (we recommend Seward Brewing Co.) and just a 5 minute drive down to the harbor for boat tours. We appreciated the enforced quiet hours 10pm-7am. Communication was excellent. Thank you so much!

Perfect little apartment

My husband and I rented this apartment for three nights and it was perfect. Very clean, close to restaurants, shopping and the free shuttle service. Would stay here again!

The Marathon Historic apartment was a perfect base for our time in Seward and the Kenai Fjords. The apartment is very comfortable and homey, clean, well-equipped, quiet, and the location is excellent for walking to the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and the Alaska Sealife Center. Shelly provided clear instructions for check-in and many great recommendations for restaurants and attractions. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day!

We absolutely love traveling and being hosts, mostly to share stories and adventures. When we get a chance to talk with our guests, it renews our love for our home and community. We are so blessed. We want to share this blessing with everyone.

it is one of the oldest buildings in Seward and we loved the history and the possibilities to bring it back to life. We have worked hard to provide a nice clean quaint and quiet place to stay. We have local residents in the building who you may run into out and about. Some are born and raised in Seward!!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

So close to everything! this building was origianlly a boarding house for railroad workers and others in the early 1900's and survived the 1964 earthquake and tsunami. This property is very unique. It is one of Seward's oldest buildings build in either 1905 or 1906. It was a boarding house to the railroad workers in the early 1900's. It survived the 1964 earthquake tsunami. In 2017, we bought this run down virtually empty building and spent every weekend for 6 years coming down from Anchorage and renovating the entire place. Just my husband and I. We have finally moved to Seward and love this amazing community. We hope you love what we have done to restore history.
