Un costume de deuxiĂšme Ă©tage en face de UNE, Biddeford Pool, sud du Maine beac

Nous sommes une maison construite sur mesure, conçue par l'architecte du Maine, Caleb Johnson, et installée sur un terrain boisé qui surplombe le marais de la piscine de Biddeford, un refuge d'oiseaux de Rachel Carson. Nous sommes à 2 minutes à pied du centre du campus de l'Université de la Nouvelle-Angleterre et à 7 minutes à pied de Hills Beach, une plage isolée du Maine qui, à marée basse, propose des promenades menant aux ßles voisines. Nous sommes également à seulement 10 minutes en voiture ou à vélo de la plage de Fortunes Rocks, qui offre 3 km de sable et est réputée pour son surf. Biddeford Pool (3 miles) Kennebunkport (10 miles) Old Orchard Beach (12 miles) et Portland (20 miles) sont et facile en voiture.

Notre suite (appartement) comprend une chambre avec salle de bain et un salon pouvant accueillir plusieurs personnes sur un canapĂ©-lit inclinable et un matelas. Une deuxiĂšme salle de bain complĂšte se trouve dans le hall du premier Ă©tage et sert les invitĂ©s dormant dans le salon. Nous n'avons pas de cuisine complĂšte mais un petit rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, un micro-ondes et un grille-pain. Des fournitures pour le petit-dĂ©jeuner continental sont disponibles dans le salon. Un bain Ă  remous, des Ă©quipements de plage, deux vĂ©los, des vĂȘtements sont quelques-uns des Ă©quipements inclus.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I. It sits back off the road surrounded by woods. It was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating. They provided snacks, water and soda. We enjoyed the hot tub. Located close to many beaches where we watched sunrise, sunset and moon rises. Highly recommend you should stay here!

I feel very lucky to have found this VRBO listing. Brenda and Phil were great hosts and the property is so nice and welcoming.The rooms are nicer than can be captured in the photos, and everything is rather luxurious and comfortable.The location is awesome, as it's right by UNE (I went swimming there; very nice pool and facility), and close enough to beaches, and a short drive from Kennebunk.I'd definitely stay here again, and would recommend to friends and family.

Lovely place and gracious hosts

Phil and Brenda's place was a very nice place to stay while we were running the Maine Coast half marathon. The hosts thought of every detail and made us feel right at home. We would certainly stay here again when in the area!

Clean, quiet, excellent location near UNE and Biddeford Beaches

My wife, our two teenagers, and I enjoyed a week-long Maine vacation here. It was very clean, very quiet, and very conveniently located. EXTREMELY quiet and secluded location while still very close to everything you'd want to visit in the area.

We were in Biddeford visiting our daughter who is a freshman at UNE. Loved the property and the location being walking distance to campus made for a wonderful visit. Already planning our next stay for move in for the Fall Semester!

Getaway

Brenda and Phil are great hosts!! Their hospitality is unmatched and all of the little touches didn't go unnoticed. The rental is close to great food and shopping, we even took day trips into Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We definitely enjoyed our stay!!

It's a magical place

We absolutely loved our stay. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 (2 adults 2 teenagers). Comfy beds, great extras like bagels and other snacks and a gorgeous property. Hosts were very kind and friendly. Close distance to beaches and cute towns close by. We would stay here again!

Wonderful location

This was a terrific place to stay. The rooms were upstairs over the garage, so there was a nice sense of privacy, although there’s an adjoining door to the kitchen. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a queen bed, and two single beds in a separate room. Perfect for a family. The property is surrounded by woods and feels secluded, but is only a couple hundred yards from the campus of the University of New England. Great location to visit the university, and an easy 10 minute drive to Biddeford (or half and hour to Portland). Our hosts were lovely people, friendly and helpful, with a very sweet greyhound named Ollie. Terrific stay, highly recommended.

Little paradise

Thank you to Phil and Brenda to have shared with us their little paradise 😊 The place is well located in a quiet area, the courtyard is a beautiful garden with plenty of flowers, a terrasse and a jacuzzi and the appartment was perfect to accomodate a family of four and well decorated.

Like staying with family

This is our third time staying at Brenda and Phil’s and they are just so sweet. It’s like staying with your grandma and grandpa. They go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable and happy and have everything you need. We’ll be back next year for year 4!

Rejuvenation in Biddeford

Our 4 nights here offered everything we had hoped for: beauty, relaxation, all the comforts of a well cared for property, and the graciousness and generosity of our hosts (both human and canine!) Phil and Brenda were friendly and informative, but also allowed us the privacy we wanted. We look forward to returning in the future.

We are an active retired couple who built our house to retire near our grandchildren. Our son is a well know ME architect and he designed a very custom home for his parents. Our home has been featured in Maine Home and Design's Ageless ME May 2018 issue.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We have a wonderful location on a wooded lot on a marsh which is a Rachel Carson bird sanctuary. It is only a short walk to the the peninsula of Hills Beach where you can see both the sunrise and sunset. We are also basically on the campus of UNE with its new tennis and pickle board courts just across the street. We are very close to Biddeford Pool and Kennebunkport and Portland.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

You will love Brenda and Phil's Place because it is new and secluded in the Maine woods. However we are very close to everything on the Southern Coast of Maine. Our home was designed for Airbnb and VOB in mind so we have a separate entrance and you also have use of our washer dryer which is close to your suite and all equipment you need for a day at the beach.
