Great location

In the heart of town. Parking was very convenient. All the amenities were great. The VRBO app did not allow us to check in, but luckily, the property management phone number was on a sign in front of the property.

Absolutely Lovely

5 STARS! Easy to find, easy parking. Great location, walkable to/through town. Cute and comfortable cottage and the grounds are so pretty. The host was so kind to leave a delicious pastry from a local bakery, and the unit was well stocked with all of the essentials. Will definitely recommend to friends & family.

Solvang Cottage

Great stay at a charming cottage just off the main drag in downtown Solvang. Walking distance to everything yet the cottages are set back from the street far enough so you don't hear any street noise. The cottage was spotless and well appointed. Highly recommend.

Very poorly equipped kitchen. NO sharp knives, one round bottom skillet, only 3 kitchen knives. no tea kettle. Slope on the shower floor was such that the bathroom flooded despite efforts to prevent. had to leave several towels at shower entrance. Of course it is an ADA cottage I guess, so no barrier between shower and bathroom. We had a break-in and wanted to change the entry code; despite several attempts to owner and VRBO, no one replied as to how to do that.

The property was exactly as shown on the VRBO website. Everything was very clean and there were lots of unexpected extras. The host provided snacks and bottled water and all of the little extras like an iron, utensils and paper plates. The door ways were very wide to accommodate my wheelchair and it was a very comfortable experience. I’d return again.

Beautiful Cottage

The cottage was super cute and clean. It is located in a perfect location. It was close to the shops and restaurants. The host was kind and left a note with a dessert in the fridge. I loved the little notes on how to use appliances. It was all well thought out. Our stay was perfect! We will be returning in the future.

Fabulous ADA Solvang Cottage!

They thought of everything! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome note, giving us some information about our location and the town, and a fabulous Danish pastry. All of the regular items were provided-a very clean cottage, nice towels, dishware, nice sheets on the bed, but they also provided some nice "extras"-coffee in the cupboard, bottles of water in the fridge, a candy dish filled with chocolate, paper plates (in case we took advantage of the outdoor table), and games. The cottage is handicapped accessible-walk-in shower, handrail bars in the bathroom, a couple of chairs in the living room with arms (for those like our aunt who get around with a walker), open space in both the living room and bedroom to allow for a walker or wheelchair. The cottage is steps from the downtown shops, which allowed us to rent a wheelchair from the nearby bike rental place and get our aunt into several of the shops. We were very thankful that we found this place! We don't think there could possibly be a better place to stay in Solvang!

Accessibility

My husband is wheelchair bound. This place is not only very accessible, but also also the nicest in town. We’ve been in Solvang a few times, and none can compare to this home away from home.

Great downtown location.

This little cottage was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to stay in the middle of Solvang, so we could walk to all the places we wanted to see. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
