Beautiful unit in a convention location a short walk from the windmill and High Roller Tiki bar. Only deducting a star because most of the bowls and dishes werent cleaned and the bed linens were still soiled (bright yellow stain on the comforter).

House was clean, well furnished and lit, did not have any odors. Everything was wonderful! The house was spacious, bright, cheerful, clean, not overly cluttered at all. I do think the mattress in the master bedroom definitely needs to be replaced, as it was undulating and extremely uncomfortable for my back, so my sleep was poor. Also, the exterior gates need to be fixed a bit, one of them never opens from outside, and the other doesn't latch all the way. But everything else was amazing!

Wonderful stay in a perfect location

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the house was. The location couldn't have been better! We were able to walk to numerous restaurants and shops, making it incredibly convenient for us to explore the area without worrying about transportation. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway.

We were very pleased with our stay in Solvang. The location was perfect- within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, gift shops, and our favorite, vintage shops. We also loved that it’s only 35-40 minutes to downtown Santa Barbara, and very close to local towns that are just as enjoyable as Solvang ( Los Olivos our favorite). The cottage itself had everything we needed, and it was especially helpful to have a washer/dryer. It’s in a quiet part of town, so sleeping was pleasant. We also enjoyed the front patio, with its beautiful view of the mountains. We both appreciated the keurig coffee maker, the extra towels, and hangers for our clothes. The little thoughtful touches make a difference! We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Downtown Solvang

If you want to be able to enjoy Solvang by foot and still be able to quickly get back to an enjoyable and relaxing home, this is one of the best properties to experience with your family.

We had such a lovely time and we absolutely adored the Magnolia Cottage! It was located perfectly in the midst of Solvang and we were able to walk to everything in the town. The house was clean and very well kept. My only critique is that there weren't many utensils or tools for cooking which made it difficult to make meals in the house. Other than that, we had such an awesome stay and would absolutely recommend staying here!!

Another fantastic stay

Such a wonderful location. Clean, new, everything is in great shape. The beds are so comfortable. Great little spot to lounge up front with a glass of wine.Only suggestion, better wifi!

Cozy home

The Magnolia House was so cute, comfortable, cozy and I love the architecture and decor. Great location. Walking distance to everything in Solvang. I would recommend staying here and I would love to stay here again.

Excellent location to enjoy all things Solvang

Location is perfect to walk all around downtown and although next to the main roads, the interior was quiet. Perfect location to enjoy Solvang and all of its nearby attractions. Attention to detail with the unit made our stay very enjoyable.

Great spot in Solvang

This place is in a great location, cute decor, and very comfortable place to stay. The host was quickly responsive to our early check-in request. The wifi is a bit slow and the town overall doesn't have great cell service but it wasn't too much of an issue. Overall a great stay!

Clean and cute

We had a lovely stay at the Magnolia Cottage. It was a good size and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. WiFi wasn’t very strong and went in and out but other than that it was perfect. Great location also.

Fun Stay in Solvang

We had a fun overnight stay at Magnolia and visit to Solvang for Abelskivers for breakfast, window shopping at galleries and interesting shops, winetasting at Dascomb's and a quick visit to Ostrich land. This place was very cute and clean and so close to downtown that it was perfect. The only thing I'd change is to have the place a little bit warmer upon arrival so it didn't take so long to heat it up :)

Classy and Super Clean

This home had everything we needed and nothing we did not. Central location, very clean, feather pillows (thank you!!), and a cozy space. Very quiet at night but some traffic noise during the day if that's not something you are used to.

Well placed cottage in heart of Solvang

Met up with gal friend for long weekend of wine tasting, spa massage and strolling in sunshine of lovely Solvang. Cottage is clean, comfortable and has large kitchen, living room and outdoor space to watch sunset behind hills above Santa Barbara. Street parking was easy and we walked everywhere for rest of the weekend- restaurants, shopping, coffee/pastry, wine tasting on outdoor patios ideal for people watching. Definitely recommend.

Perfect

Location, location, location. This lovely B’nB is located a walk away from anything you’d want to see or do in Solvang. It’s well kept and in a very pretty and quiet neighborhood with easy access and parking. A fabulous Michelin Restaurant is just 456 steps from its doorstep. Los Alamos and Los Olivos are must sees and a quick drive from the house. It was perfect!

So pleasantly surprised when we first walked in. Interior looks like it was lifted right out of Sunset magazine. Exceptionally clean. So roomy. Beds are ++ comfortable. Location is the perfect distance from downtown, low noise but so close. Nice little patio area for a glass of wine and views of the hills. Everyone loved it!

Excellent Solvang location

We were very impressed with the property, overall. The property was very clean and had modern, up to date furnishings. The furniture in the the living room was comfortable, as was the bed in the master bedroom. The location, just a short block from the vibrant atmosphere of Solvang, was very quiet. It was easy walking to in-town attractions and restaurants. The grounds are nice, clean and quiet. We sat out in the patio area, in the evenings, enjoying the cooler early evening weather. Entertainment on site is through a FireTV, which we learned to use while there. I would suggest an instruction tutorial for people unfamiliar with the operation of FireTV. Parking is on street, but, there was never a problem parking directly on the street, in front of the house.

Great location!

It is very centrally, located and easy to get anywhere in Solvang. Couple things
the wifi is not consistent in the whole house. Cell service is marginal inside the home. Only worked in the back bedrooms. Really needs some greater attention to detail in cleaning (dirty dishes in cabinets including a bowl that had food in it, cleaning rags left out, hair on floor, walls and bath mat in bathroom) Do not expect to be able to cook a bigger meal. It was on the slim side for cookware and not enough plates (4) or bowls (3) without doing dishes constantly. The host did not get back with me after initially coming for the wifi on any other issues. The WiFi did not improve after the host said he was going to get someone. For the cost, I expect much more.

Lovely stay!

We only stayed one night on our way from SF to San Diego, but would happily have stayed longer! Really nicely put together cottage, great location, near everything, but still quiet. Everything feels newly renovated and thoughtfully chosen. Thanks !

Centrally located Solvang

The property is very nicely decorated, up-to-date and clean. It is very comfortable and centrally located with walking to shops and restaurants. The one need for improvement is the wifi - internet. I needed to check in at work and found the service kept dropping and was very slow. None the less, I would recommend this property.
