Cette jolie maison est située sur plus de 18 acres qui est au bord du lac au lac Lewisville. Profitez du lever du soleil sur le lac depuis le pont avec votre café du matin et du coucher du soleil sur le pâturage. Nos bovins longhorn offrent un environnement pittoresque supplémentaire pour votre plaisir! Nous sommes vraiment une oasis au milieu de la banlieue de DFW. À 35 miles de Dallas, à 2 miles de l'épicerie et des restaurants, à 12 miles de Denton, à peu près la même distance de Dallas North Tollway et à seulement 7 ou 8 miles du centre-ville de Little Elm. Vous pouvez skier, pêcher, bateau et nager juste en face de notre propriété ou faire un tour de 10 minutes en bateau vers le lac principal. Ancrez ici juste en face de la propriété pour garder votre bateau bien situé pendant votre séjour! De plus, la pêche semble être superbe ici même au large de notre banque comme vous pouvez le voir sur la photo de l'un de nos locataires les plus récents! Allée fermée privée et beaucoup d'espace de stationnement. Si vous aimez la paix et la tranquillité, la vie sauvage et la vie à la campagne tout en étant proche de la banlieue, c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut.

Great location and great owner! We enjoyed everything this VRBO had to offer! The cows were even a hit for my 2 year old grandson!

We needed a place to stay to visit family in nearby Plano. Great place for pets. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the Longhorns. Pete is a great host!

Relaxation retreat

The house by the lake was great as it allowed us to disconnect from our busy lives. Spending time by the lake, feeling the breeze, listening 🎶 to the nature sounds afforded us with an opportunity for reflection and connectedness.

Very peaceful and laid back.

We had a great time. The teenagers loved having the lake right there and spent a lot of time at the water. Very quite even by the water. Not a lot of lake traffic so like having your own private place. Easy to get to and has all the comforts anyone would need. The Longhorns are an added bonus!

Great Escape!

We were able to bring both dogs and both cats and get away from the noise and chaos of repairmen fixing our house damage from the recent storm. We enjoyed the lake view, the friendly cattle, and the very comfortable house. Pete was great!

Hands down the best VRBO I have stayed at! Lived my best life for the week we stayed! Only had one issue but Pete was super attentive and got it taken care of! We became quick buddies with the animals! Loved loved loved!!

Quaint and quiet

This was the perfect getaway - ina ranch setting only minutes from the city, great shopping and restaurants! Beautiful property, with huge trees and great views of the lake. So thankful I could bring my dog - she’s never seen cattle...especially long horns! Pete was so helpful and responsive - a few things in the house could use updating (along with the patio furniture), but it was quaint and quiet...and the perfect getaway for our girls’ weekend!

Peaceful

Since we haven't been out much during the pandemic we really enjoyed the peace and quiet and could forget about the virus for a time. We loved having the cows in the backyard and were pleasantly surprised they had kayaks we could use. Our grandson fished from morning until night. We found the place homey and comfortable. The only recommendation I would make is to possibly get a new stove.

Beautiful Location

The location of this property is amazing. The property is very country and would be made really great with some minor updates. Pete, the owner, is amazing. Very, very willing to address any needs. I did feel the property may not have been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. I have NO DOUBT that Pete is/will address this with his cleaning company. We would have stayed a few days longer b/c we enjoyed it so much but, it was already booked! Great place.

Rustic

Rustic with old appliances and window units for airconditioning. Clean sheets, towels, kitchen. Burner on stove don't all work and what ever I cooked it stuck to pans (I would update pans). Wonderful deck and access to lake with fire pit and tables and chairs. Pet friendly which our dogs and cats loved. Plenty of parking and very quiet. Neighbors not very close which gave us privacy as well.

I'll be doing this again.

Amazing lakehouse property, the house was clean and everything was what he said it was the only weird thing were the ghost LOL great thing I actually love horror related things otherwise I would've been scared but other than that and I can only speak for myself but I'll be renting from him again and i have others that have also rented his property, we all love it.

Beautiful Property

My son is a Senior and, due to the pandemic, was not able to have a graduation ceremony. So instead we had a Graduation Trip for the whole family. I am so glad we chose this property for our family. The land is absolutely stunning. There is a small copse of trees down close to the lake shore with a patio table & chairs and string lights between all the trees. The cows are friendly and were never frazzled by our little ones. The lake was so much better than our expectations. No trash, not busy or overcrowded, great shoreline, lots of ducks and birds. We just overall really enjoyed our whole stay. Oh! Plus the owners were super helpful and prompt in all communications. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Family trip

We stay on VRBOs about 5 times a year and found this Property disappointing - Older, out dated, and missing some essentials; washcloths, hand towels, grill lighter, trash bags. Could use some attention; several missing outlet covers, furniture & mattresses had sink holes, water dripped/ran in bath faucet 24/7, towels had holes, lampshade, side tables, & patio cushions were fragile/brittle.. Driveway is shared with another rental house, over looks an rv park, must cross pasture to walk to lake (too muddy). We adjusted our plans to spend most of our time away from the house, so not to break fragile items. Owner was responsive, and blamed housekeeper.

I'm actually quite confused with this review. I wish I had had the chance to address these issues while you were here. Our housekeeper is top notch and I honestly do not remember any such comment. Anyhow, please know that you can always contact me during your stay if I can make things better for you!

Longhorn 65th Birthday Adventure

We sure enjoyed this place! The land is beautiful with a great view and access to the lake. The house was so perfect for our group! GREAT AC!! The kitchen had everything we needed with an awesome gas grill outside. Our favorite spot was the back porch! The cows come right up to the porch and will let you feed them corn cobs, etc. They were really a big plus! Pete was so accommodating and a great host! Would love to go back and hope he never sells this property to the 'McMansions that are encroaching all around it.

Peaceful stay on lake

In a COVID world it was nice not to be right next to neighbors and have some space. Good fishing right from shore. Having longhorn cattle right off the deck was a bonus for a family from WI. The kids especially loved it. Very friendly.

Great host, nice country stay

This is a nice place & truly like being in the country. I was a little surprised by how close the other guests were (several rentals on the acreage) & I wouldn't consider this place waterfront (at least in what I was looking for). However, the host & site manager are both wonderful people. The house is well furnished (loved the kitchen and deck!) A side note to renters about VRBO (they charge - as in, take the funds) a huge security deposit, about half of the cost of the entire rental, & hold it for a few weeks after the stay. Notice how they have people rate the properties/owners, but there are no questions to rate VRBO. I will not ever use VRBO again. Several better options available that don't do this.

Sheryl, Thanks for your comments. I know that the house is not right on the water's edge, but we are lakefront property. (Not to argue) :) Also, just to let folks know, the only other cabin that is close to you share a driveway, but you cannot even see each other from the decks. (Again, not to argue) :) Anyway, I hope you will give VRBO another shot. They have been a great experience for me and my wife. Not only from an owners perspective, but from a renters as well. Pete
