Décrite par de nombreux habitants comme l'une des plus belles propriétés les plus recherchées de la ville, cette vieille ville, 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain, 2 étages avec maison loft est située sur Soda Creek dans le centre-ville de Steamboat Springs, Colorado! Cette maison / cabine rustique, mais améliorée, comprend toutes les commodités, y compris W / D, les appareils en acier inoxydable, les comptoirs en granit, les planchers de bambou et de bois franc dans les parties communes, la moquette dans les chambres et les draps et articles ménagers pour votre confort. En plus des 2 lits, il y a aussi un futon pleine grandeur et un matelas gonflable queen-size, si nécessaire. Un pack-n-play et des barrières pour bébés sont également disponibles pour ceux qui séjournent avec de jeunes enfants. You can’t beat the location! If you are looking for a sweet, rustic cabin next to a flowing creek, this is the place! It is perfect for 1-2 couples who enjoy the outdoors and being in a beautiful setting. We loved it for its location close to town, proximity to hiking and fishing options and excellent restaurants. We would definitely come back!

The property is great. The house is well appointed and very clean. We were disappointed that the fireplace was not working inside the unit and the firepit that was shown outside in the photos was also unavailable. A fireplace is always a deciding factor for us when we visit the mountains and would have been especially inviting this weekedue to the cold rainy/snowy weather. Overall tge place is incredible and we would stay there again.

Our family of 4 absolutely loved this cabin! The location was great….so many shops and restaurants within a few blocks. We enjoyed waking up to the sights and sounds of the creek and spending the evenings on the back porch. The cabin was stocked with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay and the host was very responsive. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, scenic, peaceful place to stay, and we hope it’s available the next time we visit Steamboat Springs!

This cabin was amazing! So close to downtown yet we felt like we were in the woods even saw a bear in the backyard one morning, would definitly stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Cabin in Steamboat. It was the perfect size for two adult couples, cozy, and comfortable during a snowy February week. We loved the proximity to Steamboat Resort (15 min drie) and just a few blocks from the main street restaurants and shops, which we walked to several times including during evenings when it snowed heavily and we didn't feel safe driving. The cabin is situated nicely with a view of the yard and stream so it feels secluded, and it had all the amenities (kitchen items, washer/dryer, comfy beds and seating) we needed. The host lives next door and was very responsive when we needed something, but not at all intrusive. We will definitely stay here again!

MICE!Within the first 90 minutes of unpacking our car, a mouse poked out its head from under the gas fireplace. A few minutes later a mouse scurried across the living room floor and under the couch we were sitting on. We tried to sweep it out toward the door, but it ran under the refrigerator. We messaged the host via the VRBO app and while we were waiting for him to respond we checked out the kitchen and discovered mice poop in the cupboards. (See Photos)I was so disappointed!! We'd made this reservation months ago, attracted by photos of the outdoor space along the creek and by the proximity to downtown. Well, those photos are misleading. While the property does have a grassy area along the creek, it is also next door to what appears to be a construction company and construction storage yard.(See Photo) Consistent with the rodent problem, we found this property to be run-down and poorly maintained. There were missing screens on a number of the windows, there were broken and missing blinds, the fireplace did not work, and the BBQ was in pieces! And that's just what we found in the short time we were there.After calling VRBO Customer Service, we re-packed our car and checked in to a motel. We did not spend a single night at this property. I don't know about you, but cleaning up mouse poop, sanitizing dishware, and catching & disposing of dead rodents is not how I want to spend my family vacation - regardless of how close the property may be to downtown.

My wife and I purchased this property in March of 2018. We have owned the neighboring property for 16 years. I grew up in Laramie, Wyoming and moved to Steamboat when I was 16 to attend Steamboat Mountain School. I currently work for the City of Steamboat Springs as the Supervisor of Howelsen Hill Ski Area and Rodeo Gorunds. My wife is from Wisconsin and moved here 17 years ago. She is a nurse at the hospital. We met here in town and feel very fortunate to be raising our family in the town we both love.

We chose to purchase this property because we own the neighboring property and just love our little piece of nature in the center of downtown. The two properties are located in downtown and offer the convenience of being just a few short blocks from shops, restaurants and entertainment. The properties, however, are tucked in next to the creek and offer a serene and peaceful oasis in the middle of downtown.

This house is located on the beautiful Soda Creek. The layout of the house offers incredible views up and down the creek. When you are in the house it feels as if you are the only house around and yet you are conveniently located in downtown Steamboat Springs.
