A lovely home and I would gladly stay again but would bring earplugs to sleep better. Being so close to downtown with all the shops and businesses has the downside of traffic at night. The outdoor patio in the summer would be a great place for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset.
House was clean and close to the local amenities. The only downside was a terrible odour when we stepped outside. Tyrell and Jenni were very responsive hosts.
When we arrived, the place had not been cleaned from the last tenant. The Host offered to do a 'quick clean' but we needed to be in and getting ready for our evening plans. We didn't have time to wait for a 'quick clean'
The house is a very old home divided into two rentals. The part we stayed in had all three bedrooms on the second floor (13 steps). Bathroom is small with a pedestal sink, right off the kitchen, which faces the street, and the windows have no blinds or shades. One thing not noticed when making the reservationâhouse does not have central air. Fortunately, there were portable air conditioners in the living room and two of the bedrooms (third bedroom was quite warm without AC). Bathtub drain was clogged, but owner was VERY responsive to our messages and hopefully took care of it after we left. Off street parking was a plus.
