Historic Stillwater Home close to downtown

This historic 1882 home is located in a charming neighborhood 0.5 miles from town. The house has been completely renovated and updated. It has 2 bedrooms with a family room that can be completely closed off for privacy/third bedroom. This home is located on the South Hill above the Chilkoot Stairs with astonishing views of downtown Stillwater and the river. Enjoy sitting on the front porch or the bonfire pit in the back yard. This house is about a ten minute walk to many restaurants, shopping, and the scenic St. Croix River. There is a queen size air-mattress available but please no more than 8 guests. This house is not handicap accessible. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay! The place is absolutely adorable and you can really tell how much care and love has gone into maintaining it. It was spotless and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable trip. Stephanie was an amazing host—so kind, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. We felt right at home and will definitely stay again!

Three friends stayed at this property and we loved it! Stephanie was so responsive and helpful and check in/ out was very convenient. . The home was spotless. The kitchen had everything you might want including pans that were in excellent condition. There were nice touches like snacks, good coffees etc. The location was so close to downtown and yet ample off street parking was so convenient. The sofa bed may have been the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve slept on. We hope to return in warmer weather!

We enjoyed the location and amenities of this home. Our group of 4 adults and 3 infants were able to spread out and sleep comfortably, the house write up was accurate and the homey touches provided a wonderful space to relax and reconnect. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here for 1 night but weren’t at the house much. It is in a great location - we walked to the Main Street and spent most of our time there shopping, eating and enjoying Stillwater! The house was very comfortable and perfect for us 5 girls to enjoy a friends getaway!

The rental was very nice, beautifully decorated with a full kitchen, extra bedding and everything we needed. We had a family Thanksgiving dinner together there, and the home was nicely decorated for the holidays. The area is great, located above downtown Stillwater and just a short walk down via the Stillwater stairs. The owner was great at communicating with us. Only issue was a snowstorm that shorted our stay. I would definitely book again.

NICE HOME, CLOSE TO TOWN. As we are all elderly, the uneven floors gave us a challenge ... also the extra wide and steep staircase was challenging for us. Other than that, the home was lovely and we appreciated the coffee and other kuerig beverages and cookies. Would definitely recommend this home to others! The hostess was wonderful to communicate with.

Stayed here while visiting grandparents, as my childhood home no longer fits our family. This place was perfect! Great location, easy walk to Main Street stairs to get downtown, close to Meisters, coffee, St. Mike's church. Amazing kitchen with very nice appliances, knives, etc. I appreciated the stand mixer, as I was making dinner for my parents. Also appreciated the snacks and coffee bar. So nice to sit with coffee on the front porch in the am, and eat outside in the back in the pm. What a GEM this place is, and so clean! Would definitely recommend!

The owner is super friendly and very prompt in responding. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable and there was AC in both bedrooms. The grounds are well manicured and peaceful. Off street parking and a nice little coffee bar. Highly recommend and we would definitely love to come back! Very convenient to downtown as well.

Great home and location. Overall there was absolutely everything we needed in this cute home. Stephanie was easy to communicate with and she provided many extras such as coffe pods, creamer, charging cords for almost any device, excellent wifi. Upstairs bedroom and bath was roomy and comfortable, stairs were quite steep we felt. Downstairs bed and bath on the small side, but we used another room for our suitcases. The location is great.
