Bienvenue dans notre nouvelle cabine (Among the Peaks) située à seulement vingt minutes de Burnsville en Caroline du Nord et à une heure d'Asheville. Une fois que vous arrivez à la cabine Among the Peaks vos premiers mots seront Wow! Regarde la vue. La chaßne de montagnes vous coupera le souffle. Entrez dans notre nouvelle cabine qui offre trois chambres à coucher, King, Queen, Queen. et deux salles de bain complÚtes avec un demi-bain sur le niveau principal. Des serviettes et des draps de qualité sont fournis.

La cuisine a de beaux comptoirs en granit et des appareils en acier inoxydable et est entiÚrement équipée avec des ustensiles de cuisine modernes, une cafetiÚre et tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer vos repas.

Profitez du plan d'étage spacieux de la cuisine à la salle de séjour confortable qui comprend de belles bûches à gaz, une grande télévision et une vue imprenable sur les sommets des montagnes.

De la cuisine est un ensemble de portes françaises avec un accĂšs direct Ă  la terrasse latĂ©rale couverte. Le pont offre des meubles de patio confortables et des marches Ă  la zone de feu qui surplombe les sommets des montagnes. Étourdissant!

Amazing views and beautiful home. House is stocked with everything you need for a long weekend. Beds are comfortable. Bonus wildlife encounter with deer walking up to feed near the firepit.

Amazing place and hosts!

The beautiful pictures of the house and scenery don't do it justice to being there in person! Everything was exactly as described (actually better!), and the house has everything needed for a wonderful stay. The host's communication was exceptional. Check in and out was very simple and the hosts provide great detail on the entire process. We can't wait to stay here or one of their other amazing properties.

An Anniversary Trip

This property fit our needs quite perfectly. It is isolated, with no other humans around to make noise or have pets bothering us. The quiet combined with the mountain breezes and the breathtaking views fills the soul. We ate all our meals out on the deck and sat outside until it was time for bed each night. The house was immaculate and comfortable. We listened to the North Toe River in the valley as well as the train whistle as it wound its way through the mountains. Heaven. We spent some time on the Parkway and visited a few places. If I had any suggestion at all it would be for a chaise on the side deck to luxuriate in all that mountain air and views. I would take a little afternoon nap right there. I almost forgot to mention that we were lucky enough to see a mama bear and her two cubs and they put on a show for us! What a great trip.

A week in paradise.

It was so peaceful and being up so high and having that heavenly view- wow it was a bit like heaven. I have stayed in many cabins in the area in the last 30+ years and this is hands down the best match for John and me! I am getting ready to see if there is a week available in the fall. Again- WOW!

3rd Stay, Still 5 star, awesome views, beautiful property

This was my 3rd stay at "Among the Peaks", it feels like home rather than a vacation spot. The hosts of this property are amazing, they checked up on us throughout our stay. They seem more like friends than VRBO hosts. Every year I witness beautiful sunsets from the front porch and beautiful sunrise from the side porch. It really is a different picture every day. The cabin itself has always been clean upon my arrival, you can smell the freshness in all the bed and bath linens. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you may need. I will be back next year for my 4th stay.

Worth it just for the views! Wow!!!

We booked this place due to the photos of the views, and we were not disappointed! Wow! Absolutely stunning! The sunsets are awesome, but you have to get up and take in the early morning views too. Just breathtaking! The cabin itself is very charming, and we especially enjoyed the fireplace. There were only two of us, so we didn’t use the upstairs, but the main floor was very comfortable. The master bath was nice, and the bath towels thick and soft. We used the grill once but did not use the outdoor fire pit. The listing said the master suite had a king size bed when we booked it, but that was not the case when we arrived. However, I contacted the management team about this and they fixed the listing immediately. If they’re reading this, hopefully they’ll also correct the page in the binder of info in the cabin. :-) I also suggested larger cutting boards for food prep, a large sauce/frying pan with lid, and some decent sized sealable food storage containers for leftovers would make it a more “fully stocked” kitchen. I do have to say, these ladies were very good about communication in general. They answered every question and followed up as needed very quickly. The drive on the gravel road up to the cabin was “interesting,” but my husband handled it just fine and the views are absolutely worth it! No regrets about booking this dreamy place, and seeing a bright “shooting star” as we gazed at the star-filled sky one night was an extra bonus. :-)

Among the Peaks is Among the Views

Loved the cabin, wish we could live there among the views. Had everything we needed, kitchen well stocked, plus essentials that make a trip comfortable and easy. Bed and furniture comfortable. The only suggestion we had was to label the multiple light switches in kitchen and living room; we never could figure out the one kitchen light. Property manager communication excellent. We hope to come back some day.

Picturesque, relaxing, and peaceful

The moment we arrived, we were awestruck by the view outdoors and amazed what we saw indoors. The cabin is comfortable with all of the comforts of home. Working with Michelle and Danielle was easy, and they were professional. The description on the Vrbo website was quite accurate. We have not returned to a vacation spot in the past, yet this is one we plan to revisit again!

Wonderful Experience

The view was amazing. The property was clean and secluded. We had a fantastic trip and would recommend this place to anyone. Be aware the driveway up the the house is a pretty steep gravel driveway about .5 mile long. I made it up and down in my Mini Cooper, but if you have an option of bringing a 4wd vehicle, I would recommend to do so just in case. Overall, a rememberable vacation!

2nd Stay, Still 5 star, awesome views, beautiful place!

A Beautiful private piece of property that makes you feel right at home. Each day we saw beautiful sunrise from the side porch and spectacular sunsets from the front porch. Plenty of wildlife along the well maintained gravel drive up. I had no problem getting up the driveway. The management of this property are exceptional and are there should you need anything. Ingle's Market & Walmart approx 20 min, Dollar General Bakersville 10 min, Blue Ridge Parkway 30 min. I will be back for my 3rd trip next year, can't wait! This property will not dissapoint!

Wow Wow Wow

Do not pass this one up. The pictures don't do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous views. Cabin was just what we needed. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The gravel road leading up to the cabin is pretty exciting (pretty much one lane and steep). The best I could figure is it is around a 600 ft. climb in 8 tenths of a mile. Saw deer almost every day. We will hopefully be back sooner than later.

The Most Gorgeous Long Range Views

Outstanding property!

My group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Upon arrival it was clean and well organized. Everything worked well and allowed everyone to enjoy the drip-dead gorgeous views all around. The house is isolated so be sure to have everything you need or you’ll have to drive a while to get to a store, but that’s what we wanted so it wasn’t an issue for us. We picked up food beforehand and we’re just fine. The only issue was a minor one: the remote for the living room TV could not be found and the management company did not respond to our email. This didn’t really interfere with our real appreciation for this gorgeous rental, however.
