Bienvenue dans notre maison d'hôtes de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bains située directement à côté du lac Sabattus avec un accès direct à l'eau. Des vues à couper le souffle, de magnifiques couchers de soleil, des activités nautiques et la création de souvenirs familiaux spéciaux vous attendent. La maison a été entièrement rénovée et est située au centre des attractions du Maine telles que LL Bean, des restaurants au bord de la rivière à Hallowell, ainsi que du Vieux-Port à Portland dans le Maine. Qu'il s'agisse de lire un livre dans le calme des bois du Maine, de faire du kayak sur le lac, de faire de la randonnée avec des amis ou de cuisiner de la nourriture incroyable dans l'air du lac, vous découvrirez la beauté du Maine lorsque vous louerez cette retraite d'hôtes.

Gem of a place to stay visiting our Bates student! House was roomy, very clean, and beds were comfy. Great communication with the hosts. Hope to stay again in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the outdoor spots- balcony on each floor, fire pit area, and lake access.

Graduation Weekend at Sailors Rest

We spent Bates Graduation weekend at Sailors Rest. Paul and Kevin were fabulous hosts and Sailors Rest was the perfect port in the bittersweet graduation storm. I do hope we’ll be back.

Quiet near the lake

The owners are on site and are very respectful and wonderful people. Quiet area with a very short walk to the lake. Great location with short drives to Freeport, Lewiston, and Brunswick. Would stay again!

Great retreat!

This was a great place to spend the weekend. Spent the day out on the ice and came in to a shower that was very hot and had great pressure. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Would love to stay here again at some point.

A lovely getaway!

We had a lovely time here over the weekend for a last minute getaway out of the city. The property was clean and the hosts were very considerate, and put out towels and the lake toys for us! The property is definitely steep, so be mindful if you have young kids or older family. Overall, an easy and beautiful stay.

The Perfect Maine Getaway

:Our stay in Wales, Maine was bliss from start to finish! The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. Both upstairs and downstairs were beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The fresh, clean linens added to the comfort. Communication with our host, Paul, was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful. My ten-year-old even enjoyed some fishing during our visit! Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely visit again.

Peaceful stay

We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful location while visiting our son at Bates. The house was as described with everything you could possibly need; very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed walking down to the dock with our coffee in the morning and relaxing around the fire pit with our wine in the evening. Communications with the host were great!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Paul’s guesthouse. It was roomy and comfortable. Plenty of towels and kitchen equipment. The area is quiet and naturally beautiful.

Great weekend by the 'pond'

We very much enjoyed Sailor's Rest. It was perfect for our three generation family. Paul and Kevin were great hosts, very accommodating and checked in with me by text throughout the stay to make sure all our needs were met. Family Reunion

Our oldest child moved to Maine and this was our first chance to visit. This property was perfect for us because it was so close to him. We certainly didn't want to cram into his studio apartment! He appreciated the home cooked meals he got and we had fun just hanging out as a family.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Fun, relaxing stay. Enjoyed the beautiful sunsets over the lake and the lovely surrounding area on long walks with our dog. Place was clean with a nice kitchen were we often cooked meals. Good communication with host. Good internet allowed us to work remotely at times. Would highly recomend.
