L'appartement a été soigneusement restauré, tout en lui conservant son caractère original et en essayant d'harmoniser l'intérieur et l'extérieur. Grand séjour-salle à manger-cuisine avec cheminée. De chaque fenêtre, on a vue sur la campagne environnante, l'ambiance est tranquille et paisible.

La ferme a été soigneusement restaurée: avec des matériaux d'origine pour lui conserver son caractère. Travertin et marbre dans les salles de bains. Carreaux de terre cuite faits à la main sur les sols.

Au sommet d'une colline, fermes aux environs: L'appartement est au milieu de la campagne et des oliveraies. La vue sur Sienne et Monte Amiata (la plus haute montagne de Toscane) est spectaculaire. Paysage toscan traditionnel, vallonné et ponctué de cyprès.

Un coin de paradis

Beautiful view

Amazing location. I highly recommend this property. Views are unbelievable. My only issue was being 75 years old, the 18 steps to apt was a bit difficult. Owners are very easy to speak with and always responded.

beautiful stay in Tuscany

A wonderful location with ever changing views that take your breath away. Clean and well equiped. great communication with the hosts. Lovely area to explore. Cats that visit- sheer bliss Be aware that the property is a little rustic- shower is low pressure and hot water comes and goes. We had some visiting centipedes on the interior wall from time to time but they were harmless and easily removed. A magical stay overall - recommend

Wonderful Tuscany

We had an amazing time here with easy access to great cycling routes and easy travel by car or train to awe inspiring historic towns. Property is very well equipped to allow you to stay in and cook your own food while being a sorry drive to great local restaurants, etc. The views from the property across the Tuscan landscape is simply awesome.

Absolutely amazing!

The home is better than described. The views are incredible, it’s the perfect location for exploring Tuscany. Be sure to read the instruction book. It’s useful if you actually read it. We didn’t till the last day and wish we had, lol. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place in Tuscani!!!

We couldn’t ask for a better location in Tuscani! The apartment is on the top of a hill with amazing views!! Just like a postcard!!! The only problem is that it was very cold and she requested 15 euros more per day to allow us to use the central heating system. We declined to pay more but we were allowed to use the fireplace. —- which wasn’t easy and very smoky !! Took a while to heat the place. The kitchen is well equipped for all possible needs !!

Wunderbares Urlaubsdomizil in der Toskana

Wunderschöne, bestens ausgestattete Unterkunft mit Pool, herrlichem, weiten Ausblick über die Hügel der Toskana und grandiosen Sonnenuntergängen. Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge mit dem Auto nach Siena und den weiteren örtlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten… Lediglich die letzte Strecke auf der unbefestigten Straße ist ein wenig holprig und staubig.

Amazing location

Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, cool evening breezes on the hilltop, with authentic Tuscan farmhouse feel. The house gets a bit dark at night due to some light fixtures that were out. The tub in one bathroom was a little difficult to negotiate for temperature regulation and slippery, but the other bathroom had a shower that was fine. It has a very large clean pool, however the surrounding patio could have been better maintained. It was a relaxing stay in the country.

Tuscan Vacation

A 5 star experience! The most beautiful country side we’ve ever witnessed. The Podere Covani was beautiful. I highly recommend staying there. You will not be disappointed. If you want solitude, peaceful evening sipping wine while starring at the gorgeous Tuscan country side this place is for you! Close to cities, day trips to Florance, Siena, and other Tuscan hill towns.

3 weeks of heaven

We enjoyed our time in the farmhouse apartment. It was centrally located for Tuscan day trips. Kitchen was efficient and stocked with most basic items and came with a bottle of local olive oil. The views were spectacular and the flowers bloomed profusely. Spring in Tuscany is delightful. The information book was thorough with many suggestions. The pergola covered in vines was wonderful to sit under and read. There were lounge chairs too. Local grocery stores were easy to manage. We were even allowed by one of four cats to pet it. So cute.

Absolutely wonderful!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The views were magnificent, and our stay was serenity itself. A great spot for exploring Tuscany. There are several grocery stores nearby if you want to have food for breakfast and or supper. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Carmelina did such a wonderful job with the information book – so much interesting history and suggestions for things to do. I enjoyed taking a walk along the via Bianca. Wish we had to skip two weeks here instead of only four nights. Highly recommend.

A gorgeous authentic villa in farming landscape. Delightful with everything included for a self sufficient stay. A little out of town and a car definitely required for all excursions. Very restful with stunning views.

Wow--Amazing experience!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was beautiful, charming, comfortable, and in a great location. The place was quite well-equipped. Carmelina and Peter were so kind and helpful to us. The views are absolutely stunning. We could hardly believe our eyes! And the scents of the flowers, the visiting cats, beautiful architecture--What a wonderful start to our visit to Italy!

Spectacular Views of the Crete Senesi

My sister-in-law chose this property for it's amazing views over the Crete Senesi, and Siena in the distance. We also wanted a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns and cities. This property definitely delivered!! We also needed two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which are hard to find in rentals. The decor is rustic Tuscan farmhouse, which is perfect for the setting. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely go back in the Fall again, or even in winter. We never had time to use the fireplace, but it would be a plus on cold nights. If you are driving yourself, be prepared for a long gravel road. Some people might consider that a disadvantage, but the entire property and surroundings are so quiet and peaceful that you will see that the drive is well worth it!!!

Tuscany Perfection

After 18 months of COVID this was an Eden. Outstanding scenic location on the Crete Senesi and an hour from Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, Multepulchino and close to Florence. Apt is very comfortable with absolutely amazing views. Well stocked kitchen allowed for nice meals watching the sunset, nice clean swimming pool, and even pleasant local walks suggested by the host. Carmelina immediately responded to any questions, provided us with excellent recommendations for tour guides, and has a wealth of local information provided. Couldn’t recommend any higher.

Wie stellt man sich Toskana vor - genau so!

Ein Appartement wie man sich es sich schon immer in der Toskana vorgestellt hat. Überzeugt hat uns die Sauberkeit, die in Italien nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Angenehm machen es die Details des Appartement für einen einmaligen Aufenthalt genau wie alle notwendigen Dinge, die man tagtäglich benötigt.

Dit appartement is wat je verwacht van Toscane, rustieke inrichting met de moderne noden. Het zicht rondom het appartement is gewoon Toscane. Een groot zwembad voor de nodige verkoeling en aangenamen buren. Wie rust zoekt moet zeker hier zijn.

Toskanische Atmosphäre pur

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer kleinen Wohnanlage mitten im Gebiet der Crete Senesi. Ein wunderbares, ruhiges Örtchen mit endloser Aussicht. Rustikal dem Baustil eine toskanischen Landhauses entsprechend ist die gesamte Wohnung eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Der große und saubere Pool steht zu jeder Tageszeit für einer Abkühlung an heißen Sommertagen zu Verfügung. Der Kontakt zu Carmelina und Peter klappt perfekt und beide sind sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen.

Entspannter Herbsturlaub mit Blick auf Siena in den Crete Senesi

Wir sind sehr begeistert von unserem Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung! Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und an der Ausstattung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Marmorbad mit freier Dusche-toll! Der Garten ist sehr grün und gepflegt. Wir konnten schöne Spaziergänge durch die hügelige Landschaft unternehmen. Obwohl sich weitere Unterkünfte auf dem Gelände befinden, haben wir so gut wie Nichts von den anderen Mietern mitbekommen. Jeder hat sein eigenes Stück Garten und Terrasse mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf die Hügel des Chianti-Gebietes. In weiter Ferne erkennt man sogar Siena. Als wir ankamen, erwartete uns eine kleine Überraschung. Wirklich tolle Ausflugs- und Wandertipps wurden aufgeschrieben. Wir werden wiederkommen! Freundliche Vermieterin- vielen Dank.
